"Ether, huh? Sadly, we don't have a lot of it. The Xenoblade universe is a world outside our jurisdiction."
"Ah, that is a shame."
That means I need to change my plan.
"However, we do have a lot of Element Zero. It is not as good as Ether, but it is something that you can use in your technology. We have a massive amount of Element Zero and are willing to sell them at a very low price."
"How much?"
"10 tons of Element Zero for 10 Market Points."
I blink a little at that price. That means I will get 2300 tons of Element Zero for a single Fabricator.
"That is cheap."
"That is because we can create the element ourselves. One of our patrons can mimic the effect of a star going supernova. That means we have an unlimited amount of Element Zero."
"Right. I will take 200 tons for now."
Julia nods, takes out a paper, stamps it, and I see a blue panel appear in front of me.
Do you want to exchange 10 Market Points for 200 tons of Element Zero?
Y/N
I press the Y button and feel all the goods appear in my inventory. I check them and nod when I receive all of it.
"Ah, you have an [Inventory], my lord."
"Yes. It is rather handy. It lets me hide something I don't want others to know."
"Or store a large amount of goods."
"Or that, yes. Anyway, is there anything for me to make? I will make them when I have free time, so make sure it is something that is not very important."
"Let me call the higher-up, my lord."
She takes out a phone, and I can see her calling someone. I let her talk with the person behind the phone, and after a couple of minutes, she put away the phone and looked at me.
"We require a device that can restore a planet after a Nuclear War. We need a device that we can use to reduce the radiation to a safe level. We will pay additional points if you can make something to restore the soil to its fertile state. The same with the water."
I think for a few seconds, searching for a way to do that. After a few seconds, I knew what kind of device I could use to do the job. It involves a machine that produces nanites and spreads them across the globe, eating all the radiation.
"I can do that, yes. However, it will take months to complete the restoration if you only have one machine."
"We are willing to buy more than one. We are willing to buy the machine at a quarter of the market price in our company points or use the market points at full price. You can choose which currency you want."
"We can talk about the payment when the machine is done. For now, I need to return and complete my current project."
"I understand. You can come here or call us through the company phone."
She gives me a scroll just like the one I have back home. It looks like the company is kind enough to make the phone look like what I use back home. I put the scroll in my inventory and say.
"I will do that."
After saying that, I walked to the portal and arrived at my workshop. With Element Zero in my inventory, I walk to the main lab. However, I stop in front of the door because my body no longer fits the regular door. It is too big.
"Ah"
Turning into a Space Marine makes my body bigger than before, and now I need to increase the size of the door.
"Shit"

3rd POV
Ilia looks at the massive building in front of her and cannot help feeling excited as she enters the futuristic building. This is the Workshop of the smartest man in the world, Orin Dorne. In a matter of a month, he changed the entire island for the better.
It is a shame that it requires Adam Taurus to be marked as a terrorist for them to require this, but she understands. He might be her comrade in arms, but what he has done is something even she cannot stomach.
She shakes her head and snaps out of her thoughts. She walks through the building and watches people walking around. They are the people who work under Orin, those who take care of the Energy Generator, and those who take care of the Hydroponic Farm.
She arrives just as the work shift changes, and she knows these people are reporting their work to the higher-ups, and the night shift is preparing to do their work. She has seen their job and must admit that it is relatively easy.
However, even though it is easy, it requires them to concentrate because a slight mistake can cause the quality of the plant to decrease. She hears of how someone messes up and their salary gets cut because of their mistake.
She walks through the corridor of the building and enters the inner section, Orin's Main Workshop. She stops in front of the door that connects the two sections of the building and looks at the two guards.
"I am here on the order of Lady Sienna. It is for Sir Orin's eyes only."
One of them nods his head and presses the button next to the door.
"Sir Orin, Ilia wants to talk to you on the order of Lady Sienna."
"Let her in. I am not busy at the moment."
She opens the door and enters the office. However, she stops when she sees the massive person in front of her. The man in front of her is a 2.5-meter person with a body filled with muscle. If not for the familiar eyes, pair of cat ears, and tail behind him, Ilia would not know that this person is Orin.
"S-Sir Orin… what's happening to you?"
"Hmmm? Ah, this? It looks like I hit puberty."
"Like hell it is!"
Ilia cannot help but shout her words, but immediately covers her mouth in shock and says.
"I am sorry for my rudeness!"
Orin waves his hand and says.
"Think nothing of it."
"Thank you. However, my words still stand, sir. There is no way puberty can do that," she points her finger at his body. "Also, there is a problem of you being in your mid-twenties. You have already passed your puberty era."
Orin laughs a little and says.
"Fair enough. Anyway, the reason why I am like this is because I have had a breakthrough and have done some upgrades to my body."
"Y-You upgrade your own body."
She looks at him in shock. She knows cybernetic upgrades, but she never knows there is an upgrade that makes someone not look like a cyborg.
"Yup. I am messing around with my genes and doing some upgrades. However, before you say something, I cannot do this to others because I don't have anything that is stable enough for me to do to others. It is all luck for me to survive the experiment."
Ilia looks at him as if he is crazy, stupid, or a combination of both.
"Y-You do an unstable experiment on yourself, and the only reason you survive is because of luck."
"Pretty much, yeah."
Ilia releases a sigh and says.
"Right. I come here to inform you that Lady Sienna wants to talk to you and ask you to meet her in the Chieftain House."
"Very well. Let's go."
