"Why don't you go to the hospital today and have a look?" Faye was extremely worried. "You're already like this, and doing a check-up doesn't take much time. If there's really a problem, it's better to treat it early, wouldn't you say?"
Iris Harris gently wiped the water off her face with a dry towel. She listened to Faye's words and, after a long moment, nodded slightly: "You're right."
She didn't want to die yet, she was still so young. Even if Brandan Hyde didn't want her now, who knows what kind of person she might meet in the future. Being despondent wasn't a solution.
Iris nodded, "I'll go to the hospital later."
Hearing this, Faye immediately brightened up. She sidled over and asked, "What about the food downstairs, do you still want it?"
Iris thought of the milky taste in her mouth, and nausea rose in her throat again. She shook her head, "I won't eat. Besides, for a blood test, I need to be fasting."
