Chapter 73 - Chapter 73: The Sixth Grave – Final Judgment

The moment their feet left the ground, the world transformed into a furnace of chaos.

The Sixth Grave roared.

Its voice wasn't sound—it was pressure, emotion, memory. Everyone felt it. Felt every death, every failure, every scar. It dragged pain from their past and made them wear it like armor made of regret.

"You are not meant to win."

That was its first attack—despair.

But Lian surged forward, coin glowing gold in his palm, shattering the whisper with a laugh.

"I've been told that since Day One," he shouted. "But here I am!"

The Golden Ice Cream Truck warped—its comical appearance stretched, twisted, and turned into a gold-and-black war behemoth, spouting missile cones and laughter-enhancing aura cannons.

Jayce grinned. "I call it... The Sundae Slayer."

Demist's modified war-bike bled shadow trails. Alya floated above the battlefield, her robes replaced with a crown of wings and spectral orbs spinning at lethal velocity.

Jin? His eyes glowed white as he whispered three words.

"Fate, rewrite this."

---

They clashed.

Lian struck first, his vehicle roaring across the flaming field, coins spinning in every direction. The Sixth Grave raised an obsidian claw, but Lian anticipated it—he'd died to that strike before.

He dodged before it happened, slamming five explosive coins into the creature's ribs.

Jayce struck next, driving the Sundae Slayer through a collapsing tower, launching rockets that exploded into comedy glyphs—each one warping physics to hit even through time freezes.

Alya unleashed a Heaven's Collapse Array—a three-layered spell that targeted soul, mind, and flesh all at once.

But the Sixth Grave adapted.

It twisted space, warped time, cloned itself in three places—and each version was smarter than the last.

Then came the clone deaths—each one had to die five times.

One clone spat anti-magic zones, forcing Alya to shift into melee sorcery—glass blades that shattered on impact but carved memory wounds.

Another clone targeted Jayce with illusion fields—forcing him to relive his childhood in a burning home, again and again.

Demist tackled that one—breaking the illusion by screaming truths so loud that the System cracked:

"You're not a failure, Jayce! We're all broken, but we're still here!"

The last clone went for Lian—and fought like him.

Same moves. Same talents. Same vehicles.

It was him.

Lian's future self, corrupted, twisted.

"I am what you become if you ever stop laughing."

Lian's coin didn't glow. It burned.

And he smiled.

"I'm still smiling."

He crushed his own clone with a final spin—coin charged with all the memories of every survivor they'd lost.

The Sixth Grave screamed, then ascended into the sky.

Wings of flame spread out.

It began absorbing the broken world. The city, the towers, the system threads themselves—consumed.

If they failed now, there would be no retry.

No System reset.

Just annihilation.

"Now or never," Lian said.

They charged.
