Chapter 27 - Chapter 27

Ophelia's life was classes, essays, and studying. Four papers due on the same day should be illegal, especially when something for her thesis was due. She managed to keep up with eating and sleeping but it had been really long. She paused working on a paper. Midterms were going to be a nightmare. She was not looking forward to them.

To say Ophelia was having a rough time was an understatement, she hadn't really been able to sleep. She was having to set timers to make sure she did not miss anything, she really did not want to face the spoon again so soon. She was having fun but maybe she needed some little time. She was starting to get buried under the mountains of research and homework. She sighed, she knew Olly had been very busy too. She would have to ask. She told herself. They couldn't read her mind. She sighed and pulled out her phone and messaged them asking if she could come over on Friday.

Arriving with a bag… she hated how overwhelmed she felt. Her brain is just swirling with ideas and test answers. It was later than she meant to arrive, but she decided to finish up an assignment before coming over. Wondering if she should have a message to let them know. She opened the door and headed inside. Olly and Gen were chatting in the kitchen well chatting might not be the best word. They seem to be debating on dinner.

She entered the kitchen. She tried to get their attention…. But it failed. She felt small but not in a good way. She waited a moment to see if there would be a lull in the conversation.

"Hey," she began. "I'm i'm…" They continued talking, and she felt frustrated. She took a deep breath. She spoke up again, but no luck. She paused, maybe she needed to let them finish. It seems they decided dinner plans.

"Oh Lia," Gen said. "How long have you been standing there?" They hadn't even noticed her? She ran her toe over the tiled kitchen floor.

"Yeah.. sorry I'm here later than planned." She said quietly. "I'm.. strangely." She noticed they were discussing something again, she hated the feeling building up in her chest. She knew they did not mean anything by it, but when she was cut off when trying to speak again, she lost control and suddenly stamped her foot.

"You are not listening to me!" Exploded out of her, hurriedly she covered her mouth. She felt panic rise up in her chest as Olly and Gen looked over at her. She waited for blows to land across her backside but instead, Olly had wrapped his arms around her.

"Shhhh." He muttered into hair. "You are not in trouble." She felt him rub her back. "It seems like we're all a little overwhelmed huh?" He slowly rocked her back and forth. She nodded into his chest. "Shhh," He stroked her hair. "It's okay, Lia." He promised. He cupped her face in his and smiled softly. "Let's get you changed huh?" She nodded at him.

"Sweetheart we're sorry." Gen kissed her hair. She look a long deep breath then allowed Olly to lead her to their bedroom. She did not expect that. Olly laid her down and offered her a paci. She took it happily when he started to unbutton her pants.

"I think we all need a little relaxing time." He pointed out while pulling off her shirt. He hummed a soft tune as he began wiping her down for a pull up. "You are being such a good little one." He told her. "I'm sorry you got a little too stressed." He spread her cheeks while sliding the thermometer in. "Let's hope this stress hasn't raised your temp." He teased as it beeped. "Nope, nice and normal." He praised while leaning down to kiss her forehead. "Alright can you lift your legs for me?" She felt the pull up slide down over her powder covered bottom.

She was surprised he began to dress her in pjs. She was not sure where they came from. He then placed her in the middle of the bed. She did not want to be left alone; she let out a small whine.

"Shhh." He told. Gen's going to lay with you while I dress myself for bed." She looked over to see Gen already in bed clothes. She quickly clung to Gen who began patting her bottom. She was so thankful for them. Gen kissed her forehead gently. Some tears escaped her eyes.

"Don't cry sweetheart. We're here." She said as Olly joined them under the covers. He began to rub her back. She felt her eyes start to get heavy. She suddenly felt calm and safe.

"Well, if this is going to happen more often, we might need a bigger bed." Olly chuckled over the dozing little between them. "This is likely really good for all of us." Gen gave him a kiss to show she agreed.

Dinner did not get decided that night.
