Tae Joon immediately opened the door, his face hard as stone. The sight of Ji-a standing there in the middle of the night only made him angrier. Without thinking, he snapped at her.
"What are you doing here?"
Ji-a didn't flinch. She stepped into his apartment like she owned the place, brushing past him without saying a word.
Tae Joon slammed the door shut behind her. "Get out. Now. Who the hell gave you the right to come here? We're done, Ji-a. Over. It was a mistake, and I regret it."
He grabbed her arm to drag her out, but before he could say another word, her hand landed sharply across his face.
"Don't you dare act like a saint," Ji-a snapped. Her eyes blazed with fury. "Last time I checked, you were the one who hit on me—despite being in a relationship. But that's not why I'm here. I didn't come to sleep with you. I came to talk."
Tae Joon scoffed and turned away. "I'm not interested in anything you have to say."
