In front of him Lunethra was breathing rather heavily, but not from exhaustion but rather from anger.
Despite the steam she had just blown, the hate in her eyes didn't dwindle down but instead seems to have increase.
"Calculating damage". The same genderless stiff voice rang out again.
Zephyr took a good look at her, he could see the erratic rising and falling of her chest, he see the intense heat of hate that seems to want to bore into his soul.
The environment weren't faring much better, the ground and nearby walls were blackened from the intense heat.
Zephyr breathing was rather uneven, not to be dramatic but for a minute there he thought that he was going to die.
His breath came out short and ragged, his finger trembling as he prepared to invoke his art. His body ached from the pain she inflicted on him with her golden light. Then she turned, walked away and headed back to her bed.
"The victim has several burns and has lost his clothes due to collateral damage".
"Please head to the infirmary and get treated and a new set of clothes will be delivered to your dorm".
Zephyr blinked when he heard that the victim lost his clothes to collateral damage, he immediately looked at himself then sighed in relief when he saw his clothes still intact— his clothes had several burn holes in them and on his body mostly on his hand and legs were filled with wounds that seems to have been cauterized.
He grunted a little as he moved to pick up his uniform, every movement caused agonizing pain to flow through his body, he turned to the position he last caught sight of his uniform and he didn't see any thing there.
All he saw were some flake of ash, and then the words of the genderless voice rang out in his mind.
"The victim has several burns and has lost his clothes to collateral damage".
The clothes the voice referred to was the uniform he brought along side him to the dorm.
Then without waiting for anything else he turned and walked out of the dorm, heading towards the infirmary, lucky for him his phone was in his pocket and was unaffected by the lights.

The infirmary's sleek, modern design boasted a stunning glass facade that seemed to shimmer in the light. The building's curved lines and minimalist aesthetic gave it a sense of serenity, while the lush greenery surrounding it added a touch of natural beauty.
Inside, the infirmary was just as impressive. The high ceilings and expansive windows that allowed natural light to pour in, illuminating the pristine white walls and floors. The airy lobby featured a dramatic atrium, with a living wall of greenery that seemed to stretch up to the sky.
State-of-the-art medical equipment and high grade Aether technology were seamlessly integrated into the infirmary's design, ensuring that patients received the best possible care. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with large windows offering breathtaking views of the surrounding schoolscape.
Throughout the infirmary, artwork and soothing colors created a calming atmosphere, helping to ease the anxiety and stress that often accompanied medical treatment. The infirmary's design was a perfect blend of form and function, prioritizing both the physical and emotional well-being of its patients.
But as of now all these were non of Zephyr business.
"What do you mean you can't heal me". Zephyr had arrived a few minutes ago but the school nurse seems hellbent on not healing him.
"You heard what I said, I am not healing you". The beautiful face of the school nurse was currently twisted into an expression filled with hate and disgust.
"Why!". Zephyr was so angry his body trembled all over, it took all he had not to attack her right there. His body was currently aching from pain, the light Lunethra shone on him and left a scar of pain that didn't seem to want to go away and now the nurse was refusing to help him.
"Isn't it obvious, you're nasty and disgusting, a very repulsive creature I wonder how you got into this academy in the first place". She retorted, her words sinking deep into his mind like dagger would to a flesh.
She proceeded to walk away and shut the door with a bang, leaving Zephyr alone in the white room with nothing but his thoughts.
'And to think this was supposed to be an academy'.
Zephyr stat there on the bed, rooted to the spot, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white. He stared at the door that the nurse had slammed shut, disbelief and fury churning in his gut like a storm. Her words echoed in his mind, jagged and painful.
"Nasty and disgusting…repulsive creature."
His chest rose and fell with each ragged breath, the pain from his burns flaring with every heartbeat. A fresh wave of agony seared through his limbs, forcing him to grit his teeth to keep from crying out. He glanced down at his hands, the skin mottled with charred burns and flecks of ash still clinging stubbornly to the edges of his wounds. It was as if the light from Lunethra still lingered, burning away at his injuries.
Zephyr took a deep breath, fighting back the surge of emotion that threatened to overwhelm him. He had been prepared for animosity—for the hostile gaze he would bear from the students but he didn't consider the adult to show such hatred.
Hatred so blatant, so unfiltered that it bled from her eyes when she looked at him. A hate that didn't just stem from his past but towards his entire being.
His jaw clenched. It would have been so easy to break something—to let the simmering rage inside him boil over. But rage was a luxury he couldn't afford. Not now. Not when he was still aching, still bleeding, still vulnerable. He needed to get patched up, and clearly, this infirmary wasn't going to be of any help.
He stood up only for a package of bandage to catch his eyes, with grunts escaping from his mouth he took the bandage then began to wrap them around his body.
He first looked the door from the inside then took off his clothes, he proceeded to wrap the bandage on where it hurt the most— his right thigh. As soon as he wrap it he felt a cooling sensation spread through out the wound, he almost lat out a moan as his visibly tense body loosened up.
Then with greater valor he wrapped his body in bandage then wore his clothes. He rested on the bed for a while then stood up to leave, the cooling sensation of the bandage seems to have wore off, it seems to have a time limit.
Zephyr stared at the remaining package of the bandages for a while before deciding.
"You know what I am keeping it". He muttered under his breath as he took the bandage under custody.
With a grimace, Zephyr turned and walked back toward the door, his movements stiff and deliberate. Every step sent dull yet sharp jolts of pain through his nerves, but he refused to stop. Not yet. He pushed the door open and stepped back outside, the cool breeze brushing his pain sensitive skin, drawing a sharp hiss from his lips.
