The Next Morning
Jin Woo had woken up in his parents' house. He hadn't gone back to his place the night before, mostly because of his mother's nagging and insistence that he stay the night. She had gone on and on about how she hardly got to see him anymore. So, after a long sigh and a quiet chuckle, he had agreed.
He had woken up early, even before the sun was fully up. The sky outside was still painted in soft shades of grey and blue, and the house was silent except for the gentle clattering coming from the kitchen. As he stepped out of his room and walked down the hallway, the smell of food filled the air — warm, familiar, and comforting.
