Chapter 4 - MAYHEM OF "VIPLAVA (ii)"

Arush, stunned, asked, "VIPLAVA... what is it, Baba?"

Baba replied, "I don't have enough information about this because it is meant to happen in the future."

The king inquired, "Then what do we have to do?"

The saints suggested, "Maybe we have ancient texts that provide information."

Suddenly, the castle began to tremble, dust falling from the roofs.

The general exclaimed, "An army is attacking, not with weapons, but with something like magic!"

The baba and pandits declared, "The mayhem of VIPLAVA has begun!"

A soldier reported, "They burned our temples, ammunition, and our library of ancient writings without even entering."

The king commanded, "FIGHT! FIGHT! Till the last breath!" Turning to Arush and Kyra, he said, "Find out the real story."

Suddenly, the gates of the castle fell, and some entities like air entered. It was as if they didn't have bodies, no shape, only a blur of air.

The soldiers attacked with swords, but the swords swung without even touching them, as if they were just swinging in the air. However, these entities could touch the soldiers. Some entered the soldiers' bodies through their ears, noses, and mouths, and then burst them from the inside. Seeing this, the king felt fear, and a cold current ran down his spine.

Arush said to Kyra, "We can't get through this."

Kyra, sensing the shift, stepped forward, her open hair flowing like a river. Her silk saree and her confident face bore a smirk.

She moved her hand towards the unknown entities and said, "Burn!" A massive wave of fire erupted from the entities' bodies, and the air in the room grew intensely hot. The bodies of the soldiers, mantris, pandits, munshis, and the king burned due to the high temperature.

As the hot current was about to hit Arush, Kyra, with swift and deliberate moves, held him and jumped through an open window.

Kyra and Arush fell into the river flowing through the castle.

The scene Arush had witnessed in the castle terrified him of Kyra – that she had killed the king and the people of his kingdom, his seniors. Traumatized, Arush sank deeper into the water instead of swimming.

But Kyra held his hand, like an angel come to save him, to protect him from hostiles. They flowed with the water outside the kingdom.

Kyra was holding Arush's hand.

When Arush's eyes blinked open, he found Kyra holding his hand, feeling a warmth from her hand transferring to his. Kyra said, "Master, thank God you are alright."

Arush pushed her away and said with a terrified and angry glance, "You... you are a monster, Kyra!"

Kyra, sensing the shift in his emotions, lowered her head in guilt and said, "I... I just protected you, Master, from those entities."

Arush stood up and said, "Protected me? You killed our people, our king!"

Kyra protested, "I protected you! I swore an oath to protect you at any cost... and if I hadn't done anything, we would all be gone."

Arush asked, "How did they burn, and how did that hot current of fire come from your hand...?"
