I've been keeping something from Mommy. The letters.
Letters that were proof of my getting into trouble at school. I was supposed to come here and help Mommy with her mission, but I was scared. Scared that I've ruined everything for her and that was why I refused to hand over those letters to her.
They kept piling up in my drawer. If Mommy sees it and I get expelled, Mommy will be disappointed in me. Even if she's still going to love me and treat me like she always does, I'm the one who doesn't want to be a disappointment.
All this should have been avoided if I had just minded my business and allowed Austin to get bullied.
Yesterday, at school... The teacher gave me a final warning to make sure my parents come to school. I wanted to tell Daddy before leaving the house, but I'll have to tell him about the mission too. If Daddy knows about the mission, it'll be a problem.
What if he arrests Mommy, thinking she's a spy?
