Min-ji felt the hairs on his neck stand erect, and his body stiffening. Slowly, he disengaged from her embrace again, this time his eyes didn't meet hers.
"Wow, you're.. your mind did run so fast," he scratched his neck nervously.
She just stared at him, "What was I supposed to think?"
His face burned bright red, "Nevermind. I'm not even supposed to be this close to you."
He waded back to the other end, "Maybe you should leave now, others might start coming in."
Min-ji didn't know why, but she felt her heart twisting with each word he said.
"So what exactly are you trying to say? That I'm so kind of.."
"I didn't try to say anything," he held his head, "Stop assuming."
She pressed her mouth shut, her face turning pale.
"I would have left earlier if you hadn't stopped me," she snapped, finally standing up.
He watched her as she got to her feet, his eyes trailing her legs.
"Are you and that new guy an item?"
