Zois' eyes darkened. "You're always trying to protect us by pulling away. You think letting us reject you will save us from trouble. But you're wrong."
Lukas nodded. "Do you think we care what politics say? What old scrolls whisper? You're our mate. That's sacred. You can't just… decide to throw that away."
Eila looked between them, heart pounding. "I just didn't want you to get hurt because of me. Because of what I carry. The prophecy, the curse, the scrutiny… I thought maybe—"
Lukas stepped forward abruptly, taking her hand. "We don't want to be safe, Eila. We want you."
Zois came beside her, gently taking her other hand. "And if that means walking into fire together, we'll still choose you. Every. Time."
Their voices were steady, but their wolves were humming behind their eyes. Joro and Jace—wild, protective, and filled with need. Eila could feel the pulse of their bond, thrumming hot and wild just beneath the surface.
Tears pricked her eyes. "But how can I keep all of you safe? There's so much I don't know… about the Veil, about Jeremy, about myself—"
"We'll figure it out," Lukas said. "Together."
Zois leaned forward, his forehead pressing gently to hers. "You're not meant to carry this weight alone anymore."
She closed her eyes for a moment, letting herself breathe them in—their scents, their warmth, their quiet strength. The ache inside her, the fear, the love—it all tangled into something too vast to name.
When she opened her eyes, Lukas was staring at her like he could see the exact moment her resolve cracked.
He whispered, "Let us show you what it means to be ours."
Eila sat there, trembling in the firelight, heart racing. Her lips parted to respond—She felt a set of warm lips on hers. She was soon pulled into a deep passionate kiss. It was long and urgent. Another set of hands roamed her body. Exploring and rubbing each part of her body and curves. She shivered with the sensation. Zois was kissing her neck. His teeth grazed her neck. She suddenly broke the kiss with Lukas to stop him.
" Ummm, Zois. Please, not today. You can't mark me. There is too much at stake."
Zois groaned with frustration and pulled her closer into him. She can smell his intoxicating scent. It was maddening. He continued smelling her scent deeply. "You know how much we missed being this close to you. When Leonard was shamelessly flaunting you tonight. We felt like receiving a thousand knives to our hearts. It was pure torture we couldn't even hold hands or sit near you. Right now we will take you as many times as possible to forget that feeling."
Lukas who was now busy with taking off her clothes hummed in agreement. They took her inside the house where it looked like a bedroom. It looked as luxurious as Leonard's room. Nina's magic was really something.
Lukas closed the bedroom door and started the fire in the fireplace. The cold room warmed up instantly. Eila was standing near the bed only in her bodice and her panties. Lukas looked at her and whistled. Zois looked at her with a burning desire in his eyes. She felt his wolf will take over any time now. The way things were going. Sera was also howling with joy.
Eila sat at the edge of the bed. She felt nervous. Despite being with them all the time she felt naked and nervous right now. Lukas understood that and pulled her close to him. He had opened his shirt already and was ready to drop his bleachers but he put Eila's hand on the strings asking her to do the honours.
She hesitated for a moment but Zois, who was already naked, came closer to her. His and Lukas scents mixed together gave Eila a different feeling and courage to be claimed by them.
Suddenly she felt like claiming them together would be an out of the world feeling and with that image in mind she undressed Lukas boldly.
