It naturally works well with chakra, as they have affinity for chakra.
But Chakra Metal is very rare.
Any sword made with it costs a lot.
Kaiji had already asked Daichi, the weapon shop owner, about it.
Daichi told him that Sunagakure did have such weapons.
However, they only had about 10-15% Chakra Metal in them.
They were still expensive, lower one starts from 300,000 ryo to Millions of ryo.
Even the two good swords Kaiji took from the bandits were only worth around 100,000 ryo together.
Kaiji had saved some extra money, earned from missions.
He decided to sell those two swords to Daichi as well and buy one Chakra Blade.
He knew that even with only 10% Chakra Metal, they were much stronger than normal swords and weapons.
He understood how rare Chakra Metal truly is.
Even swords used by Samurai from the Land of Iron might not have a few swords made fully of Chakra Metal.

He said, "I thought it might take you some time to get that much money."
"Well, some missions paid well, so I saved enough," Kaiji shrugged.
"Well that's good for you, anyways, I already took that sword out specifically, just for you, kid." Daichi also shrugged and took out the long sword, which was crafted with some Chakra Metal.
"Here you go," the shop owner said, placing the silver long sword with a dark handle in front of Kaiji.
Kaiji picked it up slowly.
He noticed, "It's a little heavier than those two."
"Well, of course, as I told you before, Chakra Metal is very rare and powerful metal," Daichi explained.
"Even finding one blade with 50% Chakra Metal is very hard."
"Well, thank you," Kaiji said, delightly.
After paying and putting the sword in his storage scroll, he exit the shop.
"Huu, now the only task left before start practicing Iryo Ninjutsu is getting some scrolls of sealing techniques for more practice."
He take a deep, cleansing breath and moved toward his next stop, the Sealing Department.

He saw no guards outside and went inside without any trouble.
Sunagakure's Fūinjutsu Department was a group of sand-colored buildings made of thick adobe walls.
Their thin, narrow windows kept the insides cool.
A large canvas awning gave shade at the main door.
A faint chakra hum in the air hinted at the protective sealing designs built into its very base.
Inside, quiet workshops and safe storage rooms filled the space.
Heavy, ink-stained tables were in the main rooms, surrounded by shelves packed with scrolls, sealing tags, and different tools.
The only sounds were the soft clink and swish of things as ninja carefully practiced their complex art.
Kaiji felt something when he went inside, but he did not understand what it was.
He thought that might some barrier or detection sealing jutsu, he passed through.
But just as he entered, two figures, wearing standard Chunin attire with vests, appeared right in front of him.
"Huh, a Genin. Why is a Genin here for?" one asked the other Chunin in confusion.
Kaiji was a little surprised by their sudden appearance.
But he quickly got over his shock and bowed to greet them.
He said, directly stating his purpose, "Hello, I am Kaiji, a Genin from the Genin Corps department. I am here to ask for scrolls about sealing techniques."
"Oh, is that it?" the first Chunin spoke. "Well, I will talk with him. You can go."
He said to the other Chunin, who nodded and went back at once.
"So, tell me, are you here to join the Sealing Department?" the Chunin asked, looking back at Kaiji.
Kaiji shook his head and said, "No, I just want scrolls about sealing techniques onl—"
"Listen, Kaiji, this is not how it works," the Chunin said, cutting Kaiji in between his talk.
His face turned serious right away and he said, "I don't know where you heard that you can learn Sealing Jutsu like that. But either you have to join and become a Sealing Ninja,
Or you should just work on becoming a strong Shinobi in general Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. You cannot do both at the same time."
Kaiji's eyes grew wide in shock and thought, 'Huh, why not? I even got Medical Ninjutsu scrolls like that.'
Kaiji tried to persuade that Chunin into it, but he failed to do so.
With slumped shoulders, he left the Fūinjutsu department.
"Man, what was that about? Why do I need to join Fuinjutsu department just to learn few sealing jutsus," Kaiji said after leaving the department, also cursing that Chunin.
"Even that blue-haired kunoichi from the medical department, Akane, gave me Medical Ninjutsu scrolls and just said I had to learn by myself."
He then sighed and mumbled, "Looks like I have to find some other way."
