The Masked Alpha teleported back to the throne room of the castle, and saw Zircon who was kneeling right in front of the throne the whole time.
The Masked Alpha swept a glance at his surroundings and didn't see anything wrong. So he asked his beta, "You know that you can only shatter the crystal if there is something urgent, right?"
"There is—I mean, there was something urgent, Your Majesty. Everyone in the castle saw a bright light, followed by a loud explosion in the garden. It's so loud that the ground was shaking for a second," Zircon reported. "I just came back from checking the royal garden and found no trace of battle. But the marble statue of swan and wolf is gone, Your Majesty."
"Gone?!"
"Yes, there is no trace of the marble statue at all, just the pillar."
The Masked Alpha frowned behind the mask. He wouldn't budge if Zircon said that he found the statue destroyed because it was he who destroyed the statue of his parents.
