The air grew thick once more with tension as Xiao Feng faced the three Dou Wangs, each now fully alert and aware that half-measures wouldn't be enough. The eerie calm was only a prelude to the chaos that was about to erupt.
Knowing they had to go all out to even hope of defeating this monstrous boy, the trio summoned their weapons.
The 8-star Dou Wang leader growled, his Dou Qi surging as two flaming crimson gauntlets appeared on his arms, burning like molten steel.
The 3-star and 2-star Dou Wangs each summoned their long spears, one crackling with wind-attributed Dou Qi and the other glowing with a dull golden light.
Seeing his opponents readying for serious combat, Xiao Feng's expression remained calm. He raised his hand and summoned his own weapon from his storage ring.
A silver sword with jade-green etchings materialized in his grasp, humming softly with wind energy.
> "It's been a while, Wind Piercer," Xiao Feng murmured.
The Tier 6 sword gleamed with elegance, its edge sharp enough to split the wind itself. As he gripped it, his own Dou Qi flared outward like a rising tempest, flooding the skies with pressure.
The three opponents didn't hesitate. With a shout, their Dou Qi surged once more, bursting out in visible streams of color as they charged toward him like a coordinated storm.
Xiao Feng didn't move.
He simply waited, calmly, Dou Qi gathering around his blade like a swirling gale.
Then, the clash began.
Weapons danced in the sky. The flaming gauntlets clashed with Wind Piercer in a burst of sparks. Spears swept in from the sides like striking vipers. Each attack was enhanced by Dou Qi, their weapons glowing brightly under the mid-day sun.
But Xiao Feng—now fully utilizing his incredible speed—moved like a phantom.
He twisted and weaved through the barrage of attacks. His sword met every strike with sharp precision. He dodged effortlessly, sometimes with only inches to spare. When he didn't dodge, he parried with perfect angles, turning their strength against them.
Then came the counterattacks—blindingly fast slashes that forced the trio back. Each movement was like poetry in motion, an elegant dance of wind and steel.
Frustration began to build.
The three Dou Wangs couldn't land a single solid hit.
The leader, now gritting his teeth in frustration, suddenly ignited his fists again.
> "Burning Meteor Fist!"
Flames burst forth as he charged in with explosive force. At the same time, the two other Dou Wangs closed in from both sides. Their weapons already glowing, they shouted in unison and unleashed their Dou Techniques—one of wind and the other of compressed earth energy.
A coordinated three-way assault.
Xiao Feng narrowed his eyes.
He could have easily dodged. A simple use of Wind Integration would have let him escape in an instant. But he didn't. Instead, he held his sword horizontally and let his Dou Qi pour into it.
> "Wind Wall Slash."
His sword glowed with an intense jade light, and with a powerful spin, Xiao Feng slashed in a full circular motion, the air around him whirling violently.
In a heartbeat, a wall of wind erupted in all directions—sharp, compressed wind energy forming a circular barrier that shredded through the incoming attacks like paper.
BOOM!
A deafening explosion filled the skies once more.
Smoke and dust obscured the battlefield as the three attackers hovered outside the blast zone, watching carefully.
Seconds passed.
Then, from the center of the explosion, Xiao Feng's calm figure floated—completely unharmed.
Their expressions turned to shock.
> "He blocked all of that?!"
Before they could recover—
Spark!
The edges of Xiao Feng's jade-green wings turned silver, crackling with electricity. His figure vanished in a blur of green and silver.
> "Wha—?!"
He reappeared behind the 3-star Dou Wang—like a ghost in the wind.
Before the man could even react, Xiao Feng's sword thrust forward with blinding precision.
> "Gale Pierce."
Wind Piercer glowed with swirling wind as it pierced through the defender's side. Not a fatal strike—but devastatingly painful.
The Dou Wang let out a scream as his body shot downward, slamming into the ground below in a cloud of dirt and debris, severely injured.
The other two were stunned for a moment—but that moment was too long.
Xiao Feng turned toward the leader, his sword raised high.
> "Wind Fang Slash."
A long, glowing arc of jade-green light erupted from his sword and tore through the air like a crescent blade.
The leader, instincts screaming, threw up a full-body Dou Qi Barrier, pushing all his remaining energy into defense.
The crescent wave hit.
CRACK!
The barrier held for only a second before it shattered.
The attack continued through—but at the last moment, Xiao Feng adjusted his control. Rather than slicing the man in two, the attack left a deep diagonal cut across his chest, enough to send him flying with blood trailing in the air.
The leader slammed into the ground beside his fallen comrade, coughing violently, body spasming.
Two down.
The remaining 2-star Dou Wang began to tremble, eyes darting between his fallen allies and the calm figure floating above with glowing jade wings.
Xiao Feng met his gaze, not saying a word.
> "I—I surrender!" the man yelled, raising his hands in panic.
But Xiao Feng didn't reply. Instead, he calmly returned Wind Piercer to his storage ring.
Then he vanished again.
The man blinked—and Xiao Feng was right in front of him.
Too late.
A powerful punch struck his gut, making him double over. A swift knee to the chest followed. Before the man could even recover, Xiao Feng spun and landed a roundhouse kick to the face, sending the final Dou Wang crashing to the earth like a falling star.
All three were down.
The skies were finally silent again.
Xiao Feng hovered above them, expression unchanged. The jade green glow of his wings faded slowly.
From the city below, thousands watched with mouths agape.
They had witnessed something they would never forget: a ten-year-old boy had defeated three Dou Wangs alone—and barely even broke a sweat.
And just like the wind he commanded—Xiao Feng vanished, soaring into the skies and leaving behind a battlefield in awe and ruin.
