"Good morning, Ma, Pa..."
They echoed in unison as they settled down on their specific dining chairs. Lu Zhi Hao placed Lu Wan Ruyi on her chair before sitting down just beside her. They are always stuck together.
Lu Wan Ruyi first gazed at Lu Zi Zhen, and seeing he was fine, her heart calmed down.
"When did you get back?" Lu Zhi Hao was surprised to see Lu Ting Zhou, who was seated there on the dining chair, but had his head bowed.
"We came back last night together, oooh... And Daddy, we do have an invite to a charity event today, so I don't know if you would wish to attend." Before he could ask too many questions, he diverted his mind to another, different question.
"I will go..." Lu Zi Zhen was the first to respond while the maids served them their favorite breakfast. His plate contained some sandwiches, boiled eggs, sausages, and a cup of soy milk. He has never been picky when it comes to food.
"Stay at home." He was injured, and he still wants to go out there loitering instead of resting?
"We will go together later on." Lu Zhi Hao rarely brought his entire family to these kinds of functions, but since they were going back to their home country, they could attend one or two of these functions before they returned.
Lu Wan Ruyi wanted to decline and stop Lu Zi Zhen from going out, but that silent head shake made her stop. "All right..." She got her sandwiches and began eating. Lu Zhi Hao gently caressed her cheek while serving her some congee. You could see his love and adoration for his woman.
"How was your tour?" Lu Zhi Hao turned his gaze over to his son, even though he was present at the table, his mind didn't seem to be so; he seemed to be preoccupied. He knows his sons very well and could tell something had happened from his body posture. What could have happened?
"It was fine, I think I need more rest." He hoarsely spoke up before getting up and going back to his bedroom. Those words his brother told him still resonate deeply in his heart and mind.
"What's the matter with him?" Mo Zhiqian, looking worried, gazed at Lu Ting Cheng before looking at Lu Wan Ruyi. This morning doesn't feel as usual, it was way quieter and calmer.
"Grandma, you do know how tiring those tours are! You can take some breakfast to him and talk to him." Lu Wan Ruyi could tell something went down between Lu Ting Cheng and his brother, and this wasn't the right time to approach Lu Ting Zhou, even though there were some losses, they could always work hard and earn more money. She gazed at Lu Ting Cheng, but he had this nonchalant look on his face, and for Lu Zi Zhen, he seemed to be in his own world and didn't care about whatever was happening around him.
"Did something happen?" Lu Zhi Hao turned around and gazed at his wife. She was eerily too calm; this has never been her norm. What could have happened?
"Mom, I will go over to the office first, and I will come back later so that we can attend that function together." Lu Ting Cheng got up from his dining chair, walking away over to the door, exiting the mansion.
"I will also go over to the company." Lu Zi Zhen also got up, walking away, exiting the mansion, and soon you could hear the sounds of cars rolling out.
"What's the matter with those two?" Lu Zhi Hao frowned, gazing at his mother. Did something happen while he was away? But they were just fine last night unless something happened while they came back home last night.
