The Unmatched Battle
Vaibhav's hand trembled slightly as he reached for the door handle. He took a deep breath, steadying himself, before pulling it open.
Standing on the doorstep was Toji, his towering frame casting a menacing shadow in the dim light. His piercing gaze locked onto Vaibhav, and his lips curled into a cold smirk.
"I think my brother and sister came here," Toji said, his deep voice calm but carrying an unmistakable edge of authority.
Vaibhav forced a nervous chuckle, shaking his head. "What? Here? No, no, they're not here. You must've misunderstood." His voice wavered slightly, and he prayed Toji wouldn't notice.
Toji's eyes narrowed as he studied Vaibhav. For a moment, it seemed as if he believed him—until his gaze shifted past Vaibhav's shoulder.
His entire demeanor darkened.
Behind Vaibhav, Tarun's bike was parked in plain sight, and just beyond that, Tanvi was peeking through a small gap in the curtains.
A dangerous silence filled the air.
Then, in an instant, Toji's expression twisted into pure fury.
"You think you can lie to me?" he growled, his body tensing. Without warning, he lunged at Vaibhav, his fist colliding brutally against his ribs.
The sheer force sent Vaibhav flying backward, crashing onto the ground several feet away. He gasped, pain exploding in his chest as he struggled to breathe.
Toji stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with disdain. "I told you before, Vaibhav. Stay away from my sister. Stay away from my family." His voice was eerily calm, but his clenched fists betrayed his barely controlled rage.
His gaze flickered to Tarun, who stood frozen in shock. "And you," he continued, his tone laced with mockery. "What did you think? That you'd challenge me, act brave, and somehow protect your friend? How pathetic."
Without warning, Toji's fist slammed into Vaibhav's stomach, making him cough up blood.
Vaibhav barely had the strength to lift his head. He's… too strong, he thought. Amit was right. If Toji is this powerful, Wick won't stand a chance in his current state.
Toji took a slow step forward. "Tarun, aren't you going to step in and save your little friend?" He tilted his head mockingly. "Or should I just finish him off?"
Two figures emerged behind Toji—Kane and Lynch, his most trusted men.
Vaibhav's breathing was ragged, his vision blurred. He wasn't just fighting Toji—he was facing an army.
Just as Toji was about to deliver another devastating blow, Tarun, Tanvi, Bhumi, and Shristi rushed forward, throwing themselves into the fight.
---
Chaos Unleashed
Tarun immediately charged at Kane, locking him in an intense one-on-one brawl, while Shristi, Tanvi, and Bhumi engaged Lynch together.
But Vaibhav... Vaibhav was barely holding on.
Toji's blows came fast and ruthless, each one landing like a hammer. Vaibhav tried to counter, tried to land a single hit—but Toji toyed with him, dodging effortlessly.
The brutal onslaught didn't stop. Punch after punch, Toji struck, each hit heavier than the last. Vaibhav's vision spun, his body barely able to register the pain anymore.
"Still standing?" Toji sneered, grabbing Vaibhav by the collar and lifting him effortlessly. "I'm only using half of my strength, and you're already falling apart."
Vaibhav's thoughts blurred. He's a monster. This isn't a fight. It's a massacre.
But suddenly—
A loud thud.
Kane collapsed to the ground, unconscious. Tarun had won.
He turned, his eyes burning with determination as he faced Toji. "If you want to fight someone, fight me." His chest rose and fell with exhaustion, but he stood firm.
Toji stared at him before letting out a low chuckle. "You?" His lips curled into an amused smirk. "Finally grew a spine, huh?"
Tarun clenched his fists, wiping the blood from his mouth. "I won't abandon my friends."
Toji let out a slow exhale before grinning. "I owe you, Vaibhav." He cracked his knuckles. "At least you managed to turn my cowardly little brother into something interesting."
Then, like a flash of lightning, he attacked.
---
A Duel of Titans
Despite his exhaustion, Tarun held his ground. He dodged the first punch and countered with a powerful kick, actually making Toji stumble back.
For a brief moment, hope sparked.
But it was crushed just as quickly.
Toji regained his balance instantly. His movements became sharper, his attacks even faster. Tarun barely had time to react before he was sent crashing into a wall.
Meanwhile, Shristi and Tanvi managed to take down Lynch. He lay groaning on the ground, unable to get back up.
But Vaibhav was still struggling, barely able to stand.
Then—
The door burst open.
Two figures stepped inside.
Rounak and Dipanshu.
Vaibhav's bloodied lips curled into a weak smile. A ray of hope.
Dipanshu rolled his shoulders, stepping forward as his sharp eyes locked onto Toji. "You've had your fun," he said coolly. "Now it's my turn."
Toji's grin widened. "Now this is interesting."
And just like that, the most explosive duel of the night began.
Dipanshu was fast. His strikes were precise, powerful, and relentless. For the first time, Toji struggled to keep up.
"Toji… he's actually struggling," Vaibhav thought, barely able to believe it.
"You're a tough guy," Toji admitted, his breath uneven.
Dipanshu smirked. "Tougher than you."
The battle raged on, both fighters refusing to back down. But Toji's height and sheer strength gave him an advantage. Dipanshu began to slow down.
Just when it seemed like Dipanshu might turn the tide—
A sharp whistle cut through the air.
Before anyone could react, Lynch—still conscious—grabbed an iron rod and swung it directly at Dipanshu's head.
The impact was brutal.
Dipanshu's body went limp as he collapsed to the floor, unconscious.
Silence filled the room.
Rounak's eyes widened in horror. "No… No way…"
Toji wiped the sweat from his forehead and chuckled. "Well, that was fun." His gaze darkened as he turned back to Vaibhav. "Now, where were we?"
Vaibhav's fingers dug into the ground. No. No. This can't be how it ends.
"I have to win," he thought desperately. "For Bhumi… I have to…"
With the last ounce of his strength, he charged at Toji.
But it was useless.
Toji dodged effortlessly, then countered with a rapid barrage of punches to Vaibhav's face.
Blood spattered onto the floor.
Vaibhav's nose was completely shattered. His right eye swollen shut. His body barely functioning.
Rounak, beaten and exhausted, called out weakly, "Vaibhav… it's over. Just give up."
But Vaibhav shook his head violently, his voice raw with desperation.
"I WON'T LOSE!" He screamed, his body burning with the need to fight, to stand, to keep going—
But no one was a match for Toji.
As Vaibhav's body swayed, barely able to stand, Toji smiled.
The battle was over.
And they had lost.
To be continued...
