Chapter 1 - Capítulo 1 - Sword Saint (1)

"IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!!!! THE GREAT FIRST STAR KNIGHT HAS BEEN DEFEATED BY THE YOUNG MASTER OF THE SNOATHOS FAMILY!!!!!!" A man shouted from one of the columns of the great arena, it was a fight between a 10 year old and the greatest one star knight on the continent.

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!????" A crowd of people shouted in bewilderment.

The bewilderment of the judge himself and the nobles around him is obvious, it was a child of only 10 years old who defeated with a simple unknown sword strike, the art of the sword or fencing is not something that existed in this time before this boy used it.

The people, still perplexed, continued to watch the boy, some of whom were sitting on thrones at the top of the arena, with a mix of excitement and surprise in their eyes. They were the 10 Archmages, the leaders of the Holy Church. The boy with short white hair and black eyes captivated everyone, watching his opponent fall awkwardly to the ground from the blow.

'I finally…..showed everyone how to fence.' Joy filled the boy's heart.

"GAIN SNOATHOS, THE WINNER OF THE...MATCH!!!" The judge shouted at the top of his lungs.

"I won!" The phrase escaped Gain's mouth.

Knights are determined by five basic ranks, they were created to protect the empire, the five ranks go from five to one, this is something shocking, a boy of only 10 years old defeated a knight of the highest basic rank with a single sword attack, this is only something that a Holy Knight could do with the help of the powers of the gods, this does not enter the minds of many.

A woman of about 25 years old wearing a red dress that reached her knees walked up to the boy, ignoring the body of the fallen knight.

"I must congratulate you, boy."

Gain immediately knelt before the woman.

"I greet the great princess of the empire, Saara Shinda."

A few hours later.

Nighttime, imperial castle, princess's office.

"Gain Snoathos, correct?"

"Yes, princess."

She wrote the name on a parchment. 'Declaration of title' is written on the parchment.

"As a princess, I shouldn't do this directly. I would have to go through the Emperor with this declaration, but I think you should know the situation."

Gain is sitting in a chair in front of the princess's desk.

"Yes, the Emperor is in a low state of power."

"For a child, you know this very well. I had said it as a joke, but you are right. The church has greater authority than my father. I myself have more authority than him. However, I don't want this to continue. I want the Emperor to continue with his absolute authority. Even if these insects die, I signed the declaration, and that will do." She handed the parchment to Gain. "As the only daughter of the Emperor and princess of this empire among the 8 empires, I declare you the 'Saint of the Sword'"

The title of Saint of the Sword was given to a child, this is a tremendous weight, this title was created for the first one who had the full recognition of a member of the imperial lineage and of the Holy Celestial Knights, the highest in authority among the knights, having this title is the same as having the authority of the princess and almost that of the emperor.

This is an honor for the Snoathos family and for Gain himself, his family has always valued being one of the most powerful noble families, and his son, at only 10 years of age, achieved the greatest title a knight could achieve and defeated the strongest first-rank knight, this is an endless record.

Gain got up from his chair and turned to leave the office, but he didn't walk.

"Before you go, where did you learn that strange swing with the sword?"

Princess Saãra is curious, but her curiosity is cut short.

"I just followed the path of my aura."

".....?"

"The princess wouldn't understand."

'A child saying that an adult wouldn't understand?' Saara stood up. "But congratulations, you are officially the greatest knight in the empire."

"That makes me happy."

Gain walked out of the office.

It may seem strange that just defeating the strongest knight of the first rank would make him above all the rest of the ranks, such as the Master Knight, Holy Knight and Holy Celestial Knight, but it is something that few understand, the boy is already something beyond a celestial knight.

There are four types of perfect bodies, one perfect for hand-to-hand combat and martial arts, one perfect for using swords or blades, one perfect for the bow or spear and the last one the perfect body for magic, and all of these perfect bodies inhabit this one boy, this is the maximum potential that a human being can naturally have.

Days later.

Imperial Training Center.

Gain is holding a wooden sword, he swings the sword steadily and quickly over and over again, up to dozens of times, if anyone who uses a sword saw it they would think that it was a strange way of swinging the sword, that's obvious no one knows about sword techniques.

'Haa....how is this aura so easy? It's different from the four Chi performances, these aura cores are something very easy.'

10 years ago Gain reincarnated as the youngest son of the Snoathos family, a noble family, he was from a world that uses an energy called 'Chi', a force of the mind and spirit itself that consequently gives strength to the body itself.

He thought that this world had Chi but that was a mistake, there is no Chi in this world, the only thing that can be said to be something like Chi is the Aura, an energy that expands and operates through the physical body and is nothing like the spiritual or mental, this disturbed Gian's mind.

"So be it."

Gian began to swing the sword again, with several horizontal and diagonal cuts.

One thing he realized during this time is that there are three types of energy or source of power in this world and that only a human could have one of each of these three types of energy, not being able to have two or three types of energy, just one. Of course, this does not apply to him thanks to the four perfect bodies in himself. The first thing he realized that is most coveted by everyone and even by his family is the 'Divine Power', something that the Church and the 'Protectors of the Church' known as Magi use. This energy allows them to use enchantments that they call 'Magic', they invoke the power of the gods. According to his knowledge, if a person could have access to divine power, they could partially use the power of the god that the enchantment was chosen for, but if it is a god that you have a bond or pact with, as they call it, you can predominantly have the power of that god in your enchantments. But if you are a host of that god, you can fully use his power in your enchantments. The only gods that the church allows are ten: Garna, Histirius, Darius, Sirius, Orean, Matsulém, Feuer, Secion, Deprec and Abigael. All other gods besides these are considered dark or evil by the church and hunted down.

Gain sees the gods considered dark or evil differently from the rest of his family or population. It's not that they are all evil or chaotic, but rather that because the ten gods have an alliance, the ten Archmages made their hosts not allow the other gods to have followers or churches. It's a very easy game that even exists in the empire: the game of authority.

The second energy would be the 'Nim', an energy that considers the use of the forces of nature, it is very similar to one of the four types of Chi, the Chi of Life, but it clearly has a tremendous difference, the four types of Chi have their variants, although similar they are not the same, the Nim would be something that a monk would use to have more communion with the flow of nature/everything, that is, it would not be something that is so necessary for him to use, but like the Divine Power it is something useful but that does not reach the same level as Chi, even the Nim has different levels of senses and communion.

And finally there is the aura.

"Ahhhh." Gain sighed 'My sword art….this body still does not have enough strength to use it, I will have to truly train it.' Gain stopped moving the wooden sword.

The aura would be the most common energy you can find, it defines your physique, it is something very simple, even if it is not, it is great for sword techniques.

'And if I imbue the sword with Aura and Naigan, it should have an additional increase to use True Absolute Slash. That's impossible, but it's still curious.'

Naigan, a technique of the Chi principle that imbues whatever the user wants in Chi.

It would be a huge increase to imbue it with Aura and Naigan, but it's something sad that Gain has to admit, he is unable to use Chi in this world, it's not that Chi is limited to a single world but that it is disconnected from the Chi System.

'Uh.'

Gain noticed someone watching him, in the blink of an eye he appeared next to a boy the same age as him, blue hair and a ponytail that reached his waist.

That was Nim being used to sense the presence.

"Why are you watching me?" Gain said.

"AAAAAAAH!" The boy was startled by Gain's appearance. "W-Wait, you were there!" the boy pointed to where Gain was.

"You didn't answer my question."

Gain's presence startled the boy. They were five meters apart from each other due to the huge width of the arena, but he appeared there in the blink of an eye.

"Don't get me wrong… I was just watching you train… have mercy."

"I see, do you think I'm going to kill you? Actually, that's actually good."

"HUH!?"

The boy's way of speaking is somewhat commoner to Gain, but that doesn't matter. To have access to the imperial training center, you must come from a family that supports the princess, he's sure of that, and that's a good thing. Gain can see the flow of aura through the boy. This is very important for someone who uses aura. The boy's aura flow is completely open and without obstacles.

"What's your name?"

"Asuta Starhaild."

"Asuta Starhaild, very well. Do you want to become a…" – 'No, that's strange, not a knight. How about a name from my world?' – "Do you want to become a swordsman?"

"Swordsman?"

Asuta doesn't know what a swordsman is, it's a word that doesn't exist for the people of this world, or was it.

"A person who uses swords, but isn't a knight."

"So that's a swordsman?"

"Swordsman!"

"Swordsman, right, I get it, but how am I going to become a swordsman? I don't know anything about swords or aura."

"You don't know anything!?"

This surprised Gain, even though the young Asuta doesn't know anything about aura or has never used a sword in his life, his aura flow is completely without flaws or obstacles, it would be perfect for a swordsman, it's not the same as a perfect body but it's pretty close.

'This kid's potential is great for this world, if I can at least give him some good encouragement.' Gain had an idea. "Hey! I'm going to help you become a swordsman. It won't really be a help, but I'll show you a technique, so pay attention to it."

"Uh… right."

Asuta finds Gain a bit strange because of the way he talks and these strange techniques and even this new word he said, but he wants to trust him.

Gain walked a few meters away, staying away from Asuta but with enough distance for Asuta to observe.

'I'm not going to use all my speed, it needs to be fast but also slow enough for him to see.'

Gain still had the wooden sword in his hands, he put strength into his feet, cracking the floor of the training center a little.

Absolute Slash of the Great Celestial Soul!

He swung the wooden sword, with that single swing a sword technique happened, it was a horizontal cut, it didn't seem to have destroyed anything even with the force of the attack, a sonic boom occurred.

Nothing seemed to have been damaged, but the wooden sword exploded from the force put into its swing, dozens of mountains thousands of kilometers away being completely evaporated by the power of the cut.

Gain turned to Asuta.

"Did you see it?"

"Y-YES!"

"Great. Memorize it completely and after memorizing it, keep practicing it, you might not be able to do it the same way but try to adapt it to yourself somehow."

"Okay!"

"Want to eat? I know a stall."

"Yes, but we're only 10 years old, can we go out like this for free?"

'What a strange vocabulary.' Gain threw away the remains of the wooden sword. "Yes, it's pretty close so you don't need to worry."

Gain was disappointed with the wooden sword. He thought it would be able to withstand the technique completely, but it simply exploded. Absolute Slash simply wasn't 100% efficient, it was 70% efficient. It still wouldn't be good enough for Asuta to fully learn Absolute Slash. However, that didn't matter much to Gain. If Asuta could at least adapt Absolute Slash to a technique that was new to him, it would still be incredible. Not everything needs to be the same technique, and he clearly wants to start a new empire of swordsmen for the world.

"Let's go."

Months later.

At that time, Princess Saara, together with the Holy Celestial Knights, announced the title of Sword Saint to Gain, who was already famous for defeating the strongest knight of the first star. It was something that shook even the other empires. Never in history had a person been crowned Sword Saint in any of the other empires. It was the first time that this had happened, even though the creation of the title was completely mythological. They didn't know that anyone would reach that level.

Gain, after his title was finally revealed, received many marriage proposals, all of which were completely rejected. He still had the morality that he was 10 years old and it was not an appropriate age to get married.

As the Sword Saint, he began to work even harder to train his Nim and Aura. He did not care about Divine Power, it was not something necessary for him, even though he was a genius for it too. He trained together with Asuta. Gain adapted his body to his Absolute Slash technique, while Asuta focused on training his aura and getting close to the Absolute Slash he saw. The two of them trained until their bodies reached the possible limit for all these months.

With the announcement of the Sword Saint's coronation, the Church became almost a mess, since the ten gods were very angry, they said that Gain was a Cultist of countless other gods, the Archmages managed to calm the ten gods saying that they would find a way to destroy this, also because of the church, Princess Saara and her fiancé Atsae Anakima, the strongest Holy Celestial Knight in the Empire, received enormous criticism from the nobility itself who did not treat them so well and also from the commoners, Emperor Hangar Shinda himself considered taking the succession away from his daughter Saara but could not, he knew that his authority only remained through his daughter, if he took her away it would be the end of all his authority and he would lose it to the church.

Near Christmas.

Night, Field of a Thousand Nights.

Gain walked through the field dressed in a white Hanfu with black parts.

'My body,I managed to train him enough, but why did the church call me to this field?'

Gain received an invitation from the church to go to this field before Christmas Eve.

A field with no one around, no matter how you look at it, it completely looks like an ambush, Gain couldn't think of anything else, the Church itself morally attacked Princess Saãra simply for having been chosen as the Sword Saint, so if it was an invitation from the church then it's an ambush.

"You know, I can't understand you guys." Gain said, looking at the sky. "The moon is so beautiful, and you want to kill me under this beautiful moon?"

Gain answered nothing.

"Are you going to hide? I can feel you guys, did you know that my Nim has improved a lot in these months? My range and ability to sense everything as well as nature has improved a lot, I can feel your feet in the field, there's no point in using an enchantment to stay hidden, I can feel it."

Nothing answered him again.

"You guys make me angry."

Gain stopped looking at the moon. In an instant, Gain's entire body was covered in a snow-white aura.

"Alright, you're not going to show up, right, mages? Then let me make you appear."

He extended his index finger to the right, the aura that covered his body shot out a beam of aura from the tip of his finger that exploded something invisible, if that something was invisible it was now turned into blood, the grass was wet with blood everywhere, a mage with an invisibility enchantment, an ambush.

From all directions around Gain, dozens of mages appeared, undoing the invisibility enchantment, Gain looked at everyone and smiled.

"You really want to kill me. From the divine power I sense in you, you're definitely mages of the highest level of the church, am I right?"

"DIE!" A mage shouted.

With an incantation in his hand, the mage tried to advance, but before he could, his upper body was blown away by another aura beam.

Blood flew in all directions.

"Let's start the fight." Gain spoke in a cold voice.

"Hey you!"

Gain appeared behind a mage and blew his head off with his bare hands.

"You're too fragile."

Another mage tried to utter the words for an incantation, but Gain appeared in front of him and blew the mage's head off with his bare hands in the same way as before, the time it took them to utter the incantations was the same time it took Gain to kill them.

"Who's next?"

"DON'T GIVE UP! BUY TIME!" A mage shouted.

"Then it's you."

The mage was blown away by an aura beam.

"Let's keep going, you're the chosen ones, aren't you?"

The mages' hearts filled with hatred, Gain's words were an insult to them, they all suddenly tried to utter the same incantations, but each one who started an incantation had their body exploded by the aura beams.

At the same time that the mages grew more hateful for the death of their companions, they were also surprised, the aura beams looked like many beams of light from the enchantments of the god of the stars that they wanted to use so much.

They are not wrong, this is not something that only seems, it really is, Gain adapted for himself without using divine power, just using aura the enchantments he saw in books of the god of the stars: Sirius.

'It doesn't make sense, there are only dozens of mages, but why does it seem like the more I kill the more of them appear?' Gain thought.

In a few moments he appeared in front of several mages and landed a punch that blew up all the mages around him, as if the damage was distributed, another skill using the aura, but this was something that still left him intrigued, he killed exactly 30 mages with this punch but felt the presence of 60 more mages.

If it was an enchantment that used basic forces of nature like the creation of living beings, he could feel it with Nim, but he can't feel anything at this level, even if it was a little.

'The number of mages is only doubling?'

This surprised Gain.

An enchantment as powerful as this is not something common.

And he notices something else, all the mages have the same clothes, height, physical build and even the same appearance, this is something absurd to Gain, but he decides to test it.

'If I use Nim to locate where this enchantment is coming from, it will be better. The enchantment only happens when one of them dies, this will work.'

With this Nim he can't feel what unnatural force this enchantment moves, but it is still possible to feel the change of nature.

Gain jumped into the sky and extended his right hand towards the mages below, in a split second all the mages had their bodies crushed as if an invisible force had put pressure on them.

Gain had distorted gravity with the aura, a pressure force so great that gravity was forced to be greater on the mages.

In the blink of an eye all the mages appeared again with twice as many of them, using the energy Nim realized where the enchantment was coming.

The change of the earth, the alteration of the air and even the occupation of an energy outside the force of nature is perceived when Gain uses Nim this time, more than 100 kilometers away on the peak of a mountain he feels the conjuration of this enchantment.

"There you are." Gain turned his gaze to the south.

Titan Mountain.

A woman was using an amplified spyglass seeing where Gain was, in her left hand a magical enchantment is visible being used.

"What is this?!"

The red-haired woman was startled, Gain was looking at her through the spyglass.

'That's impossible, it must be just a coincidence.'

'Ahh!'

Gain disappeared from the spyglass's vision.

"Where is he?"

[Miss Rachel!] A small voice of danger echoes in the woman's head.

'My danger sensor?'

"Did you think I wouldn't notice you?"

Magician Rachel's body froze, fear of the voice permeated her heart.

'Should I look back? No, if I do that I'll definitely die.'

The mage knows who the owner of the voice is, Gain, but she knows that if she turns around then she'll die.

'But how did he get here so fast? I didn't even notice, calm down, I need to stay calm. If I use an enchantment.'

Magician Rachel concentrated divine power in her left hand, undoing the enchantment that was duplicating the mages, and began to mentally conjure an enchantment.

"Kwak!" A groan of pain came out of her.

The Divine Power dissipated.

Gain grabbed her left wrist and lifted her up, the spyglass falling to the ground.

"You're the one using that magic. It's quite impressive, I have to admit, but I think you underestimated me. Do you think that just because I'm a child I don't know the basics of divine power? I can feel the concentration of Divine Power."

Gain tightened his grip on her wrist, and a greater pain occurred for the mage.

Rachel resisted the pain.

'How did he get here? In what time?'

It wasn't something Rachel could perceive, in a millisecond Gain arrived at Titan Mountain.

"That must be it."

"....?....argh!"

Gain had analyzed the witch's enchantment in seconds, and realized a connection with his real world, there was something in Chi called 'Paths', there are exactly 12 main paths and 36 levels in these 12 paths, the path he reached was that of the 'Great Soul' and was at the peak level of this path, upon reaching this path he transcended the idea of 'Death' or 'Life' and that's why he understood both concepts, and he still carries this knowledge, he can see that this enchantment is nothing less than an enchantment that sacrifices the souls of several people, the only souls nearby that could be sacrificed near Mount Titan would be those of Sukigaren Village, the essence of this enchantment is an offering, something that messes with life and death on the same level, a balance, if this enchantment continues to be used it can trigger an imbalance since there will be more living than dead, whereas the balance is the opposite of that.

Of course, Gain had his path absorbed by another Chi user and had his soul and mind sent to this world.

"That's something I really want to think about."

"Huh?"

"But first I need to take care of you."

Gain let go of the mage's wrist and pierced her chest with his bare hand and ripped out her heart. Blood flowed from the mage's heart and she fell dead on the ground.

Unlike a normal heart, the mage's heart was enveloped in divine power, even the color of the heart itself was more like gold. Gain realized that this heart could help him.

'A divine heart. Hm, that will definitely help me.'

A heart with too much Divine Power, that amount of Divine Power in the heart could kill an ordinary human.

One thing is certain for Gain, if he cultivates this heart with divine power with his aura, it will certainly bear more fruits.

Gain turned his head to the north where the Field of a Thousand Nights was, still with those same 60 mages, he closed his right hand, at the same instant the mages exploded from the inside out with the invisible force of the aura, a telekinesis.
