Before Varez could even speak, Stefanos slammed his hands on the table.
"Did you just call me a thing?"
Ian met his gaze coolly. "Why? Offended?"
"You fucking asshole!" Stefanos snapped, grabbing him by the collar of his suit.
Diana didn't move an inch. She just watched, a part of her wanting to see how it would unfold.
Ian glanced at the hand gripping his collar, then slowly lifted his head, his eyes locking with Stefanos.
"How dare you touch me?" he questioned, voice low.
Stefanos's eyes twitched. "Who do you think you are? Do you want to settle this or—"
Ian's fingers curled around his wrist, and as if his bones had been crushed, his grip tightened, sending waves of pain tearing through his entire body.
Stefanos instinctively tried to pull away, Ian, however, held him in place.
"Why did you touch me?" he murmured with disgust. "Do you know how filthy I find you?"
"Fuck you!"
