Chapter 325 - Chapter 0321: Kongxu Strikes

The Yin-Yang Mirror could be called a top-tier defying divine ability. Its power was so formidable that, once shone upon, it could dictate life and death in an instant. As long as the target's cultivation realm was not significantly higher than Yi Tianxing's own, and not beyond the mirror's range, they could not escape its deadly grip. Without a treasure capable of suppressing the soul or true spirit, once struck by the Yin-Yang Mirror, one would almost inevitably meet their end.

The mirror already contained a law of life and death, rooted in the duality of yin and yang.

It didn't directly obliterate the soul upon impact. Instead, it sealed the target's soul and true spirit with the pure yin death force within. This separated the soul from the body, cutting off its support. Without the body, all vitality within the soul would naturally dissipate, replaced by the cold aura of death. That deathly power would then slowly tear the soul into fragments. At the beginning of this process, the victim wasn't technically dead, but with the passage of time, their spirit would be completely annihilated.

Normally, if a living being struck by the Yin-Yang Mirror didn't die instantly, they could be resurrected by shining the white side after being killed by the black side. However, this had to be done within a specific time frame. If the soul had already dispersed, or worse, been completely shattered, then resurrection was no longer possible.

At this moment, if Yi Tianxing so desired, he could resurrect the fallen two-headed ogre. But he would never do that. To him, only dead aliens are good aliens—the living must all die.

Still, despite its overwhelming might, the Yin-Yang Mirror came with great energy consumption. If someone moved fast enough, they could dodge the divine light it emitted and avoid death altogether.

"No! The chief can't be dead! This can't be real!"

"He died at the hands of the humans! Break through the city and avenge him!"

"Kill! Leave no human alive!!"

The scene of the two-headed ogre collapsing on the ground immediately ignited an uncontrollable fury among the ogres. Their eyes turned bloodshot as they howled in rage, descending into madness.

Kill! Kill! Kill!!

The ogres had lost all reason. The only thought in their minds was to slaughter all humans in sight and avenge their fallen leader.

"Spears!!"

Upon seeing the two-headed ogre die in such an eerie manner, the Frost Wolf King was visibly shaken. With a sharp command, the wolfmen behind him each pulled out short throwing spears, radiating lethal intent.

"Throw!!"

With another command, the sky was suddenly filled with flashing spears. Each shot through the air like lightning, their fierce edges shrieking through the wind.

Hundreds, even thousands of spears darkened the sky like a cloud of death.

"Shields!!"

The soldiers atop the city wall responded immediately. Shields were raised in unison. Each shield shimmered with golden light, forming a solid barrier. Spears clanged against them, the light flickering but not breaking.

Swoosh!!

Suddenly, a piercing sound cut through the air. A single ice-blue spear streaked forward like a comet. Wherever it passed, the air turned to frost, snowflakes flurried, and the spear—entirely formed from a strange crystalized ice—glimmered like glass, ancient runes etched into its surface.

Boom!!

The spear struck one shield directly, and what followed was a terrifying sight. The golden light on the shield shattered like a bubble. The soldier behind it had no time to react. The spear pierced his chest, and a layer of ice instantly spread over his body. Frozen solid, he shattered upon impact with the ground, exploding like an ice sculpture.

Nearby soldiers were struck by the intense cold.

"What a terrifying spear… Not only does it pierce armor, but it carries a chilling, lethal cold."

The expressions of many cultivators on the wall turned grim. Even their shields couldn't hold back such power.

"You alien filth, you invaded Xuanhuang Town and slaughtered our people. Your crimes deserve death!"

Huang Chengyan stepped forward, eyes blazing as he stared down the Frost Wolf King. With a mighty shout, a snow-white ancient sword burst from his tongue, slashing toward the wolf king. The sword radiated righteousness and seemed to summon the will of heaven and earth, soaring like a comet across the sky.

"Kill!!"

The Frost Wolf King didn't hesitate. Grabbing another spear, he hurled it like a meteor. With a loud clang, the two weapons collided mid-air. The spear shattered instantly, and the ancient sword was knocked flying, cracks rapidly spreading across its blade.

"Die!!"

Yi Tianxing once again activated the Yin-Yang Mirror, releasing a beam of black light toward the Frost Wolf King.

"That strange mirror again!"

The wolf king, sensing imminent death, instinctively looked up. His heart filled with terror—he had witnessed the mirror's power firsthand. Without hesitation, he grabbed a nearby wolfman warrior and threw him into the beam's path.

"My King!!"

The wolfman's shocked scream was cut short. Caught in the black beam, his face froze in shock before his body stiffened and fell lifeless to the ground. He had been killed instantly.

"Such a ruthless mirror," the Frost Wolf King muttered, sucking in a breath of cold air.

"So cruel. Truly the cold-hearted nature of an alien," Yi Tianxing sneered.

Indeed, the Yin-Yang Mirror was terrifying, but the black light could only strike one target at a time. The wolf king's method of using a sacrificial body to block it was a cunning countermeasure.

As long as there were others around to die in your place, you could survive the mirror's fatal light.

Of course, this only worked under specific conditions. Against those of higher cultivation, the mirror could still kill instantly before such tricks could be used.

"Let this young master test the Frost Wolf King's abilities."

Suddenly, a crisp voice echoed atop the city wall. A pale young man in white robes, waving a folding fan with a confident smile, stepped forward—it was Lord Kongxu (Void Prince).

A treasure box floated before him. As it opened, nine miniature swords were revealed, each the size of a chopstick, but glowing with unique divine auras.

Waving his fan, Kongxu sighed:

"Ah, as a fellow human, how can I sit idly by while aliens slaughter our towns? Lord Yi may be strong, but as a city lord, he shouldn't risk himself lightly. This wolf shall be handled by me."

Without waiting for Yi Tianxing's approval, Kongxu reached toward the swords.

The Nine Divine Swords:

Execution Sword (诛仙剑)

Godslayer Sword (杀神剑)

Buddha-Extinguishing Sword (灭佛剑)

Demon-Subduing Sword (伏魔剑)

Monster-Suppressing Sword (降妖剑)

Saint-Slaying Sword (斩圣剑)

Soul-Chasing Sword (追魂剑)

Soul-Seizing Sword (夺魄剑)

Army-Breaking Sword (破军剑)

Each radiated an aura of a world treasure.

"Go!!"

With a flick, he sent the Soul-Chasing Sword (追魂剑) soaring through the air. The moment it left the box, it rapidly expanded to full size, flying toward the Frost Wolf King with incredible speed.

The sword's name carried its intent: "Chase the soul". Once launched, it locked onto the target's energy and closed the distance in an instant.

"Kill!!"

The Frost Wolf King roared, his body glowing as an ice-blue aura ring appeared around him. Three small frost stars spun rapidly around his body, radiating intense chill. He threw another spear, hoping to intercept the sword.

But to everyone's shock, the Soul-Chasing Sword swerved in midair, dodging the incoming spear with unnatural agility, before accelerating again—heading straight for the Frost Wolf King's body.
