Chapter 40 - AAMH: Chapter 40

After Tony and Rush left, Banner went back home, leaving Yuma alone in the shop to figure out how to quickly and safely get some souls.

Now that I have the tools, but these 100,000 souls are not enough.

One Arrancar Core costs 250,000 souls, and it's not guaranteed to be 100% successful. If I'm unlucky, it might take two or three Arrancar Cores to create one Arrancar.

If it's to create Espada, it's fine. It's okay to spend more souls. But if it's to create Exequias, and I waste a few, I think my heart will stop!

The Defense Enhancement Potion is relatively cheaper, but its cost-effectiveness is obviously not as high as the Arrancar Core.

So, the Arrancar Core is the first thing I need to exchange for.

According to the system's previous rewards, the souls I get for killing ordinary people are usually one, and rarely two or three.

But Abomination rewarded me with 50,000. If you count the previous mission, I got 100,000 souls and a Gin Ichimaru Experience Card from Abomination alone.

You know, Gin Ichimaru is stronger than Espada. Ulquiorra costs 500,000 souls. Gin Ichimaru can't be lower than that, right?

That means Abomination alone contributed nearly a million souls to me.

This shows that the stronger the person, the more souls they drop, like a bounty.

The stronger the person, the greater their destructive power, or the greater the crimes they commit, the higher the bounty.

"System, how is the number of souls obtained by killing others determined?" Yuma thought for a moment and decided to confirm with the system.

[The number of souls obtained will be calculated based on the target's strength, destructive power, killing power, and past achievements.]

"What if I kill Thanos?" Yuma asked tentatively.

[You can obtain half the number of souls in the universe.]

"Really?" Yuma couldn't believe it. "Does it have to be Thanos who has snapped his fingers, or does it work regardless of whether he snapped his fingers?"

[As long as you can kill Thanos, it works. The prerequisite is that you must have 100% of the output.]

Yuma's eyes lit up, as if he saw an ATM beckoning him.

As for the 100% output the system mentioned, it's not a problem.

When Thanos comes, I should have a lot of Arrancar subordinates. At that time, am I afraid of not being able to kill Thanos?

The Espada alone will be enough to give him a hard time.

If it really doesn't work, I'll find a way to go to Titan first, just like Doctor Strange and Iron Man did, and fight him in his base.

That way, no one can steal my output.

"There's another question," Yuma calmed down and suddenly thought of a serious problem. "If I kill Thanos who has snapped his fingers, then I can understand that the souls that should belong to Death are mine."

"If I kill Thanos who hasn't snapped his fingers, where do you get half the souls in the universe?"

[Death.]

"So, if Thanos snapped his fingers, you'll steal them. If he didn't snap his fingers, you'll snatch them from Death?"

[Correct.]

"You can snatch souls from Death?" Yuma was dumbfounded, then asked, "But wait. Since you have the ability to snatch souls from Death, why are you worried about being discovered by Death?"

[You're worried. I only said that she would discover if you snatched souls that belonged to her in a certain amount. But I never said I was afraid of Death.]

"You're so reasonable!" Yuma recalled. It seemed that the system had only said that Death would discover, but it was just a discovery.

"Brother System, do you have any way to deal with Death?" Yuma changed his tone, being cheeky. "Come on, tell me. Let me help you think about it and see if it's reliable."

[Scram.]

Although the system didn't tell me what methods it had, at least I know that I can collect souls with peace of mind.

As for collecting too many and being discovered by Death, I don't know when that will happen. Besides, maybe by then, I'll be so strong that I won't be afraid of Death?

Since these aren't problems, the next step is to set a small goal for myself and confirm who I want to collect souls from.

Yuma decided that the first one he wanted to deal with was Kingpin!

This guy has been causing trouble since I encountered Abomination.

From the port siege of Abomination to Betty's kidnapping and Tony's attack, he's been involved in all of them.

Besides, this guy has cultivated a large number of smaller Abominations as his subordinates. There were over a hundred that appeared in Afghanistan with Abomination. I don't know how many are still out there.

At this rate, if you give him some time, he might really be able to mass-produce Abominations.

It'll be difficult for me to deal with him then.

So, now, before he succeeds, I have to kill him quickly. His smaller Abominations can contribute a lot of souls to me.

After I deal with Kingpin, I can start preparing to create Arrancar.

Now, the only Espada I can beat are the 7th, 8th, and 9th.

The 7th Espada, I only won because his ability was restrained by Danku. I got lucky.

The 8th Espada, Sārin Apolo Granz, is a bit tricky. You can tell from his name, which means "toying with life in the palm of your hand."

His ability is also quite perverted. After releasing his Resurrección, he splashes a lot of liquid from his back, forming a rain-like attack. Once the liquid attaches to the enemy, it can copy the enemy. The copy has the same ability as the original, but its appearance is slightly different.

His true ability, revealed after releasing his Resurrección, is to wrap his wings around his opponent, obtaining the opponent's doll. He can transfer everything about the opponent to the doll and destroy any part of the opponent's body by destroying the doll.

Besides that, after being injured, he can invade the opponent's body, lay eggs in it, absorb nutrients, and make the opponent give birth to him, achieving rebirth.

Besides that, he's the most skilled researcher in Hueco Mundo. So, if I could get him as a follower, I'd be quite interested, although I don't like him very much.

The 9th Espada, Aaroniero Arruruerie, is relatively easy to deal with.

He's the only Gillian-level Hollow among the Espada. He's not very strong and only has two relatively powerful abilities.

One is that he can evolve infinitely. The other is that he can instantly transmit all the information about his enemy in battle to all his companions.

These two abilities aren't very useful in a one-on-one fight, so I'm very confident in killing him.

As for the top six Espada, I'm drooling, but they're not within my reach now. I'll have to wait until I become stronger.

With my current assets, there's no item in the Exchange Store that I can buy to deal with them.

For the next few days, Yuma focused on waiting for things to end on Tony's side. Once Obadiah Stane died and Tony officially announced that he was Iron Man, Yuma planned to go find Natasha.

To deal with Kingpin, I have no problem with strength, but I need S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intel to cooperate.
