Jules stepped out of the classroom and spotted Abigail Peru waiting in the hallway, her gaze fixed on him.
"Good day, Miss," he said as he reached her.
Abigail smiled. "Good day."
Raising his eyebrow slightly, Jules asked:
"To what do I owe the pleasure of a personal visit?"
Abigail remained silent for a few seconds before wearing a mischievous smile.
"I heard you were hitting on my younger sister, Bryloria."
W-what? What did Lori tell her?!
Jules was visibly taken aback, making his homeroom instructor laugh.
"I'm just kidding, kid. I thought you were the unfazed kind." Waving her hand, she added, "Follow me."
Jules raised a brow as he wondered what she was here for, falling into step beside her as the buzz of students echoed faintly behind them.
As they navigated through the hallways, she asked, "Since when did you start using the sword?"
Prepared for a question like this, he replied, "Since my master died four months ago."
