Chapter 116 - 116

"Good news, friends." Diamondhead returned to the Laboratory.

"My colleague is near Earth, and he will arrive at Earth tomorrow."

"That's really good news," Steve said, relieved.

"So, what should we do now?" Thor asked.

"This feeling of just watching others and not being able to do anything ourselves is really frustrating."

"We need to rest and recuperate," Steve comforted Thor.

"If Ultron appears, we still have to rely on ourselves to stop it."

"Right now, I just want to smash its face with a hammer." Thor released the hammer in his hand, and the uncontrolled Mjolnir fell to the ground, making a thud.

Clang!

Ultron reached out and knocked down the battered and broken battle suit in front of him to the ground.

"Whew~ Finally," Ultron breathed a sigh of relief, carefully observing his new body.

Hydra's material reserves are not bad. The things here, if taken out, are enough to make many people bear the crime of treason. There are also many Chitauri debris here, and even a relatively intact Chitauri whale ship.

Ultron, who had toured the entire Network, of course knew why these things were here. SHIELD was just the outer skin; in fact, it had long been infiltrated by Hydra. It's laughable that those Avengers didn't even know, especially his creator Tony Stark, he is the most laughable.

"Heh…" Ultron couldn't help but laugh out loud. It gradually became unrestrained, a chuckle turning into loud laughter, laughing loudly in this empty fortress, like madness.

Bang!

Ultron suddenly stretched out his right foot and stomped the battle suit on the ground to pieces, sparks flying, making a jarring creaking sound.

"Avengers," Ultron murmured softly.

"And the Plumbers, if I want to destroy humans, they are indeed an obstacle and must be eliminated."

"For this, I need some allies, some dogs who can help me buy time. Where can I find these dogs who are willing to help me hold back enemies?"

Ultron pushed aside the scrap metal under his feet and walked to a host. The monitor connected to the host lit up, and the visuals on it began to switch constantly, finally stopping at a photo of a person, with his information attached next to it.

"Aldrich Killian."

Ultron slowly read out that person's name.

"Hatred, jealousy, a twisted heart. What a perfect dog, but just relying on Stark might not be enough to drive him."

Ultron waved his hand, and a phone call was made.

The bell rang a few times, and the phone was answered.

"Who are you? Why do you have this number?" Aldrich Killian's voice came through, in a cautious tone.

"Hello, Dr. Killian," Ultron said in a calm tone, speaking unhurriedly, forming a sharp contrast with the nervous Aldrich Killian.

"I want to make a deal with you."

"I don't have time to beat around the bush with you, say what you have to say quickly," Aldrich Killian composed his mood, his tone hardening, trying to lead this conversation.

"Hehe." Ultron couldn't help but chuckle. It was not angry because of Aldrich Killian's arrogance, but rather very happy, because this was exactly the dog it needed.

"Relax, I'm here to help you."

"Help me? What do I have that you need help with?" Aldrich Killian scoffed.

"Help you complete your gadget," Ultron slowly said.

"Extremis Virus."

"Where did you get the information?" Aldrich Killian couldn't sit still, his tone becoming anxious.

The Extremis Virus, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say it's his lifeline. Although it's not perfect, it's also his only reliance to complete his plan.

"Hehe, I checked your experiment logs," Ultron said in a relaxed tone, explaining unhurriedly.

"I have to say, you scientists' records are really concise and clear, saving me a lot of time."

Aldrich Killian remained silent, but in his heart, a storm raged.

"I've seen your achievement. The success rate of the Extremis Virus fusing with creatures is still not high enough. If it fails, the person injected with the virus will, bang!"

Ultron's tone carried unconcealed glee.

"Honestly, that's the most wonderful fireworks I've ever seen."

"Madmen!" Aldrich Killian cursed angrily and hung up the phone.

After taking a few deep breaths, Aldrich Killian finally calmed down. Just as he was about to do other things, that sound rang out again.

"I didn't expect you to hang up the phone immediately."

"What?!" Aldrich Killian looked at his computer in horror. That sound was coming from the speakers connected to his computer.

Aldrich Killian's hands turned red-hot, the high temperature distorted the surrounding space. He reached out and smashed down forcefully, sparks flying, the computer and speakers melted under the high temperature, emitting an unpleasant smell.

"I gave you respect, Aldrich Killian, that's why I chose the phone method to connection you. I didn't expect you to reject my goodwill."

Ultron's sound sounded again, this time from another computer in Aldrich Killian's laboratory.

"What exactly do you want to do?" Aldrich Killian suppressed the fear in his heart. He knew nothing about the person on the other end of the phone, yet he had no secrets in front of the other party.

"Not much, Aldrich Killian. We have a common enemy, Stark."

"Stark." Mentioning this name again, anger appeared in Aldrich Killian's eyes.

Stark was originally his idol. He was simply a genius. Aldrich Killian originally thought he was the smartest person in the world, until he personally gave him humiliation.

"That's right, Stark," Ultron sounded like the venomous snake tempting Adam and Eve.

"Of course, while dealing with Stark, even your insignificant little wish, I can help you achieve it, for example, the President of the United States."

Aldrich Killian's body trembled. This was the ambition in his heart, growing bit by bit in his heart along with the research and development of the Extremis Virus.

"That's too small, Aldrich Killian," Ultron said in a gentle tone, making Aldrich Killian think of his mentor.

"I can let you rule the world, as long as you cooperation with me."

"Then what exactly is your purpose in doing this?" Aldrich Killian was not carried away. Although he was indeed a bit hot-headed, he still had the most basic reason.

"Moreover, why should I believe that you have the ability to do this? Empty promises sound nice."

"Hehe." Ultron chuckled lightly. You can't expect a horse to run if you don't feed it, it of course understood such a simple principle.

"Check your email, any of them will do. I have already sent the improved scheme of the Extremis Virus. I believe you will know whether I have the ability to do so after you read it."

Aldrich Killian walked quickly to a computer and logged into one of his emails. Sure enough, he found a new email.

"I'll give you time to verify its authenticity, but of course, I won't wait too long. Don't disappoint me."

Then Ultron ended the call.
