After waking up from my nap, I eat a meal, get dressed in one of the outfits I bought earlier, put on my hiking backpack and gloves, and wrap Gleipnir around my arm. Picking up the Jurassic World card, I start to focus my energy on the card, pushing against the door like resistance, slowly making progress, and pushing harder. I'm making more progress, much faster, before suddenly the resistance completely stops and bursts like a broken dam, as if a golden light flashed from the card.
As my vision returned, I saw I was on a tall cliff looking around. I saw a massive volcano far in the distance, with a giant jungle around the west. I can barely see a large mountain range, and to the east I noticed what looks to be a Marsh Swamp Looking behind me, I saw nothing but a small plateau before stopping at a deep ocean with a volcanic island far out there with what appears to be a giant rainbow-collared bird.
After surveying the area, I descended the cliff, following the path to my left. After five minutes, I finally made it down. I started to walk into the jungle. After a minute, I could hear a river to my right. Walking over, I decided to walk alongside it so I could stay near it. After about five minutes, two Gilasurus, small, T. Rex-like monsters, suddenly attacked me. I dodged the first by lunging to the left. The second by sliding under it, jumping up, I launch Gleipnir at the second one before launching a Dragon's gunfire at the first one, with a thunderous explosion causing it to stumble backwards with a part of its chest damaged, losing one of its arms, making it go berserk.
With the second one wrapped up, I decide to finish off the first one by blasting it with two more dragons' gunfire, blowing up its second arm and hitting it right in the face, destroying its left eye and partially blinding it. Then it made one last desperate attempt to hurt me by trying to swing its tail at me. I dodged by jumping to the right, barely avoiding a blast of wind that pushed me back several feet.
I finished off the creature by striking its brain with Raimei. With it dead, I switched to finish off the other one by firing off four Dragons' gunfire, destroying its head without even giving it a chance to break free from Gleipnir. After the second one died, both had their skin and muscles turn into gold dust and be absorbed into my left pocket, leaving behind just a skeleton and a light blue wisp.
As I sat there absorbing what happened, I heard some rustling coming from the bushes. Turning around, I saw a Soul-Eating Oviraptor. As it saw me, it stopped and looked at me, then at the blue wisp with a hint of longing. "Hey, little guy, I will let you have those souls in exchange for making a deal with me. You can also have all the others I leave in the future," I said, holding out for Gleipnir to accept the deal. After the creature looked between me and the souls one last time, it placed both of its small hands on Gleipnir. A flash of gold light sealed the pact. A stream of gold light left Souleating Oviraptor and went into the same pocket as the Gilasaurus from earlier.
Afterwards it rushed over and ate both of the souls with a beaming smile—well, as much of a smile as a dinosaur could—and with a satisfied burp, it ran back over to me and just stood by my side. "Do you know of a hidden cave where I can set up base before it gets dark?" I asked in a friendly tone after that; it tilted its head in thought before running off down the path. I began running after it. After ten minutes, we arrived at a pretty, hidden cave right behind a couple of fallen redwood trees.
Slipping inside, it is surprisingly clean. I decided to go deeper into the cave to avoid being surprised by anything at the entrance. After walking another five minutes, I found a small passage to the left leading to a small alcove. Using two stalactites, I hung my hammock up. After going back outside, I gathered some dry wood to use for cooking a small fire before returning to my camping spot. I made the decision to return outside and do a little more exploring after removing everything.
Putting the bag back on slightly lighter than before going outside, I use Gleipnir to strike the tree, leaving a mark to find my way back later. After walking north for about 20 minutes to explore the area around the volcano, I come across a giant skull adorned with numerous horns. Upon closer inspection, it appears that the new fusion monster emerged just weeks prior to my demise. Putting my hand on it, a lot of gold energy comes rushing out of it and into my pocket. Again, walking further, I come across a large fissure. Looking over the edge, I can't see the bottom because of how deep it is.
Moving a fallen tree over, I and Slayer work together to lift and topple it, creating a makeshift bridge to cross the fissure. After crossing the makeshift bridge, I continue to travel through the jungle and finally reach the foot of the volcano, where I find the corpses of a giant Mighty Dino King Rex and a Double-Headed Dino King Rex. Both look to have died fighting together against another monster. As I get closer, both dissolve into gold dust and enter my pocket, but this time it's different.
I can feel their anger toward the creature that killed them. In the background, I see the two monsters they were fighting. One is a red T-Rex with a skull-like helmet, and its rough skin is blood red and black. It is standing in the lava of the volcano, getting ready to attack. The second one is a giant T. Rex with a pink underbelly, and the rest of it looks to be an older or evolved version of the first one.
After seeing the memories, I noticed that it was getting dark, so I returned to my cave. When I got there, I started a small fire and warmed up some water for a meal, with Oviraptor staying by my side, curled up on the ground, watching me intently. After eating, I still hadn't tried it, so I decided to go and explore deeper into the cave.
Hanging up my tarp to hide my alcove, picking up the flashlight, I start to head deeper in. About five minutes later, I come across some weird music with an alluring sound. Following it down the tunnel, as I got closer, my mind finally translated what the music was trying to communicate: it was something looking for a new master and its other half.
Walking further, I could start to see a dark orange glow on the cavern wall. As I rounded the corner, skeletal hands held up an orange diamond-shaped gem on a stone pedestal. On the cave floor surrounding the gem were several dinosaur bones from various species. Blue smoke began to reanimate the dinosaur bones as I approached, without any delay. I launched Gleipnir at the skull-like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, blasting a hole right in it, but it wasn't enough. The skeleton still got up and launched into a rampage, trying to gore me with its horns.
With no way to get out of the way, I raise my palm out towards it, activating the Negate Attack, creating a spiral energy barrier blocking the attack, but I can still feel the force pushing me back Afterward, I hear the sound of small, sharp claws running behind me, but I have no time to waste on that threat, so I retaliate by launching Gleipnir at the creature, wrapping it around its neck, and sending Raimei down the leash to amplify the lightning. As it made it to the monster, the creature started to convulse and smoke, struggling to hold itself together. A minute later, Souleating Oviraptor appeared and jumped on it and started to absorb the blue energy from the monster, weakening it further.
As it did, the monster started to shake violently, trying to throw the oviraptor off of itself, not giving it the chance to pull on Gleipnir with all my strength, starting to separate the skull from the body, but I'm not strong enough. Then, two ghostly arms reached out from behind me, grabbed onto Gleipnir, and pulled alongside me, finally ripping the skull off with a loud pop. This action killed the creature and caused the rest of its skeleton to crumble back into a pile of bones. Looking behind me, Slayer gives me a thumbs-up before fading back into my deck.
Oviraptor jumped around happily after eating the rest of the soul of the monster, then gold dust rushed into my pocket, and the bones crumbled into bone dust. Walking up to the gem, I reached out, and the song changed into a joyful one as it latched onto the back of my left glove, radiating a warm feeling into my hand. After a minute, I headed in the direction of the Marsh Swamp. I'll go there in a day or two after seeing the volcano and jungle. Walking back to my alcove where my camp was set up, I washed up and lay down for the night.
Waking up, I see Octhros sleeping on my chest, snoring happily, just sitting there for a few minutes thinking up some plans for the day. I finally get up, and he returns to his card, making some breakfast and getting ready. I make my way back to the volcano from yesterday. I start to explore around where I found the corpses and stumble across some more fossils, one of which looks like the skull of a Mosasaurus, which also gave off the gold dust.
As I walked around the volcano, I found some obsidian deposits and some large geodes I collected a few as keepsakes as I got to the top, I found the corpse of the second monster from Mighty Dino King Rex looks like it succumbed to the wounds it got in the fight, with multiple bite wounds, a broken leg, and a gouged-out eye. After studying the wounds, I could feel a wave of satisfaction come from my pocket before turning to announce as gold and pink dust flew into the same pocket.
From above, I saw Ultimate Tyranno eating in a clearing it must have made, likely because it's one of the stronger monsters in this world. Looking up, I'm suddenly filled with dread because right next to the moon is a giant meteor I could never forget from my past life just from the look and the PTSD it gave some of the combo player's Nibiru, the primal being, and from the looks of it, I might only have a day or two left to explore before it hits, wiping this area out.
As I descend the volcano, I begin heading towards the marsh swamp. On my way, I come across some Sabersauruses resting in their nest. Luckily, I was able to walk by without angering them. I even collected some gold dust while walking by them. After getting past them, I had to sneak past a herd of Black Brachios and Black Stegos. I went past them and discovered a tiny tree grove tucked away in a narrow gorge. Setting up camp for the night, I hear two thundering roars coming my way.
Getting to the top of the gorge, I find that the first dinosaur from the memories is being chased by Black Tyranno. S Seeing an opportunity to accomplish two tasks simultaneously, I unleashed Spellbinding Circle on it, causing it to halt abruptly. S Upon recognizing its immobility, it began to flail in an attempt to break free. With Tyranno catching up, it had no choice but to try and fight as both started to fight, I decided to observe their fight with gnashing teeth, pulling chunks of flesh from each other, then scratching with sharp claws, rending flesh, gouging eyes, and cutting tendons It was a bloody fight. If this was a duel in the human world, Black Tyranno should have already won with it having more attack, but here it's all more different.
After a minute, the fight finally finished with Black Tyranno the winner, with a mighty roar announcing its triumph. I didn't let that slide and launched Shield Crush, a massive green laser blast that pierced through Black Tyranno's heart, destroying its spine and causing it to collapse to the ground with a loud thud. Going over to the two different bodies, the first turns to gold dust, but for the first time, nothing comes from Black Tyranno's body.
Since I won't get that dust, I took some of its undamaged teeth, made them into daggers, and started skinning it with Slayer. The procedure took the rest of the day, but when it finished, all the skin and useful bones turned into gold light and flew into one of my backpack pockets. When I opened that pocket, I found that the only item inside was the Jurassic World field spell. I felt that if I retraced my steps, it would lead me home.
Putting the card back, I get dinner ready and start to relax. I need to think of other cards to absorb more magic and how to make my own without having to find more cards, and I need to find a second weapon apart from Gleipnir. With that final thought, I went to bed for the night.
Waking up, I get changed, finish breakfast, and pack up the camp. Before looking up, I see I only have about twelve hours before Nibiru hits, so I must get to Marsh Swamp before that. I started to hike at a brisk pace. Half an hour later, I came across a group of Destroyersauruses. Not wanting to waste any time, Slayer materialized and helped me finish them off fast before we continued on our way.
Running through the last remnants of the jungle, I made it to the edge of the marsh swamp. Standing on the edge, I can tell the water is about 6 feet deep, and I can see several large bugs and some larger snakes, and of course, just like my home state of Florida from my past life, there are swamp puppies (alligators) observing vegetation. Most of the trees are either mangrove or pine trees. I can swing from branch to branch with Gleipnir, hopefully avoiding most of the monsters and finding the other gem. I can feel it is closer to the center of the area.
As I travel closer to the center, I can feel the ground shaking as something massive moves through the swamp. Looking around, I can just about see the head of Ultimate Tyranno above the trees, heading in the same direction as me. Did they also want the gem?
I swing even faster, avoiding flying insects, and eventually reach the clearing in the middle of the marsh swamp where a purple-glow meteor is visible. However, before I can get close, I see a huge dragonfly fly, and then the meteor sends out a pulse of energy that turns the dragonfly into dust. The thunderous stomps returned as Ultimate Tyranno emerged from the swamp. Spotting the meteor, it started to run towards it, seeing that I thought it would die just like the dragonfly. Instead, it wasn't affected at all and just ate the meteor!
After a minute it let out a deafening roar of pure agony and pain as purple energy started to burst out of it like lightning, and its closed feet grew bigger and stronger with purple orbs forming on its skin where the energy leaked from. Then it finally clicked: it set the meteor with the gem inside to grow stronger and evolve into Ultimate Conductor Tyranno.
After it finished, it stomped its foot, sending out a powerful shockwave, causing Slayer to lower his stance and move his scythe-like appendages in front of himself and Oviraptor to lower and turn to the side while I was forced to crouch down to stay standing. It then let out an earth-shaking roar of pride in its evolution before looking at us with hungry eyes.
This is going to be a tough fight. I can just feel it…
