Beside the refrigerator in the dining room, Maya Spencer looked at the man who rushed in, surprised and quickly turned around, awkwardly explaining, "I felt really nauseous, wanted to drink some iced water, eat something."
Liam Spencer could sense from her expression and words that she felt sorry for disturbing him. Actually, he hadn't slept at all, with his ears perked up listening to her movements; she hadn't disturbed him.
Listening to the girl's explanation, he slowly walked over to the fridge, finding there was nothing inside except mineral water.
For a moment, he was awkward too, realizing he hadn't thought that the house now had a pregnant woman living in it, needing special care.
So, he quickly said, "Wait for a moment, I'll go out and be back soon, also don't drink ice water, drink warm water instead."
Then, he went into the master bedroom to change clothes, hurriedly left the house, leaving Maya alone at home.
