Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Secrets of the Ancient Papyrus – Part One

Inside the Egyptian Conference Hall

The President of Egypt gathered with the most important leaders and ministers to discuss the current situation, especially after the recent discovery made by the research team. The atmosphere was tense, filled with anticipation and unease.

All eyes were on a man standing before them, explaining his findings, while expressions of curiosity and concern were evident on their faces.

The speaker was the Minister of Egyptian Antiquities and the head of the team investigating the recent mysterious events. He took a deep breath before speaking, though the worry in his tone was unmistakable:

"We received a report from the director of one of Egypt's museums about something strange in the storage room. We sent a team to investigate. At first, they found nothing unusual, but after a thorough search, they discovered an ancient papyrus."

He paused, scanning the faces of the leaders and ministers, who showed both intrigue and skepticism. Then, with a serious tone, he continued:

"This papyrus was different from any other. There were no inscriptions or symbols on it before. That's why it had been stored away without much attention. However, when the team decided to examine it closely, one of the researchers, out of sheer curiosity, unfolded it... and to our shock, ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs began to appear on the surface. We were immediately informed, and we began translating it. What we found was beyond shocking!"

Murmurs spread among the attendees before one of the ministers interrupted, half-jokingly but with a hint of reproach:

"Hussein, with everything happening—the strange energy explosion at the pyramid, the emergence of the barrier—you didn't think this papyrus might be important?!"

"Did it really have to wait for the perfect moment to reveal itself?"

A few attendees chuckled quietly, while another minister added with a smirk:

"You took the words right out of my mouth—I was about to say the same thing!"

Hussein glanced at his colleague Ibrahim, who seemed to enjoy his discomfort. With an exasperated sigh, he muttered:

"Honestly, I completely forgot about it. But can we focus now?"

The room fell silent, though Ibrahim still looked pleased with himself. Then, Hussein continued, his eyes reflecting an unease he could no longer hide:

"This is what was written inside the papyrus:"

--------

> "If you are reading this, then the time has come. I know you have many questions, and I have been entrusted with writing this warning to guide you. So, my descendants, listen carefully, for what I am about to reveal is of great importance. I must warn you about what is to come—it will be far worse than you can imagine."

> "I will start from the beginning… We were a people who lived along the Nile, mastering science, respecting death, and following traditions. Before we left this world, we reached a level of knowledge never seen before. We believed we had reached the pinnacle… until we discovered something unexpected."

> "We found a strange energy in the air—an energy with its own will, a cosmic force intertwined with the universe itself. A pure scientific force… and its name was Heka."

> "As we began to understand this energy, we leaped forward in science and technology, opening doors we never expected. That was when those whom people would later call the 'Egyptian gods' emerged. They were merely humans who had mastered Heka in a unique way."

> "The most powerful among them was Ra, the first to fully grasp Heka. But he never shared everything he learned—no one knows why. After him, Heka chose a select group, later known as the 'Sons of Ra.' They became the first line of defense against the threats coming from beyond Earth, the greatest of which was our eternal enemy… Apophis."

> "As time passed, their strength grew, and they began exploring other realms. Though conflicts arose among them—like the one between Horus and Set—they never escalated into catastrophe… until Set vanished, and with him, Apophis."

> "At the same time, new beings emerged, possessing power rivaling the Sons of Ra and even Ra himself. Their sole purpose was conquest, to dominate worlds and expand their empire. They sought to claim our knowledge… thus began the First Cosmic War."

> "We searched for Set, but he had disappeared completely. We had no time to waste, so we fought without him. It was a brutal war, and no one knows how it truly ended or what happened afterward."

> "Throughout the ages, the war raged on, and during this time, humans from all over the world—chosen by Heka—began to emerge. They came from different civilizations, but none were as powerful as the 'Egyptian gods.'"

> "Ra refused to allow other civilizations to interfere in the war, fearing their betrayal or greed for the power of the otherworldly beings. He knew they were weak and had built their civilizations on injustice and greed. So, he devised a secret plan with the other Egyptian gods and the wise among our people. After glimpsing the future, they made a crucial decision…"

> "Heka was sealed within the Great Pyramid, and a barrier was erected to prevent those beings from finding our world."

> "Ra and his sons launched a relentless assault against these entities. No one knows the full extent of the losses or the true outcome. But we do know one thing… these beings swore to return and exact their revenge upon the Egyptians and all of humanity."

> "Thus, the war ended… or so we thought."

> "With Heka sealed away, civilizations weakened. Over time, those who had used Heka perished, vanishing without a trace. Their stories turned into myths, their secrets lost. And so, they were later called 'gods' because they disappeared so suddenly without leaving any knowledge behind."

> "But Heka did not die… it was merely sealed."

> "After Heka's disappearance, alternative energies emerged—Mana, Chi, Spiritual Energy—all were merely weak fragments of Heka, never as powerful."

> "But now… with Heka's return and its seal broken, the barrier placed by Ra and his sons will become visible, revealing its protection over the planet. However, it will gradually weaken over time, meaning humanity must prepare for what is coming."

> "Furthermore, the descendants of the ancient gods will awaken, bringing with them the legacies of their lost civilizations. But we know that many of them will perish, their bloodlines erased entirely, so they must be protected at all costs."

> "Soon, our world will reconnect with the other realms—especially one that other civilizations have called the 'Realm of the Gods' or the 'Upper World.' But its true name is Sirius, the center that links all worlds together."

> "The first to enter this realm—the key to unlocking the gates of these worlds—will be the descendants of the ancient gods from all civilizations."

> "However, something even more dangerous will emerge—something that could bring about the end of humanity as we know it…"

> "Be prepared…"

(The message ends here. At the bottom of the papyrus, there is a symbol representing 'diseases' in ancient Egyptian writing.)

Hussein fell silent after reading, still struggling to process the words. He lifted his gaze to the room, finding the same expression on everyone's faces—shock, fear, disbelief. It was as if they had lost their ability to speak.

And he didn't blame them… because he himself could hardly believe what he had just read.

[Author's Note]

Well, what do you think of this chapter? Now, the secret of the strange energy has been revealed—it's Heka! Heka is an ancient Egyptian energy used in the past, but don't think this is the only energy the ancient Egyptians wielded.

And what do you think about the First Cosmic War and the threat of these beings who want to exterminate humanity to strengthen their own empires? Why do you think Set and Apophis disappeared? This papyrus hinted at these three events in an indirect way.

Chapter Question:

Why were the Egyptians so invested in superhumans and their descendants? Based on what you understood from the chapter—are there still undiscovered secrets hidden in the papyrus?

And what do you also think about the friendship between the characters Ibrahim and Hussein?

I truly want to know your thoughts because I've worked hard researching and planning these events, including the unique Heka energy system.
