'HUSBAND!' Elder Duckling panicked when she noticed the weakening body of her husband.
'I'm fine,' the wolf pup brushed off the attack. 'I can still protect the two of you for now!'
Again, Odette was too stunned to react. Her legs trembled as she realized this person who attacked her twice must've really wanted her dead or badly hurt.
The wolf pup looked back at Odette and scolded, 'You, little girl, pull yourself together! Whoever attacked us just now has no intention to make peace!'
"B-but—"
The third magic arrow suddenly launched towards Odette, and again, the wolf pup blocked it with his body.
'Urgh! Grrh! It's getting difficult. Wife, please hurry up!' the wolf pup grunted.
'I am trying!' Elder Duckling panicked.
Odette had never seen her in such panic, so she knew the pressure was high on both of them. It was only her who still couldn't accept that someone was out there, trying to kill her.
