The class was going on, the teacher was writing stuff on the board with chalk, his voice was loud and was echoing in the whole class.
"And with that.. we are done with the breakdown of elements resonance within the hybrid type mana cores." He announced. "Now, which one of you will tell me about the most unstable combination of elemental fusion."
Some students raised their hands—including Alaric.
Emil was sitting a few rows back, he was watching Alaric while sitting between Kael and Riven. Alaric answered the question and even added a smart humorous remark, which even made the teacher chuckle. The class responded with laughter and a chuckle to Alaric. Some of Alaric's old friends leaned in to talk to him.
Riven leaned to Emil. "This is so fake, it's making me lose a nerve, you know."
"Yeah, and you know what's shocking? That you are losing your cool." Emil whispered to Riven. "But we can't do anything, not yet Atleast."
