Hades Pov
It's been a few days since I arrived on this island, whose name I don't remember; I only know that Ruby is the one who puts on the underground fights and shows. She said this place was secluded, so no one who hasn't been invited should be allowed there.
I was walking to the meeting place with Selena, where the other underworld leaders were—the six leaders, I mean seven. With Doflamingo's addition to the group, we're now seven; I remember when I was initially part of this, there were ten of us.
I saw the door and walked in, interrupting everything they were doing. I saw the people here, who were six—perfect. I walked up to the main chair, sat down, and looked at each of them.
The first one on my right was Leandro Silva, a tycoon who manages companies and businesses, most of which are illegal. He has the highest monetary gain and the most money; His wealth is comparable to that of celestial dragons. He's an old man with a long face, gray hair, and a beard; he wears a suit, like a businessman.
Next to him is Zero; he's an old man, not as old as Leandro, but not that far behind. He's the current owner of Gran Tesoro, better known as the Land of Dreams. I won't delve further into him, since he should be known.
Next to him was Ruby, a woman who handled the underground entertainment side of things: fights between people, fights between animals, and fights between humans and animals. Those are the most open things she does; for the rest, it's better not to tell her. I don't have the stomach for it, and I'm not as twisted as her and her clients to say it, except that it's healthier to watch a dog massacre a human. She dresses punkishly, is about 28 years old, and has red hair.
To my left was Adelina, a peculiar woman dressed in a yukata; she had black hair and red eyes and wore heavy makeup. Her greatest danger is her Devil Fruit, which activates when any part of her body is touched, so it's best to stay away from her. She handles the realm of pleasure, all kinds of pleasure. Talking about this area would be very long, so I'll leave it at that.
Morgans was also at her side, the person with the greatest influence in the media. He controls the newspaper and is the only one in this line of work, so his words carry a lot of weight with his readers. Besides being the most knowledgeable about this world, he has dealings with the Navy and the World Government, which is very dangerous.
Finally, there's the last member, Doflamingo, who focuses on the market, more specifically on auctions, buying, and selling. His main strength is illegal auctions. His influence isn't as strong as the others here, but it's still enough to accept him. If it weren't for a blonde with red eyes, he'd already have more power than this guy should have.
Ruby: "Just like the coliseum said, it was a free-for-all; there's going to be everything: humans, fishmen, beasts—"
Zero: "There will be giants," she said, interrupting Ruby's monologue.
Ruby: "Uh, no," she said, a little resigned. "I couldn't get any giants this time, and I'm not suicidal enough to capture one on Elbaph."
Zero: "Then your coliseum will be boring."
Ruby: "Come and tell me to my face, trash." She said with obvious anger.
Zero: "I'm not interested in weird brats like you."
Ruby was about to say something, but someone beat her to it.
Adeline: "You guys seem too tense. How about I give you a massage to loosen you up?"
Zero: "You believe me, you idiot woman."
Ruby: "No one who knows you in their right mind would agree to your request."
They were going to keep arguing, but I was getting bored of this.
Hades: "Everyone, shut up." And with that, everyone stopped talking and moving. "I don't care what the Coliseum is like; I just want the last four standing; they'll be my new men, under my command alone. Let them survive, if there are any; you can fight them yourselves." And with that, I stood up and left. I didn't feel like listening to them, and tomorrow would be the Coliseum, so I had to rest.
*The next day*
Third-person POV.
Inside a fairly large tower, a large crowd of people. These people arrived thanks to the invitation of the leaders of the underworld and those close to them. The highlights are two sections of the stands, one where six people are watching the show as VIPs, and another where three people are, where the center of everything can be seen more clearly and precisely. In the first were the leaders of the underworld: Leandro, Zero, Ruby, Adeline, Morgans, and Doflamingo. In the other were Hades, Selina, and Balesca.
Hades: "How long until this starts?"
Selina: "It should start in five minutes."
Hades: "I just hope there's at least someone decent here."
Not far from here, a group of ships with the marine flag can be seen. At the front of the ships is Sengoku, and next to him is Kuzan. These are the strongest personnel currently on the crusade.
On another ship, some marines were talking.
Doll: "I hope they're okay and managed to infiltrate that place."
Monsalves: "They'll be fine; after all, I know how strong they are, especially Dante."
Back at the coliseum, the gates were already opening for the participants to enter the arena. There were three gates, from which approximately 100 people emerged; at the last gate, 100 dangerous beasts began to emerge.
Balesca: "Can you imagine the beasts killing everyone, and you don't have any new personnel in your ranks?"
Hades: "Don't call bad luck, will you?"
At that moment, Ruby appears with a microphone on the screen in the coliseum.
Ruby: "Welcome to this free-for-all. In this confrontation, we're looking for four winners who will be able to secure a place in the highest spheres of this world. There, they can achieve everything they want, and their dreams can be realized. Those left standing will be considered winners, and without further ado, let them begin."
At that moment, the screen began to show the arena. Everyone stood there, still, saying nothing.
???: "Does that mean the battle has begun?" someone asked, only to grab their weapon and strike the person next to them in the neck.
And with that movement, the massacre began. Humans against humans, humans against fishmen, long-legged tribe against long-armed tribe, half-breeds against beasts—there was everything, even an oni in the middle of them all.
After about 30 minutes, the number of participants had dwindled. People cheered on the fighters; each had their favorite, shouting with joy when they won and wailing when they fell.
In the end, the coliseum lasted 1 hour and 54 minutes, of which only 4 were still standing. Most of the fallen were dead; the others survived, with some injuries ranging from minor to severe, but were still alive.
The first of the survivors was a woman with short white hair. She wore a fighter's outfit, her fists and much of her body covered in blood. On her wrists were gloves with a gauntlet that had a sharp edge.
Next up was a guy with long blond hair. He didn't have anything special about him, aside from blood on his fists, which could have been his or his opponents'. He was currently adjusting his glasses, which didn't allow him to see the irises of his eyes at this very moment.
Next up is the oni who arrived at the competition; he was about 2.80 meters tall, with two-tone hair, one black and the other white. He held a sword, which was covered in blood. And at that moment, he was staring at someone specific.
And that would be the last contestant standing; he had black hair and wore a mask. In his left hand, he held a shield about a meter in diameter, and in his other hand, a sword, which, curiously, didn't have a single trace of blood on it.
Hades stared at these four people with interest.
Hades: "Selina, who are these?"
Selina: "The first is So-Hyun, and she's the only woman who managed to win; the other is Jepper, the blond guy with glasses; the oni is named Chthon, and finally, we have Percival, who is the one with the shield and sword."
Hades: "That name sounds familiar."
Balesca: "I think it comes from a book, so maybe it's not his name, just an alias."
Hades: "No problem. Take them to the break room. I want you to take everyone one by one to my lounge, where I'll talk to them."
Balesca: "I'll go with the others, since they said they should play poker after the collide, and I want to play."
Hades: "Go ahead, I can take on any of them if they get crazy."
And so, Hades went to his lounge to wait for the winners to arrive so he could recruit them into his ranks.
Before entering the lounge, he saw the two guards, who had a large box next to them. He found it a bit odd but didn't give it much thought; he just wanted to talk to the guys, recruit them, and get out of here as quickly as possible.
And so the minutes passed, and Hades began to get worried, and his concern only grew worse as time passed.
Hades: 'How strange, Selina must have already arrived with at least one other participant, and if something had happened to her, a guard would have come to warn me,' he thought, and at the same time used a bit of observation haki to scan the place.
There he saw one of the participants walking with two guards; one had an object hanging from his back, perhaps the participant's sword, since the one who had come was Percival.
He wondered why Selina wasn't coming; he would take the opportunity to ask for her when they entered.
At that moment, he stopped looking and began to meditate until he realized they hadn't entered. Until he suddenly opened his eyes, only to jump out of his seat and see a bullet shatter the door, along with the seat and the wall, generating a bit of smoke in the room.
Hades, in the air, generated a fireball and threw it at the scene; when it hit, it caused a small explosion. The place was destroyed; only smoke and five silhouettes could be seen. The moment the smoke cleared, his anger skyrocketed.
There were four of the five people he had hated the most lately. They were all wearing guard outfits, and seeing them like that, he realized the two guards standing at the door were them too; he just didn't recognize them because of their helmets and didn't look at them closely.
One was a woman with blue-tinged blonde hair, another with black hair, the next with white hair, and the last with brown hair. Another thing he just realized was that Percival's complexion had changed, and not only that, but his hair color had changed as well.
???: "Well, that didn't work; let's move on to the other plan," the man said, only to take off his mask and see the person he hated the most, the person who had killed his brother, Dante.
Hades, already on fire, lunges at Dante, who manages to dodge him. Arthur goes to the box that was there before, slightly burned, pulling out a spear and a sansetsukon.
Arthur was about to attack, but Isis beat him to it; with a gust of wind, she sends Hades flying down the hallway.
As he falls, he settles himself only to realize that an alarm has begun to sound and hear the sound of cannon fire. From the window, he sees naval vessels arriving at the island, destroying the entire port, and preparing to enter.
Dante: "Trini, Sulli, get ready."
Trini: "Yes."
Sulli: "Understood."
With that, the two left, leaving Dante, Arthur, and Isis to face Hades head-to-head.
On the shore, Sengoku is seen disembarking with some marines.
Sengoku: "Remember, there are two underworld leaders we can't touch."
Marines: "Understood," said all the marines present.
At that moment, some civilian-looking people appeared with den den mushi in their hands.
Civilian: "Admiral Sengoku, it's safe for us to be here."
Sengoku: "Kong said this incident must be broadcast live to show the strength of the Marines and demonstrate our friendship with them. We're busy, so we can't record it; your job is to record everything, we'll protect you, so just do your job."
The man nodded and gave a signal to the others, who began using the den den mushi to broadcast what happened at the scene. When they started broadcasting, Sengoku began giving a speech about what was happening and why they were doing this. In the background, the Marines were fighting different types of enemies, including beasts, gangsters, guards, and others.
In the basement, an eight-person poker game was playing until an alarm started; this scared everyone. Hogan, who was manning the table, approached Balesca.
Hogan: "What's going on? Are they attacking us?"
Balesca: "It seems so, you go to the front line; I'll go see the boss."
Everyone there nods and moves to fight the marines. She heads elsewhere, to some stairs that lead to a shortcut that leads to the main mansion where Hades was.
As I walk through the tunnel, I suddenly feel the temperature drop drastically. At that moment, I realize something is wrong, but I act too late.
The entire tunnel suddenly froze, including her feet.
???: "I'm not letting you out of here. I was brought here to take care of you since you're very dangerous." A voice was heard in the tunnel, only for a tall man with an afro and a marine cape to appear.
Balesca: "How long have you been here?"
Kuzan: "I infiltrated the middle of the coliseum, if that's what you're asking." After saying that, he gets into a fighting stance.
Returning to the mansion, you can see power outages emanating from here, followed by Hades, who then emerges through the roof, followed by Isis.
She makes a gun sign with one hand and fires an air bullet at Hades. He doesn't dodge it, so it hits his body, only for it to pierce through him and regenerate with fire.
Isis: "So it's the lodge."
Dante and Arthur appear a little later.
Dante: "That's bad news."
Hades, as he falls, positions himself with one foot raised, one hand in a prayer sign, and the other forward as if showing something, only for Dante, Arthur, and Isis to feel the temperature of the room suddenly rise. At that moment, six balls of concentrated fire appear on his back.
(Note: In the style of Naruto's Six Paths)
Dante: "It's not one, but two pieces of bad news."
Hades, with his forward hand, aims at his enemies and launches a fireball. The others move away, and the moment the ball gets closer, it expands, like an explosion, reaching certain levels for the three of them.
Dante sees his companions, a little burned, focusing more on Isis with a burn on her hand.
Dante: "What I feared: the wind fans the fire more, so Hades can damage Isis without using Haki. This is something I suspected when he fought Marie, and the other thing is that this guy must have an awakened Devil Fruit; otherwise, I don't understand how he can create fire without fuel."
Suddenly, Hades, Human Torch-style, goes to the room where he was attacked. Dante decides to go after him. Arthur follows, not far behind.
Once the two arrive, they see Hades, holding a Bo staff, fire beginning to flow from the ends.
Hades: "It would be unfair if I couldn't use my weapon."
Arthur: "Fuck you."
Arthur launched himself at him. The exchanges of blows were swift and precise, but Hades began to gain ground in the fight. Just as he was about to strike Arthur in the neck, Dante appeared from behind and slashed him horizontally.
Hades had no choice but to cover the cut with his staff; what he didn't expect was the amount of force Dante would exert, sending him flying out of the mansion.
Outside, already in the air, a gust of wind hits him, lifting him up. He sees his energy being cut off, but he also realizes he's been shot with another of those bullets, so he decides to use his flames to soar higher, dodging the attacks, only to then head at top speed back the way the bullet came from.
Dante: "Shit's after Trini," he said to Arthur and Isis, then raced as fast as he could to where he had gone.
Elsewhere, Trini watched Hades travel at top speed toward her. Using her Haki, she saw him launch a fireball that hit her directly, so she had to get out of there as quickly as possible. A few seconds later, the attack came, creating a larger fireball as it exploded.
Trini: "Shit," she said as she threw herself to the ground due to the explosion and the rise in temperature. In the process, she dropped some bullets on the ground.
As she stood up, Hades appeared, looking at the bullets on the ground.
Hades: "I see, sea stone bullets. No wonder I saw that raft would kill me on impact."
Trini tensed as she faced Hades. Using her Haki, she saw him about to kick her in the face, so she used Armament Haki on his face and covered herself with AT.
Hades noticed this but still attacked as she had intended; only instead of orange fire, blue fire erupted from his leg.
He kicked Trini in the face; despite his Haki, it still burned her face, and most importantly, the kick landed directly in her eye, which destroyed it immediately. If she hadn't used Haki, it would have destroyed her face, and she would have died.
Trini: "¡AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" came the scream as she threw herself to the ground and covered the burn on her face.
Dante: "Cursed," she heard herself say as she tried to slash him vertically. He dodged it by moving to the side to hit him in the jaw, knocking him away, and in the process, dropping the Fusion Sword.
Arthur followed, jumping on top of Hades to throw Durindana, who jumped back. The blow from the spear destroyed the entire terrain in a 4-meter diameter.
Arthur, as he fell, grabbed his spear and tried to attack Hades, who dodged the attacks. He also saw that Isis had arrived, so with his staff and all his strength, he slashed horizontally, sending Arthur flying towards Isis, who collided with her, far away from here.
Hades, knowing they would return quickly, wasted no time. Intending to kill Trini, he tried to grab the Fusion Sword to kill her, but at the moment of Trying to lift it, I can't. He used all the strength he had, but he could only lift it slightly off the ground.
???: "You're too weak for that sword." Hades turned around only to see Dante's fist strike him in the face, knocking him back a few feet.
I started rubbing my face in pain from Dante's blow, which drew blood and knocked out two teeth.
Dante: "Don't be surprised; of the five of us, I'm the only one who can lift this sword." He said, lifting the Fusion Sword with great ease. He then tossed it into the air as it spun, then effortlessly grabbed it. "Isis, take Trini to Sulli quickly."
Isis: "I understand." She said, reaching Arthur's side, then grabbing Trini and taking her to the AT.
Thus, only Hades, Dante, and Arthur remained. No one moved, only to feel the temperature continue to rise.
Dante picked up Nemesis on his hip, throwing him to Arthur, who was wearing gloves so he could use the weapon.
Dante: "Use that, because if you hit him, you can nullify any attack he's doing."
Arthur temporarily took Durindana to occupy Nemesis.
Hades watched as Dante stepped on his Bo staff, which he then lifted with his foot and threw away.
The temperature continued to rise to a point where neither Dante nor Arthur believed they could bear it any longer.
Without saying anything, Dante launched a slash, which Hades dodged only to have to move when he saw Arthur with Nemesis moving toward his head.
Hades stepped between them and extended a hand to each of them, palm open.
Hades: "Flame!" With that, both hands burst into flames and launched a blast of flame at each of them.
Arthur jumped to the attack, while Dante ducked. Arthur, with his height, tried to hit him in the head with Nemesis, but Hades flew up, then split into two Hades.
Arthur: "What? He can do that?"
Dante: "I think so."
(Note: Kisaru had already done this with his Logia.)
With that, each of them attacked an opponent. But Dante didn't take kindly to this, so he used Haki to cut the energy. Only one dodged it, splitting the other in half. Hades clicked his tongue, only to grab the fire and begin spreading it in a certain way, creating a circle of fire centered on Dante and Arthur.
They were too close to the fire to take a step and be burned completely. In the fire, he appeared in front of Dante to strike, only to be struck back, but Hades magically teleported to Arthur.
He tried to hit Arthur, but Arthur countered with Nemesis, who teleported back to Dante, forcing him to block the attack.
Dante: "It's the circle of fire; that's what allows him to teleport like that; if we remove the circle, he should stop doing that."
Dante: "Arthur destroys the place using Nemesis now."
Arthur nodded. And just as he was about to do as requested, Hades appeared in the sky with a fireball, throwing it at the two of them.
They both had to jump into the circle of fire, and where they stood, a small burst of fire was created.
At that moment, they separated, so Hades went for Arthur. Arthur was standing up as he stood up, only he was surrounded by blue flames.
Arthur, unaware of the danger, kicked Hades, who not only dodged but also grabbed Arthur's foot and proceeded to burn it.
Arthur: "¡AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Arthur's scream was heard.
And before he could continue burning Arthur, Isis appeared, hiding, waiting for an opportunity to attack. Seeing what had happened, she decided to act before Arthur was completely burned.
Isis threw a ball of air at him, which destroyed several parts of his body, including the arm holding Arthur.
Hades couldn't counterattack, having to jump due to Dante's power outage.
Continuing with the plan, Isis sent a blast of air at Hades, sending him to a specific location.
Neither of them followed him as they were going there but instead went to see Arthur.
Arthur's entire foot was burned, so he couldn't walk or stand.
Dante: "Isis, take Arthur, and let's continue with plan E."
Isis: "Are you planning on fighting him alone?"
Dante: "I can't let him hurt you like that. just You and Trini support me when necessary, from a distance."
She just nodded, taking Arthur with her.
After they left, Dante looked at a specific spot where a giant ball of fire erupted from that specific location.
*Flashback*
Hades had fallen into a somewhat secluded spot, from which he got up as soon as he sensed someone nearby. Looking around, he saw a man wearing a fire mask and a layer of thermal insulation. This was Sulli, who was carrying a bomb.
Sulli: "I see you like smoke; I hope you like inhaling this." And with that, he activated the bomb, spreading smoke everywhere.
Hades inhaled the smoke, only for his eyes to turn red and for him to begin coughing profusely.
Hades: "This is poison."
Sulli: "You're clever! You deserve a prize. You liked it; the others told me I should be less rigid and start telling jokes."
This enraged Hades, who, with blood pouring from his mouth, generated a giant wave of fire, which Sulli covered with the insulation.
Once he finished, Sulli looked around only to see Hades, covered in blue fire, his eyes filled with blood, along with fire coming out of his mouth and one of his eyes.
Without waiting for anything, he sent a punch to Sulli's stomach. Sulli escaped the burn but was still knocked out.
Dante: "You don't look well; you need a break," he said, appearing not far from Hades.
Hades: "You bored me. I'll use all my power and strength to kill you and your companions," he said, while blood was still flowing from his mouth, eyes, and nose.
Dante: "Well, that's it."
And with that, the two launched into a fistfight. Unlike the others, Dante wasn't immediately burned when he touched Hades's blue flames, as his Armament Haki is stronger than Arthur's and Isis's, but he still got burned a little.
What neither of them noticed was a guy pointing a den den mushi at him, broadcasting their confrontation to the whole world.
