The faint scent of body wash mixed with her natural fragrance slowly permeated the air. Brandan Hyde's Adam's apple moved involuntarily, reminding him of the scent when he had pressed this woman beneath him not long ago.
Iris Harris seemed oblivious to his strangeness. She looked up at him, "Can I come in?"

Brandan said nothing, simply moved aside.
Iris walked in, approached the coffee table, and placed a stack of papers she was holding onto it.
"This is the divorce agreement I asked my lawyer to draft." She looked at him calmly, "You can take a look. If there are any additional conditions, you can add them now. If everything is fine, you can sign it now."

Brandan's pupils contracted slightly, a flash of disbelief quickly passed through his eyes. After a moment, he silently walked over, picked up the stack of divorce agreements on the coffee table, and flipped through a few pages. Seeing a line, he suddenly looked at her.
