Lady Hyde walked in from outside the courtyard and saw her son sitting on the sofa in the hall, legs crossed, brow furrowed, lips thinly pressed, with a face full of gloom.
Looking at his appearance, Lady Hyde couldn't help but approach: "What's wrong? What happened? Who upset you?"
Brandan pursed his lips slightly in displeasure, "Iris Harris."
"Iris?"
"She's ignoring me."
"..."
Lady Hyde looked at him, seemingly quite aggrieved, and was momentarily speechless. If he had not provoked Iris, it would have been fine, but now he's blaming her for ignoring him.
Lady Hyde didn't say anything, turned around, and walked away.
"Mom!"
Brandan called out to her displeased: "She's ignoring me, are you ignoring me too?"
Lady Hyde turned back to look at him: "What can I do if she's ignoring you?"
