"Young lady, you do know you're outmatched? How about you just turn yourself in?" Glove said
"Looking down on me? First it was Shupeal and now it's you. Is it because I'm beautiful?" Ann instantly replied with a hit of annoyance.
"Shupeal the hax? Word has it he was so cruel that he didn't leave behind anyone he attacked. About a month ago he disappeared from the seas, do you know where he is?"
"Yeah, I know. But I'm not telling you that."
Glove, annoyed by the answer looks at Ann."I normally don't fight women, but it looks like I have to break my own code today. You and your crew are under arrest. a few nights behind bars will make you talk."
Ann, sarcastically moking Glove." Ogh, no anything but that Mr marine. I'm so scared. Are we gonna fight or are those giants gloves on your hands just for show?"
Glove finally annoyed at the girl charges in with a powerful fist attack. Ann who was caught off guard is shocked by the speed of the attack. But just a second away of landing his attack, Ann disappeared infront of his eye. Still confused he stood still trying to get a good understanding of what happened.
"Looking for someone?" Ann asked with a smile on her face. Glove following the sound of her voice looked up, there she was. She was sitting on top of a building posing nonchalantly as she looks down on Glove.(Robin's first appearance pose at whisky peak.)
Glove, confused at what had happened couldn't help but ask. "How did you get there so fast?"
"Ohh. I guess you really aren't that strong. Drakon could keep up with Balloon's speed like nothing. " she responded
"Balloon?"
"Yeah, think fast." She said pointing at the sky. Ballon coming at incredible speed grabs her and heads straight for Glove. He drops Ann a few feet away and rushes to him to distract him. As Glove trues to punch Balloon, he flies up and Ann takes advantage of the opening in his posture to land a kick to the chest.
Meanwhile.
Grount and Drakon where having a time of their life. Grount in his Zoan Hybrid form of a half man half Gorilla with his hands covered in armament haki against Drakon, who was using Armament Haki on both his hands. The two powerhouses of each group going head to head in clashes of attacks the causes the area around them to break.
Grount lands a solid fist attack on Drakon and Immediately follows up with power kick that sends Drakon a few feet away. Drakon tries to catch his breath but he notices a powerful tempest kick Immediately and blocks the attack.
"You're really not letting me catch my breath, Marine. No, Grount!!!. " He screams his name.
"You're one tough foe, I'll give you that. But, that's what I like about you East blue pirates. You remind me of my fight with luffy a few months back, Drakon!!!." He screams back as the charges at each other yet again.
Meanwhile
Glove grows irritated by the fighting tactics of Ann and Ballon, Ann tries to sneak up on him from the back. But, now that he git used to their tactics, he manages to surprise Ann by grabbing Ballon by the leg and throwing the bird at Ann. "You know, you're one irritating bunch. But this is where it ends." Glove said walking towards Ann, he grabs her by the hair. "This is where the games end. " Ballon seeing Ann in trouble rushes over and tries to help, however the roc bird just gets sent back with one punch from Glove to its wing. "I'll get back to you later, be a dear and stay here. " He says at Ann and walks over to Ballon. "You're one annoying bird. But that ends here." He says with his fist held high. Ann comes running from behind and grabs his arm as she tries to stop him form harming Ballon anymore.
Glove irritated by her move tosses her to the ground and strikes at Ballon. Ann shocked by what was about to happen next stood there seeing everything go in slow motion. Just as his fist is about to hit Ballon, Léon comes right at the right moment. His leg crashes with Gloves fist causing Glove to take a few steps back.
"Oi, Animal cruelty is a crime. Stupid." He says looking at Glove in anger. "Léon!" Ann says in shock.
"I was wondering what was taking so long, but to think you're struggling with this weakling. I'll end it for you. Don't worry."
"Wait. If you're here, that means Zappa was-"
"Defeated. Yeah, why are looking like it's a shocker?"
"A pirates from the east blue with no bounty shouldn't be able to defeat a Marine from the new world." He responded.
"Just because I have no bounty doesn't mean I'm weak. Now, are you gonna just stand there, or are we gonna settle this? Leon asked
Meanwhile
Ella was sitting and watching the battle continue. "Honestly,why is Drakon holding back like this? He isn't even using his devil fruit powers." She thought to herself.
Grount was at his physical limit and yet still didn't want to stop the fight. It's been a while since he had thi much fun. The pirates in the new world where either too stong to fight alone or too weak to put up a fight at all, but here in the east blue he found someone who he could fight at full strength amd he didn't want the fight to end. Just at the climax of the fight, the most unexpected thing happened. His Devil fruit stating acting up. Unlike most devil fruits, his never acknowledged him as it's user. Therefore, time and time it will try to force an awakening and take control of his body. This time it picked a perfect time, he was physical tired as well as mentally from his fight with Drakon.
Inside his mind
"Hehehehe. Looks like I win this time. Grount." It said in the form of a giant Gorilla .
Grount in his human form is also visible. He stood there tied up in chains all the way to his neck. "What the hell? I thought I beat you last time. Stop messing with me. Damn it!!" He tried to break free but couldn't.
"Resting is futile, human. Now, I will crush the one infront of me. Don't worry, I will use your body good." It Said as it laughs at him.
Back to reality
Leon and Glove where still at it. However, Glove could feel the the gap in power. It was plain to see that Leon was just toying with him at this point. Giving it everything he had, he lunched one last powerful diriect punch. Leon, however used a swift sweep kick then used his other legs ankle to deliver the last strike to Gloves gut. And just like that, he had defeated Glove.
"Hey, Ann. It's over now." He said with a reassuring smile. Before they could even say anything more, they where hit with a big shockwake from Grounts transformation. "What the hell was that?" Léon asked. "It cane from where Drakon is fighting." Ann responded instantly. "Quickly, let's go. Ella went that way after he fight with the arm guy." Leon responded after picking up Balloon and giving him a piggy back. The three of them rushed towards the Area Drakon and Grount are.
Drakon stood there in a shock as he looked at the giant beast infront of him. It's raor alone was enough to break windows and send tants flying. Ella Jumped in and stood next to Drakon. "Drakon, what's going on?" She asked.
"I don't know. But, if I had to guess, I'd say his Devil fruit took over. This must be it's beat form." He responded.
Leon, Balloon and Ann came a few seconds after. The three looks at the Beast and where in disbelief. "Drakon, what the hell is that?" Léon asked.
"It's the Marine that was fighting Drakon. " Ella answered. But, before they could even catch up, the Beast stuck them with a punch. But, thanks to Drakons quick reaction, he used his Aqua Fist and countered. "Hey guys, it's my fault things git this far. I want you to stay back. I got this." He said.
The lower part of his was lifted up by water to get him at the same height as the beast. He used the water to form whips around his arms. Using one whip, he struggled the beast. The other he turned into a fist and hit grount hard in the gut. The beat was doing everything to get back in the fught, but Drakon was nit having none of that. He brutality continued beating it over and over until it was unconscious. The beast slowly transformed back into Grount. Ella, Ann, Leon amd Ballon all had one thought in their mind at the time.
"That's why he doesn't go all out." Looking at how he easily took down a beast like it was nothing.
"Water was the sauce of life, but it could also easy take life." Ella said.
"Yeah, that's why he doesn't fight anyone seriously. He knows he can easily end the fight if the really wants to." Ann said.
"Seriously. I think we chose to follow a monster." Leon added.
As the water slowly dissolved, Drakon stood infront of a fallen Grount. Bonham, Zappa and Glove all came and bagged him to stop as the fight wad over. In their eyes they thought he was going going to kill Grount. But, he used his powers to push them back. Grount who wakes up and finds Drakon standing infront of him.
"Problems with your Devil's fruit? I had them too. Look, you gotta have an anchor. Something you want to protect so much that it reminds you that you are human. It reminds you that you have much to achieve in this life....for me, it's my mom and dad. I might hate my dad . But, I also want to make him proud in a way...it's weird, right? As for my mother, I want to protect this life that she gave me. So, find your anchor and come fight me again in the gradline." He said as softly as he slowly gets up and walks towards his Crew. He says softly looking at his crew. "Let's go guys. The gradline awaits."
