"Let me help you out of that?" Mark said, his voice low and gentle, as he walked over to her with a confident stride. His eyes locked onto the delicate necklace, his fingers reaching out to unhook the clasp.
Gina felt a flutter in her chest as his hand brushed against her skin, sending a tiny heat sensation through her body. She shut her eyes, trying to count down the seconds before Mark stepped back from her, breaking the spell.
But Mark took his time, his fingers lingering on her skin as he carefully unfastened the necklace. Gina's heart raced, her senses heightened, as she felt his warm breath on her neck. She couldn't help but wonder if he was doing it on purpose, if he was trying to make her feel this way.
