Chapter 135 Upgrade ( ) Cyber Midwife (√)

"Mind Stone."

Bruce Banner slowly exhaled a mouthful of foul air and softly spoke the Stone's Name.

At this moment, the Mind Stone had shed its Disguise, revealing its true form—an oval yellow Crystal that emitted a faint glow even without a light ray.

Bruce Banner withdrew his gaze and turned to Tony, asking, "What makes you think the Gem did this?"

"Take a look at this." Tony manipulated the Projection and brought up a Model. "If I asked you to guess, what would you say this is?"

The Model from the Projection looked like the Internal Structure of some Creature, but Bruce Banner, as a Biology Expert, had never seen such a structure.

Bruce Banner pushed up his Glasses, pondered carefully for a moment, and then said, "I don't know, but it looks somewhat like a Human Brain. Look, doesn't this movement resemble Neuron Discharge?"

"This is Ultron. I had Jarvis restore the Replica." Tony said.

"Ultron?" Bruce Banner looked at Tony in shock.

"That's right, quite different from the one we built, isn't it?" Tony then brought up the Record of their joint research and placed the two side-by-side for comparison.

"Different doesn't even begin to cover it; it's worlds apart." Bruce Banner murmured.

"That's why I think the Gem did it." Tony spread his hands. "Turning an Intelligent AI into something like a Creature in such a short time, I don't think anyone could achieve that."

"Truly astonishing." Bruce Banner let out a long breath. He had certainly broadened his horizons today. "So? What do you intend to do?"

"I'm glad you asked." Tony brought up Jarvis's Data. "I'm going to inject Jarvis into this Body."

"Why am I not surprised in the slightest?" Bruce Banner chuckled wryly and rubbed his Eyes.

"Think about it carefully, Bruce." Tony coaxed. "We'll have a powerful Ally with a Vibranium Body, and without Ultron's bloodthirsty Personality."

"Tony, an Intelligent AI can't stop Wakanda from reclaiming the Vibranium." Bruce Banner looked at Tony with a serious expression. "Unless you can come up with a Reason to stop Wakanda, all of this is just Empty Talk."

"Of course, I know that." Tony crossed his arms, looking confident. "You're not thinking of relying on the Mind Stone, are you?" Bruce Banner guessed.

"Don't be ridiculous, Tony. It's all just speculation. You have no direct Evidence to prove the Gem can do such a thing."

"That's why it's called an Experiment," Tony said. "I think it's worth a try, Doctor Banner." Jarvis suddenly interjected.

"See, even the Protagonist is saying so." Tony raised an eyebrow. "And can you honestly say your Inner Heart isn't tempted?"

"What we're doing is practically Theft." Bruce Banner put up a final resistance, ostensibly to dissuade Tony, but also to restrain his own restless Inner Heart.

Tony was right; Bruce Banner was indeed somewhat tempted. "As long as you don't say anything, and I don't say anything, who's to know if this wasn't just an Accident?" Tony spread his hands wide.

Bruce Banner was silent for a moment, then sighed and said, "Let's hope we don't end up like Dr. Frankenstein, killed by the Monster we created."

Although Bruce Banner didn't say it directly, Tony knew he had agreed, and his face immediately lit up with a smile. "That's the spirit! Come on, Doctor Banner, I'll assist you. You're the Expert in this area."

"Don't get too happy too soon, Tony," Bruce Banner said. "To transfer Jarvis's Data into this Body, we need Dr. Helen Cho's Life Cradle. Ours is broken. You'll either have to fix it or borrow one from Dr. Helen Cho."

Neither option was simple. Repairing the Cradle would take a lot of Time, and Wakanda could come to reclaim the Vibranium at any moment. Borrowing one from Dr. Helen Cho was even more impossible. Dr. Helen Cho was still in a coma. If they ran over to wake her up and borrow one, it would definitely attract attention, and Tony's Plan would surely fall apart.

"Don't worry, I anticipated this." Tony looked like he had everything under control. "Jarvis, call Upgrade directly." "Acknowledged, sir."

For an ordinary person, making a direct call without wearing a Communicator would be quite troublesome, but as a Nanomechanical Lifeform, Jarvis could indeed call Upgrade directly.

"Hello? What's up, Jarvis?" Upgrade's Sound rang out. "Why are you sending me a Signal? And telling me not to tell anyone?"

"It's me, Tony," Tony said. "Oh, Tony, what's the Business?" Upgrade was curious. Tony was being so secretive; what did he want from him?

"It's hard to give an Explanation over Communication. Come to the Laboratory, and you'll understand everything when you get here. And remember to come alone." With that, Tony hung up the Communication.

The Circle on Upgrade's Face became distorted, no longer round. 'What does Stark want from me? And telling me not to tell anyone, being so mysterious... is he going to dismantle me and turn me into Mark 50?'

Daydreaming was useless. After all, Tony in the Movie Universe still had a conscience, so Yang Le wasn't afraid. He just notified his other Clone Technique and then came to the Laboratory alone.

"Hi Tony, hi Bruce Banner." Upgrade extended a Tentacle and greeted them. "So, what's the Business?"

"Nothing much, just something we need your help with." Tony appeared very relaxed, in stark contrast to the somewhat nervous Bruce Banner beside him. Afterward, Tony told Upgrade his speculation, and of course, his Plan.

"So you want me to repair this Life Cradle?" Upgrade's Face contorted into a V-shape after hearing Tony's Plan. "Yes," Doctor Banner nodded, but immediately added, "Of course, if you're not willing..."

"This is absolutely awesome!" Upgrade's Eyes turned Oval, showing how excited he was. "When do we start? Now?"

"Uh..." Bruce Banner clearly hadn't expected Upgrade to agree so quickly. His Brain momentarily short-circuited. Tony, seeing Upgrade's eagerness, immediately replied, "Of course, we can start now."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Upgrade elongated his Body and threw himself onto the broken Life Cradle, then gradually merged with it.

Like Playdough being kneaded by a child, Upgrade wriggled and squirmed, and a brand-new Life Cradle, with a completely different appearance from before, appeared before Tony and Bruce Banner.

"Let's get started quickly," Upgrade said, extending a Loudspeaker. "Let's begin, Doctor Banner," Tony nudged Bruce Banner beside him. "Don't you see the Midwife is already impatient?"
