Chapter 27 - Entry #27

November 5, 2002

Ah, peace. These past few days have been so soothing, I actually dreamed of myself standing in the middle of a vast field filled with roses—white and red. The red ones were fewer, scattered like drops of wine across a sea of white petals. Yet, their sparse presence made them even more striking, as if each one carried a secret.

The air felt still, but not empty. There was a quiet energy lingering—something unspoken, mysterious, as though the field itself was holding its breath. A soft mist curled above the ground, and the night dew clung delicately to each petal, catching the faint silver glow of the moonlight.

It was the kind of scene that belongs in the final shot of a film—haunting, beautiful, and just surreal enough to make you wonder if it was ever real at all. Hahaha.
