Chapter 87 - The Judgment Queens

Blaze stood between Nia and Lysandra, his finger still holding her punch with effortless control. The heat around him shimmered, but his expression remained cold.

Blaze Vortex:

(Low and sharp)

"...Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not here to save her. ... But you--Lysandra Moon, Queen's Blade of the Legions Sentinels kingdom, heir to a throne of voice and silence--you don't get to lose like this. ... not when you represent a kingdom. Not when you represent this universe."

Nia, still on the ground, wiped blood from her mouth and looked up to him, confused but steady. And her voice was weakly and breathless.

Nia:

(Weakly)

"...Then why stop her?"

Blaze Vortex:

(Without looking back)

"...Because if you fall now, it's not a victory. It's a stain. And I don't let stains linger upon the Queen. Which is you."

Lysandra Moon:

(Furious, venomous)

"...You arrogant imbecile. You think you can lecture me? You're just a walking furnace with a god complex. ...Touch me again, and I'll kill your soul into silence."

Blaze Vortex:

(Smirked)

"Oohh, am scared, but tell me, are you truly capable of killing me?"

Meanwhile, the clash of queens reached it's crescendo. Asuna's divine aura surged--her strikes now faster, heavier, laced with radiant fury. Versira matched her--her movement fluid, her power ancient and unrelenting. Each blow they trade shattered islands, split oceans, and sent Shockwaves across the skies. Void ling and Seraphina watched from a distance.

Void ling:

(Quiet and calculation)

"...This isn't a duel anymore. It's a declaration."

Seraphina Nyx:

(Focused)

"...And neither of them intends to be forgotten, their blows are shattering the islands and splitting the oceans apart, even the skies itself feels like it doesn't exist."

Asuna lanched forward, her fist glowing with divine light, clashing with Versira's palm mid--air. The impact sent a tidal wave across the sea.

Asuna:

(Intense)

"...You've ruled through fear long enough, Versira! This ends now!

Versira Nethrion:

(Smirking)

"...Then let me show you what fear truly looks like."

The sky darkened--not from clouds, but from the sheer pressure of Versira's awakening power. Her eyes glowed with a deep crimson hue, and the world around her seemed to fracture--not visibly, but conceptually. To her eyes, everything shimmered with glowing red cracks--threads of morality, weakness, and inevitable end.

Versira Nethrion:

(Voice and regal)

"...You speak of ending my reign, Asuna. But I see the end in everything. Even you. ...This is the "Line of death". And once I strike it... nothing survives."

She raised her hand, and the air around Asuna shimmered--her armor, her aura, even her divine light now laced with glowing crimson fractures, visible only to Versira.

Asuna:

(Gritted her teeth)

"...I don't care what you see. I'm not dying here. Not with the likes of you."

Versira surged forward, her palm slicing through the air--not aiming for brute force, but for precision. Asuna barely dodged, but even the air behind her split open, the "Death line" of a gust of wind severed into stillness. From afar, Void ling's gaze sharpened. He watched the battlefield not with awe--but with calculation.

Void ling:

(Low and serious)

"... I see the "The line of Death." From what I can tell, her ability doesn't just kill--it erases the concept of resistance. So trying to block it will be penetrated or it can even break it."

Seraphina Nyx:

(Tense and watching closely)

"...if she lands even one clean strike, Empresss Asuna is done. Not wounded, but Ended."

Meanwhile we moved to Revy lay on Mae's lap, her body battered, hsr aura flickering like a dying flame. Blood stained her lips, but her eyes--through dim--still held fire.

Mae:

(Softly, brushing hair from Revy's face)

"...Don't speak. You'll make the wounds worse. ... Let's get out of here. I'll find someone from the kingdom to heal you... or maybe Void ling and his crew can help.",

Revy:

(Weakly, with a faint smile)

"...You always... worry too much."

Back on the battlefield, Blaze stood between Nia and Lysandra, the tension thick as frost. As they spoke.

Blaze Vortex:

(To Nia but firm)

"...You sure about this? She's not holding back anymore."

Nia:

(Rising, steady)

"...Neither am I."

Nia raised her hand, and the air around them twisted--space folding inward as a rift opened. A new dimension formed, snow falling gently in a realm suspended between time and space.

Blaze Vortex:

(Watching the rift)

"...A space-time dimension... isolated, detaches from the flow of causality. Smart. No interference. No escape."

Lysandra Moon:

(Smirking)

"...So we're fighting in a different dimension now. How poetic."

Nia:

(Calm and focused)

"...This realm exists outside linear time. Space bends here. Cause and effect are fluid. It's just you and me now, Lysandra."

Snow fell silently as the two warriors faced off--one forged in frost, the other in resolve. Meanwhile A flash of light--Mae and Revy teleported into the heart of the war, where Void ling and Seraphina stood watching the clash between Asuna and Versira. Asuna noticed them mid--combat, her eyes widened at the sight of Revy, bloodied but alive.

Asuna:

(Gritted, mid-strike)

"...Revy... you made it..."

Void ling:

(His gaze on Revy)

"She survived. That's impressive, she could barely breath."

Seraphina Nyx:

(Soft and hit of pride)

"...She didn't just survive. She rewrote the outcome. No wonder she is breathing so hard."

Void ling:

(Turned towards Seraphina)

"...Sera. Heal her."

Mae:

(Wide-eyed, incredulous)

"...Wait--heal her? You can heal her? That's impossible... What kind of power ever lets you do that?"

Seraphina stepped forward. Kneeling beside Revy. Her hands glowed with a soft, celestial light-- neither divine nor arcane, but something older. Something fundamental.

Void ling knelt beside them, his fingers brushing the air just above Revy's wounds. His eyes narrowed, scanning not just the injury--but the concept of the damage.

Void ling:

(Whispering to himself)

"...Fractured aura threads... temporal recoil from backlash... her body's not just wounded--it's misaligned with her own timeline. ... if left untreated, she'll phase out of continuity within hours."

He stood slowly, letting Seraphina's light begin the restoration. Far from the others, Blaze stood alone, where Lysandra and Nia were once were. But his eyes were distant.

Blaze Vortex:

(To himself, quiet)

"...Everyone's moving. Fighting. Dying. And I'm just standing here... watching it all burn."

He vanished into a flash of flame--teleporting back to the others. He reappeared beside Void ling and Seraphina, just as Seraphina's healing light began to stabilize Revy.

Mae:

(She turned her gaze)

"...Oh, it you, Blaze Vortex is that right?"

Blaze Vortex:

(Smiling)

"...Couldn't let you all have the fun without me."

Meanwhile in the frozen dimension. Snow fell in silence as Nia and Lysandra faced off. As the Snow was raining heavily and the air was strong.

Nia:

(Calmed and focused)

"...This place is outside of time. Not reinforcements. No interruptions. Just us."

Lysandra Moon:

(Smirking, cold)

"...Perfect. Shall we begin?"

They surged forward in a blur of speed--clashing fist to fist, blow to blow. Each impact shattered the snowy ground, sent avalanche down distant mountains, and cracked the sky above. Nia raised her hand--portals opened in every direction, each one firing beams of pure energy from alternate timelines. Lysandra dodged with blinding speed, weaving through the barrage--until one beam clipped her shoulder, sending her skidding across the ice.

Lysandra Moon:

(Gritted her teeth)

"...Tch. That one stung."

Nia:

(Steady, relentless)

"...There's more where that came from."

Back to the main battlefield, Versira's eyes glowed crimson as she raised her hand--her version filled with the glowing fractures of Asuna's being. She struck--her palm slicing through the air, severing the "Line of Death" that ran through Asuna's divine aura. Asuna stumbled, her body convulsing as her defense shattered-- not from force, but from conceptual death. Void ling's eyes narrowed as he wanted from afar.

Void ling:

(Low and serious)

"...She's using it. The line of Death. If Asuna doesn't adapt now... she won't just lose. She'll cease."

THE BATTLEFIELD IS UNRAVELING.
