Chapter 429 - Chapter 0425: The Teleportation Array

On a vast grassland.

Clusters of Mongolian yurts stood tall.

Large numbers of herders were tending sheep and cattle, raising majestic horses—each of them incredibly massive. Around them patrolled cavalry dressed in strange attire, adorned with bone ornaments, wielding curved blades and longbows, riding warhorses.

These cavalrymen displayed exceptional riding skills, able to charge into battle as soon as they mounted. They were undoubtedly elite horsemen—the most terrifying butchers of the battlefield.

Inside a golden yurt, a middle-aged man stepped out. He exuded a commanding presence, a golden blade at his waist, eyes as sharp as a hawk's. His aura was overwhelming as he looked up at the sky—where a mirage appeared before his eyes.

In that mirage were scenes of bustling prosperity, rare delicacies, and a palace-like splendor.

Clang!

Suddenly, he drew the golden blade with a swift motion, pointing it toward the illusory city in the sky, declaring loudly:"One day, I will drink within that city and share glory and wealth with all the warriors. That land shall become the territory of my Golden Clan."

"Great Khan is wise! These prosperous lands shall sooner or later belong to our Great Mongol Tribe!"The surrounding generals all responded respectfully in unison.

Elsewhere, on a hidden island in a lake, stood a palace surrounded by exotic flora, dense forests, and intoxicating floral fragrance. The palace itself was stunning—radiating an ethereal charm, like the Moon Palace in Heaven, otherworldly and proud.

A woman in white palace robes gazed into the sky.

Suddenly, a crescent moon mark flashed on her forehead. Her expression changed."Scoundrel. So you're not dead… and you even have time to indulge in pleasure. Do you think this Empress is that easy to trifle with?"

"Big Sister, is someone you know in there? Someone from the World's Number One Martial Tournament? Is it a man? Who is he?"A girl as radiant as a starlight sprite appeared beside her, eyes sparkling with curiosity as she peered at the mirage.

She knew full well that on several occasions, her sister had cursed in her sleep—something that had never happened before. This all started after she returned from the World's Number One Martial Tournament. She had tried asking but had been scolded harshly, so she didn't dare ask again.

"Hmph!!"

Yao Yue flung her sleeve and turned to leave.

"Where are you going, Sister?"

"Seclusion!"

Mirages like this began to appear in multiple regions—not only among the human race, but also among other races. All the young prodigies of various clans witnessed them. Although the location wasn't revealed, Xuanhuang City's name spread far and wide across the Eternal Continent.

And this fame arose without Yi Tianxing even realizing it, not even aware that his appearance had already been burned into countless minds.

Back in Xuanhuang City, the night banquet continued as usual.

The banquet brought joy to all, immersed in gourmet delicacies. For a time, people even forgot Yi Tianxing's identity and dropped their guard, chatting and eating merrily. The gathering only ended in the early hours before dawn. The many village lords left, returning to their homes and immediately began refining the energy of the dishes they had eaten.

Even though much of the spiritual energy would be lost, some remained in their flesh and blood—enough to raise their cultivation.

The events of the banquet quickly became hot gossip, spreading throughout the city.

Soon after, those village lords left Xuanhuang City to spread news of allegiance back to their villages. They brought word that their people could now go to Xuanhuang City, gain access to free techniques from the Scripture Pavilion, and receive a Heaven Registration Card, gaining the same status as Xuanhuang citizens.

Once the message got out, it caused excitement and loud cheers among the villagers.

Time passed swiftly.

In the blink of an eye, a month had gone by.

During this time, although many villages had pledged allegiance to Xuanhuang City, due to infrastructure issues, not many had arrived. Only a few regular travelers between villages and the city had registered and received their cards. Some had even become cultivators after obtaining techniques from the Scripture Pavilion—causing a huge stir.

One day—

At the center of Xuanhuang City, near the Sacred Tree Palace, Yi Tianxing, Master Lu, Huang Chengyan, Hu Bin, and others gathered.

They stood around a massive elevated platform, covered in mysterious runes, engraved along intricate paths. It looked like it was carved from jade-like stone.

"This is the teleportation array," Yi Tianxing said, eyes flashing with interest.

A month earlier, he had placed the teleportation array blueprint into the Scripture Pavilion. Lu Master accessed the blueprint and began forging it.

It had taken a full month of nonstop effort.

Though Master Lu was skilled in many crafts—particularly mechanisms and formations—he had never worked on something this complex before. It took many failures to finally produce this platform.

"It can only be called a small teleportation array," Lu said, shaking his head.

According to the blueprint, teleportation arrays were divided into four tiers: Heaven, Earth, Black, and Yellow.

This was only a Yellow-grade array, meaning it could teleport up to 10,000 li. Black-grade arrays could span a million li, Earth-grade up to ten million li, and Heaven-grade distances were immeasurable.

"With my current skill, I can only forge a Yellow-grade array, and likely a weaker one at that. Some runes I still don't fully grasp. But thanks to the Void Divine Crystal my lord provided, I embedded it within the array to enhance its power. It might even go beyond 10,000 li."

Forging this kind of array was far more complex than ordinary artifacts or weapons.

It required drawing runes in exact order and placement. Any mistake rendered the entire array disc unusable.

Lu had failed dozens if not hundreds of times.

The array disc, or platform, was forged from a large amount of Bone Crystal.

"Even a Yellow-grade array is enough for our current needs," Yi Tianxing said reassuringly. "Lu Master's contribution is immense. Once your skills grow, you'll surely craft stronger ones."

"The array needs energy to activate. There are 100 energy sockets that must be filled with crystals to power it. Only energy crystals—condensed from pure heaven and earth energy—can sustain it. The more people transported, the greater the consumption. It can teleport up to 100 people, but that would require 100 Black Iron-grade crystals."

"I'll give it a try."

Yi Tianxing nodded.

Crystals were placed in the sockets.

He stepped onto the platform.

The moment his foot touched it, he felt himself enter a separate space, cut off from the outside world.

In his mind, he sensed a void realm—vast, empty, boundless.

"Could this be the void space formed by the Void Divine Crystal? There's no coordinate here…"

He immediately realized a crucial point: without a teleportation coordinate, transmission was impossible. Without a destination, one would be cast into spatial turbulence—and torn to shreds.

Even if one survived, they'd be hopelessly lost.

According to the blueprint, a teleportation array needed coordinates, and the Void Divine Crystal could detect and record them.

Its power, upon activation, would scan an area equal to the array's teleportation range, automatically locating other arrays and storing their coordinates.

The stronger the array, the wider the scan range.
