Chapter 2 - knowing the objective

The moment I understood my purpose, I felt an indescribable emotion seize my heart, something that compelled me to approach her. Something immensely dangerous, considering that it could cause trouble if she realized I was staring at her.

Forcing me to look away from her to try to get through the entrance, which she was waiting to the side of, presumably waiting for someone, which I hope isn't what she's doing.

On the other hand, the universe has to balance the scales somehow. If I find my soulmate, of course I'd be waiting for someone, a guy, and a handsome one at that. What could make my situation worse?

"Sir.C, amelia, do you want to be late for your first day of high school?"

Please, Nataly, we arrived ten minutes before the doors closed. That should be enough, right? Isn't it like we should arrive half an hour early? We'd still be inside by the time everything started.

Okay, maybe that guy, sir.C, isn't so bad after all. At least he gave me the name of my soulmate. That will help me learn more about her so I can get closer and fulfill my purpose.

Thinking that staying any longer might put me in an awkward position and make a bad first impression, I put my curiosity aside and moved on to finish high school.

Looking for a secluded spot, which I found without much trouble, I pulled out my phone to search for names I'd heard, something I initially failed at due to the large number of people who share that name, something I expected considering the world's population.

Fortunately, I solved it by narrowing the search to my city, and that was it: Nataly Whisp, the daughter of a fairly successful entrepreneur from a food production company.

Out of curiosity, I checked out the other girl Sir C was accompanying, whom I hadn't paid attention to, which was a good decision. Amelia Sherry, the daughter of a shareholder who owns a significant portion of Aurum, a prominent trading company, makes her a very important figure.

photos that he shared with Nataly, apparently they were friends for at least 3 years by the date on which the photo was published: sir.c or rather with Cesar, another son of an important figure in a company, this time the company focuses on the technology sector.

These recent discoveries filled me with conflicting feelings. On the one hand, I was immensely happy to learn more about Nataly, but on the other, I realized how difficult it would be to even approach her, let alone form a romantic relationship. I'd have to go through many checkups and even more tests.

Of course, those weren't problems they had to face now, so we'll put them aside for the moment and focus on the closest problem, presentation.

Something for which I didn't have much time considering that the ten minutes were up and it was time to go to the place where the welcome for the new students would take place, thinking about how I would present myself and what I could do to not ruin it.
