Goomoonryong and Shi-woon went deeper into the warehouse, following the trail of the fleeing men. They came to a makeshift office, where they found the older man with the scar on his face sitting behind a desk.
The man looked at them with a bitter smile. "Impressive, Nine Arts Dragon. I knew you'd come, but I didn't expect you to be so fast."
"Where is the Tablet?" asked Goomoonryong, his voice menacing.
The older man burst out laughing. "You thought this was all about the tablet? No, Nine Arts Dragon. This is personal. You ruined my life years ago, and now you're going to pay."
He revealed himself to be an old rival of Goomoonryong, someone he had defeated and humiliated in the past. Shi-Woon's capture was simply a way to lure him out and exact revenge.
An intense fight ensued between Goomoonryong and the leader of the Black Leaf Clan. The older man was an experienced martial artist, but he was no match for Goomoonryong. Despite his fury and desire for revenge, he was eventually defeated.
Goomoonryong did not kill him, but left him incapacitated, warning him not to mess with him or his students again.
With the leader defeated and the other clan members neutralized, Goomoonryong and Shi-Woon left the warehouse, leaving the darkness and violence behind.
As they walked through the night, Shi-woon felt exhausted but relieved. He had been through a terrifying experience, but he had survived. Most importantly, he had seen his master in action and had begun to understand the true extent of his power.
"Thank you, Master," Shi-Woon said, his voice tired.
Goomoonryong looked at him with a faint smile. "You did well, boy. You stood up for yourself. You've taken a big step."
They knew this incident didn't mean the end of their troubles with the Murim, but for now, they were safe.
Shi-woon had experienced the dark side of his master's world, but he had also demonstrated his own courage and potential. The path ahead remained uncertain, but now they were together, master and apprentice, ready to face whatever challenges the future held. Yi Shi-woon's awakening had not only been physical, but also a deep immersion into a world of secrets, dangers, and the promise of unimaginable power.
