Young people with courage and boiling blood were challenging each other and had passionate duels, while some people even had to fight duels according to the matchmaking by the mage guardian. Rudra sitting there was observing the duels between people and was excited if anyone would challenge him.
The clan duels played an important role in members' ranking, everyone gets scores according to their fights, and according to the scores ranking are classified into Prelims, Middle, and Final. People can be able to enter any of those ranks according to their scores which will be constant till the next tournament.
Overall these three rankings contain the top fifty of the clan, in which the top fifty to top 21 are allotted the Prelim ranking, the top 20 to top 11 are given the Middle ranking, and the top 10 to top 1 are given the final ranking. These rankings are considered very important in the clan as they determine one's contribution to the most important and classified clan tasks. These ranks can only be gained by the clan tournament once a year.
While Rudra was observing, he felt a fragrance of rose weaving with the wind and enter his nose, which relaxed his mind immediately. He saw that a girl came and sat in the empty seat right beside him. Rudra turned his head to find an elegant girl wearing a graceful light blue dress.

"Really, then you should get prepared to go back!", Rudra said.

"Yeah you should challenge her", Vedna suggests. Mayra waited for the ongoing duel to end. And as soon as the duel ended she stood and directly jumped towards the arena. Swiftly, like a gust of wind landing on the arena, she had a deadly look in her eyes.
Everyone turned silent. A wave of fear was spread in the entire field, as Mayra had been the top 1 young warrior for a few years, and was the most beautiful, these things made her everyone's idle, whom the people adored and feared at the same time, therefore everyone was scared to the last bit that if they are challenged by her.
Even Rudra felt chills run down his spine. Because he knew his sister who would always punish him in childhood for his carelessness and mistakes. He knew how relentless she became when she fought with all her passion.
Mayra lifted her sword and pointed it towards a girl within the audience.

Sohika, do you possess enough guts to accept my challenge?"
Sohika kept staring at Mayra, her eyes as if she was just waiting for this moment. Incorporated with excitement in her eyes, she stood up and jumped towards the arena. As she landed on the arena, she said, as she pulled out her sword, "Sohika, practitioner level fifth stage.
I do accept your challenge, today we will finally settle the score."
Both of them joined their palms exchanging a 'Namaste' in respect to each other. They didn't have to test their levels as it was already done since both of them were in last year's top 10. They both took a stance until the guardian gestured for them to begin the combat.
Within a second a lot of energy erupted in the arena. Both the girls dashed towards each other. Their sword clashed together.
A loud sound of the clang echoed. They kept swinging and slashing their swords at each other. The swords kept clashing against each other, sending ripples of waves. After exchanging a lot of strikes, they finally decided to stop.
Standing at the two corners of the arena they stared into each other's eyes. Mayra formed a few hand mudras as she recited a mantra.
Then she focused on a specific energy that began to run down her veins and energy channels. The flarenege of her talent came into overdrive mode. A powerful energy surged out of her body as a water hurricane sign appeared around her and then materialized into water energy, that energy enveloped her whole sword, "Dear water I invite you to join me!"
Making it glow with a radiant blue light resembling the water energy. She was using her water elemental talent. On the other side, an incredible energy surged out of Sohika as well, taking the form of a weird sword completely made of feathers. Soon that sword sign materialized into an energy and engulfed her sword.
Making her sword glow with a powerful aura and light. Her sword was emitting out a special sword sense of itself. Which made her sword seem much more powerful than the energy around Mayra's sword.
It was her sword sense, "My feather line sword sense I invite you to join me!", Sohika said.
Both of them then slashed their sword in the air, streaking down an arc of energy waves released by the sword slash, which launched toward each other. Those slash waves collided against each other, nullifying each other from going further ahead.
Instead, a powerful wave was released from their impact. But those waves didn't affect either one of them. Instead, it had more effect on the people in the audience, except the people on practitioner rank 2nd stage or above.
Both of them leaped forward and slashed those swords. After exchanging a few more slashes Mayra dodged Sohika's next slash and thrusts her sword surging with water energy toward Sohika. But at the right moment, Sohika swung her sword and deflected the incoming water sword strike.
The water energy released by Mayra through her sword strike splashed away in seconds. Then Sohika swings her sword at Mayra. Mayra does the same and another water energy wave is released out of her sword that deflected Sohika's sword.
Mayra lifts her sword high above in the air and swings it down at Sohika. Sohika through her sword blocks the incoming attack and pushes Mayra away with her sword. As Mayra was pushed back, Sohika took the chance and stroked her sword at Mayra.
Mayra not having enough time to think what to do jumps above. But still, Sohika's sharp-edged sword comes in contact with her right leg and leaves behind a deep cut mark. Blood flew out of her leg, staining her dress red in color.
Mayra slashes her sword towards Sohika. But as she was landing on the ground, the speed of her sword was a little more. Due to this, Sohika was unable to avoid that strike. Mayra's sword hit Sohika on her left shoulder, drilling through her skin. A lot of blood splashed out which stained Sohika's dress as well. But before it could drill through her skin any further, Sohika, lifted her sword and hit Mayra's sword.
Causing it to cut the skin on her shoulder, but applying force on her sword, Sohika was able to push Mayra's sword to the ground, as she took a step back. Mayra's sword hit the ground, and breaking through the paved stone brick it got stuck in it, meanwhile, Sohika whose sword was right above Mayra's sword, blocking any movement for her sword, thrusts her sword towards Mayra.
Mayra in an attempt to dodge, stepped aside, but till then Sohika's sword had cut through the skin on her arms. Mayra in the countermeasure, dragged the sword which was still deeply stuck in the ground. Due to the drag, the stone floor was broken a little more.
Dragging it outwards, Mayra thrusts it towards, Sohika. That swing by Mayra left a long cut on Sohika's waist, Sohika had to step back and compose herself.
Mayra here taking the short time she got, began forming some hand mudras as she chanted a mantra. The water energy on her sword started to enlighten even more. She swung her sword towards Sohika. Water sword slash! It was a low-level type 4 technique.
For the countermeasure finally, Sohika also decided to use a technique. She also formed a few hand mudras and recited a mantra. She swung her sword towards Mayra. Feather sword slash! This too was a low-level type 4 technique.
In the end, both of them released their strikes.
