Chapter 155 - Chapter 155: New Target

Chapter 155: New Target

Ignoring Valeria who suddenly seemed to realize something, Peter and the others were packing their Luggage. As mentioned before, these Guys were a Hive Mind Entity, and now that Nightcrawler had discovered this place, they couldn't stay any longer.

"Stop thinking, Child," Peter called out, waking Valeria from her immersion in the New World. "They've found us. We need to leave, and quickly."

"Right away, Uncle Peter," Valeria replied, snapping out of it and hurrying to pack her own Luggage.

Actually, when they had moved last time, their Luggage had already been mostly packed. Besides, they didn't have much to begin with, only taking some Food and necessities, abandoning everything else.

Although no one said it, it was clear that everyone's mood was a bit low.

It was understandable. Being chased around by these things, never settling down, anyone would feel down.

"This is for the best, it will make it easier to carry out our Plan."

craftsman said casually while packing, as if it was a trivial matter, trying to gloss over it.

"We? Plan?" Peter, feeling like a father in some ways, wouldn't let craftsman gloss over it so vaguely. He couldn't let the Fantastic Twins be in danger. "When did we come up with a Plan? I haven't heard anything about it."

"I was just about to tell you," craftsman said without looking up, inspecting the Equipment in his hands. "I've already decided on our next Destination. If we can set up camp there, things will be much easier for us."

"Where to?" Peter asked, sensing that craftsman was up to no good.

"Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters."

"No!"

craftsman had barely uttered the Name when Peter immediately rejected it.

craftsman sighed, saying helplessly, "I knew it."

"We can't go there, craftsman . It's too dangerous. Zombies are constantly chasing Superhuman. Who knows how dangerous it is there?" Peter's tone was sharp. Whenever the Fantastic Twins were involved, he became a different person.

"I know, Peter, I know," craftsman stopped what he was doing and looked at Peter. "Do you think I decided on this Destination without considering the pros and cons?"

"Think about it, Peter. Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters has enough Food stored to last us at least 500 years. They have all kinds of Medicine there, which can alleviate your headaches from Spider-Sense. And I need Supplies to maintain my Weapon."

"But..."

"No buts, Peter. You know we're reaching our Limit. The Supplies we scavenge outside won't last much longer." craftsman didn't give Peter a chance to interrupt, pointing to Yang Le beside him. "Besides, we have a powerful helper now. If Habby really did take care of Storm and the others by himself like you said, then those Zombies at the school aren't even worthy of carrying his shoes."

"craftsman is right, Peter," Moonstone said from the side. "We don't have much Food left. If we continue like this, we'll be starving soon."

"I agree too," Yang Le added, joining in to persuade Peter.

Yang Le couldn't stay here forever. He had set a Destination for himself as soon as he arrived in this Universe: either save it or destroy it. So, if Peter and the others didn't get closer to the center of events, Yang Le would leave them sooner or later. It was better to help them settle down now. Moreover, Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, the Destination craftsman chose, was also the base of the X-Men. Yang Le might find something useful there.

"Okay, but I want to ask Franklin and Valeria first. If they don't agree, I won't go." After being bombarded by everyone, Peter finally relented, though he added a Condition.

"Of course, no problem." craftsman readily agreed. In fact, it didn't matter if Peter didn't agree. Even if he was alone, he would go to the school. Besides, the twins probably wanted to go to the school even more than he did.

After all, they hadn't given up hope. For years, they had been trying to find a cure for their parents. The various conveniences at the school were something they couldn't give up.

Sure enough, Peter had barely finished speaking when the Fantastic Twins immediately agreed. Peter had only just started to say something, and swallowed the rest of his words.

And so, with one person worried and the rest longing for it, everyone neatly packed their Luggage and set off on the road to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

"Where are Qiu Yi and Nana? I haven't seen them," Moonstone suddenly realized that someone was missing from the group and asked.

"Nana went to clean up the Blood Nest. I just sent her a message to have her wait for us near the school," Franklin replied.

"Qiu Yi went out Hunting. I know her Hunting Ground is on the Inevitable Path to the school," craftsman said. "If nothing unexpected happens, we should run into her if we just keep going."

Sure enough, just as craftsman said, they walked forward for about ten minutes and saw an orange-yellow Cat walking towards them with graceful steps.

"Qiu Yi, my good Child," Valeria hurried forward, squatted down, and hugged Qiu Yi, gently scratching her chin, causing her to purr.

"Is that a Flerken?" Yang Le asked Peter beside him. He didn't think an ordinary Cat could be so carefree in the apocalypse.

"Yes," Peter nodded.

After confirming, Yang Le walked over to Valeria and said, "Can I scan her DNA?"

"Qiu Yi's? Why?" Valeria looked at Yang Le, puzzled.

"For some Research. Don't worry, I won't Damage her," Yang Le chuckled. It wasn't that he didn't trust Valeria and the others, but in broad daylight, he didn't dare to reveal his Ability completely. Who knew if the Wall had ears?

"You have to ask Qiu Yi," Valeria said, holding Qiu Yi up to Yang Le, her meaning obvious.

"Hey! Qiu Yi," Yang Le greeted Qiu Yi. "I want to scan your DNA, is that okay?"

"Meow~" Qiu Yi meowed, tilting her Head, as if to say, "I'm just a little Cat, I don't understand what you're saying."

But Yang Le wasn't fooled. She definitely understood what Yang Le was saying. Flerken weren't stupid. This was also the Reason why Yang Le wanted to scan her. After all, the Omnitrix couldn't record beast DNA.

"How about this, Qiu Yi?" Yang Le fumbled in his Backpack and took out a plastic bag. "If you agree to let me scan you, I'll give you this."
