"It's time to eat!" Lucas called out to everyone while helping Munchlax bring the dishes to the table.

Seeing this, the others quickly pitched in, setting out bowls and chopsticks.

When everyone was seated, Kimia awkwardly held the chopsticks and admitted, "These utensils are quite challenging to use."

In the Kalos region, people typically dined with knives and forks—chopsticks were entirely unfamiliar.

"It's actually quite simple. Here, watch me," Lucas demonstrated, showing Kimia, Raleigh, and Flamel the proper technique.

Eager to try, Raleigh grabbed his chopsticks and attempted to pick up some braised eggplant, but after several attempts, he managed to capture only a few drops of vegetable sauce.

Diancie and the others couldn't help but laugh at his struggles. Even Raleigh's own Pokémon, Slurpuff, was amused by his efforts.

Raleigh grew flustered, "Slurpuff, you're laughing at me too? Now I'm getting upset!"

"Slurp~! Slurp~!"

Slurpuff only laughed harder.

At Lucas's suggestion, everyone had released their Pokémon to join the meal. Raleigh had Slurpuff, Flamel had Florges, and Kimia had both Alolan Ninetales and Sylveon alongside Gardevoir.

It was during this dinner that Lucas learned Kimia wasn't merely a princess of the royal family but also an accomplished Pokémon trainer.

Her ambition was to become someone like Queen Anna—able to govern the kingdom with wisdom and protect it with strength.

Watching the three royal guests struggling so comically with their chopsticks, Lucas offered with a sympathetic smile, "Perhaps I should switch to knives and forks for you?"

"Absolutely not!" Kimia refused. "I refuse to be defeated by something as simple as chopsticks." She wasn't one to surrender easily.

Following the princess's lead, Raleigh and Flamel likewise declined the offer of more familiar utensils.

Lucas shook his head with an amused sigh, not pressing the matter further.

"Everyone, please try today's steamed buns. They're different from my usual recipe," Lucas said, offering the milk-infused buns.

Curious, everyone took one with anticipation.

The moment they touched the milk buns, they immediately noticed something special. The texture was extraordinarily soft—like a baby's delicate skin, smooth and yielding beneath their fingers.

Taking a bite, they discovered it was light as a cloud and soft as cotton. The natural wheat aroma intertwined perfectly with the rich notes of Gogoat milk.

After a few chews, everyone experienced a remarkable sensation—as if transported to autumn wheat fields with golden waves rippling in the breeze, celebrating the joy of harvest; as if standing on endless prairies with gentle winds carrying the fresh scent of verdant grass.

One bite, two bites, three bites—each mouthful was a new encounter with exquisite flavor.

"These are incredible," Princess Kimia remarked, staring at her half-eaten bun with a wistful expression. How would she manage without such delicious food in the future?

Raleigh and Flamel wore similar expressions of wonder.

While Lucas's previous steamed buns had certainly been delicious, they were at their best when paired with accompanying dishes. These milk buns, however, were entirely different—Kimia felt she could happily devour ten of them without any accompaniment.

For the Pokémon, the milk buns offered an even more profound experience beyond mere deliciousness.

"Lucas, these buns... they're extraordinary," Diancie tugged at Lucas's sleeve.

"What do you mean?" Lucas asked.

"When I eat them, I can feel waves of energy flowing through me, creating a warm, comfortable sensation throughout my body," Diancie explained.

Munchlax, Gardevoir, Florges, both Sylveons, Ninetales, and Slurpuff all nodded in agreement. Only Komala remained silent, contentedly continuing to savor the bun at its own leisurely pace.

Its actions spoke volumes.

"Is that so?"

Diancie and the others nodded emphatically.

Kimia and the human guests exchanged surprised glances.

Suddenly Lucas had a realization—his system was called the Pokémon Feeding System, not the Feeding System.

"Well then, by all means, enjoy as many as you'd like," Lucas encouraged with a smile.

The Pokémon cheered and enthusiastically continued their meal.

After dinner, everyone sprawled comfortably in their chairs, too full to move. Etiquette and posture had been abandoned in favor of simple comfort—they had indulged far too well.

"Hic~! This is the most delicious meal I've ever experienced," Raleigh declared.

Beyond the buns and dumplings, this was Kimia, Raleigh, and Flamel's first time sampling Lucas's other culinary creations, and they were thoroughly impressed.

Lucas smiled. "Actually, aside from the steamed buns, tonight's dishes were all prepared by Munchlax."

Kimia and the others looked astonished.

"Munchlax, you're truly remarkable."

"You're the most talented Pokémon chef I've ever encountered."

The praise for Munchlax flowed freely and sincerely.

"Munch~! Munch~!" Of course—I was personally trained by my master!

Munchlax accepted the compliments graciously, his face beaming with pride.

Despite the initial chopstick challenges, the meal had been thoroughly enjoyed by both hosts and guests.

Remarkably, by the end of dinner, almost everyone except Kimia had mastered the basics of chopstick use.

Flamel was the first to learn, demonstrating surprising dexterity. While Kimia and Raleigh were still frowning in concentration, she was calmly enjoying her food with perfect technique.

Soon after, Gardevoir, Florges, Raleigh, and Slurpuff learned as well. Even the Sylveons managed to use their ribbons to manipulate the chopsticks effectively. Only Kimia continued to struggle, handling them like a child taking first steps.

Even as the meal concluded, Kimia remained visibly frustrated by her inability to master the chopsticks.

"Your Highness, it's getting late. We should take our leave," Kimia announced after they had rested a while.

Lucas nodded. "Yes, it's best to return before dark for safety. I won't keep you any longer—please visit again whenever you have the opportunity."

Kimia and the others rose, gathering their Pokémon and heading outside. Lucas escorted them all the way to their aircraft, watching as they departed into the sunset before returning home.

Back at the house, Lucas helped Diancie and Munchlax tidy up before they all went upstairs.

Since dinner had been earlier than usual, they weren't in a rush to begin their evening training session.

Diancie settled comfortably on the sofa, watching a drama on her tablet—a recent purchase from the system store.

Now that Lucas had established an identity and installed internet service, Diancie enjoyed watching shows and online shopping during her free time, no longer experiencing the boredom of earlier days.

Munchlax attempted to squeeze beside Diancie to watch with her, but she kept pushing him away, annoyed by his tendency to shout excitedly during dramatic scenes.

"If you want to watch so badly, buy your own tablet. It's not like you don't have money," Diancie complained. After Lucas, Munchlax was the wealthiest member of their household.

At the mere suggestion of spending his own money, Munchlax became immediately alert.

Spend my hard-earned savings? No way!

Lucas couldn't help but laugh. His Munchlax was quite the little miser, rarely spending money unless absolutely necessary, hoarding his earnings instead.

Lucas often wondered what Munchlax was saving for so diligently. Did he expect the household to face food shortages?

"Munch~! Munch~!"

Munchlax hugged Diancie's arm, acting endearingly pitiful.

"Fine, fine. You can watch with me, but I'm warning you—no shouting," Diancie relented, fixing Munchlax with a stern look.

"Munch~!" I promise!

Munchlax covered his mouth solemnly.

"Then come here," Diancie said, trying to look reluctant.

"Munch~!"

Munchlax happily scooted closer, and soon the two Pokémon were whispering intently, seemingly engaged in deep discussion about the plot.

Lucas shook his head with an amused smile, then picked up the peacefully sleeping Komala beside him. Settling comfortably on the sofa, he stroked Komala's soft fur while browsing news on his phone.

Suddenly, a headline caught his attention:

'Teenager Bravely Jumps from Prism Tower to Save Garchomp.' Below was a video.

Lucas opened it and watched a young trainer with a Pikachu and Froakie standing atop Prism Tower, attempting to calm a rampaging Garchomp. The Garchomp kept retreating dangerously close to the edge, appearing on the verge of falling.

Prism Tower, the landmark structure of Lumiose City and home to the city's Gym, towered over 100 meters high.

Fortunately, Froakie used its Frubbles to secure Garchomp's feet to the surface.

At that moment, the young trainer lunged forward, embracing the agitated Garchomp tightly. Pikachu also jumped in, doing something off-camera that eventually helped Garchomp regain its senses.

Then disaster struck—a section of the tower crumbled, and Pikachu plummeted toward the ground.

Without hesitation, the trainer leaped after Pikachu, catching the Pokémon mid-air as they both continued falling.

Just before impact, a sudden flash of light appeared, safely catching both trainer and Pokémon.

The video ended abruptly.

Lucas noted the misleading headline—clearly, the trainer had jumped to save Pikachu, not Garchomp as claimed.

The footage was from Lumiose City, the heart of the Kalos region.

As Lucas studied the young trainer in the video, he fell into deep thought. That looked remarkably like Ash Ketchum! Could it be that he had somehow entered the world of the Pokémon anime?

Help! Lucas realized with mild panic. I've never watched the anime and don't know any of the plot!

After a moment's reflection, however, he relaxed. Well, if I don't know, I don't know. I'll just focus on living well wherever I find myself.

After browsing a while longer, Lucas stood up, still cradling Komala, and called to Diancie and Munchlax, who remained engrossed in their show:

"Time for training, let's go."

"Coming!"

"Munch~!"

Diancie decisively turned off her tablet and descended from the sofa with Munchlax.

Once in the training room, Diancie transformed into a demanding instructor, strictly supervising Lucas and Munchlax's practice.

Tonight's focus was the newly unlocked recipe—Milk Buns.

An hour later, as they emerged from the training room, Munchlax had his head tucked down like a scolded Torchic. Once again, Diancie had put him through an intense training session.

Munchlax cast a resentful glance at Diancie. He strongly suspected she was exacting revenge because earlier, while watching the drama together, he had casually remarked that the Carbink character didn't look appealing and resembled a little old man...

Diancie glared back at Munchlax. "What are you looking at? Aren't you going to clean up and go to bed? Don't you have work tomorrow?!"

Munchlax: =(*)

Lucas didn't intervene this time, feeling that Diancie was being quite fair. Munchlax did tend to make careless remarks.

After training, the family of four retreated to their rooms to prepare for bed.

Before sleeping, Lucas opened his system interface. As expected, all the tasks had been completed. The taskbar displayed:

[Daily Task 1] Train in the Cooking Training Room for 1 hour—Completed, reward to be claimed.

[Daily Task 2] Host 10 Pokémon—Completed, reward to be claimed.

[Temporary Task] Obtain a shop of your own in the Azoth Kingdom—Completed, reward to be claimed.

[Ingredient Acquisition Task] Cooperate with the Gogoat on the Nebel Plateau to obtain Gogoat Milk—Completed, reward to be claimed.

[Recipe Upgrade Task] Upgrade Steamed Buns to Milk Buns using Gogoat Milk—Completed, reward to be claimed.

Looking at the row of completed tasks, Lucas rubbed his hands together in anticipation.

I wonder what rewards I'll receive.

He clasped his hands together and playfully prayed, "May good fortune be with me, turning bad luck into good luck."

With that, he claimed his first two daily task rewards to test his luck.

[Congratulations to the host for receiving the reward: 1 Bay Leaf from Bayleef.]

[Congratulations to the host for receiving the reward: 10 Wiki Berries.]

Lucas: . . .

The rewards weren't useless, exactly, but they weren't particularly exciting either.

He examined the Bay Leaf from Bayleef, and immediately a fresh, aromatic scent filled the room.

Wow! Lucas's eyes brightened instantly. This smells amazing! This reward is better than I thought.

After consideration, he accessed the system store, purchased an elegantly designed pouch, carefully folded the Bay Leaf, and placed it inside.

The system-rewarded Bay Leaf was dried and quite sturdy, showing no damage despite being folded.

Lucas held the pouch to his nose—the leaf's fragrance remained potent and pleasant!

He placed the pouch on his bedside table, planning to give it to Diancie tomorrow, certain she would appreciate it.

Next, Lucas examined one of the Wiki Berries. He'd never seen such large, perfectly formed Wiki Berries before.

He sniffed it curiously, swallowing involuntarily. Should I... try one?

Deciding to indulge, he left his bed, went to the bathroom to wash the berry, and found a knife to slice it into pieces.

Hmm~ Lucas admired the perfectly uniform berry slices with satisfaction. My knife skills have really improved.

Eagerly, he placed a piece in his mouth. Juicy nectar burst across his palate, the crisp flesh and refreshing juice creating a harmonious blend—sweet without being cloying, with a vibrant freshness that exceeded his expectations.

The wild berries from the plateau couldn't compare to this quality!

Soon, Lucas had devoured the entire fist-sized Wiki Berry.

Though tempted to eat another, he restrained himself. I should share these with Diancie and the others tomorrow.

Time to brush my teeth again.

Lucas returned to the bathroom for a second teeth-brushing, then climbed back into bed to continue claiming his task rewards.
