On the way to The Wastelands
Kota: "System, Show me The second Notification!".
System: "Author Authority has leveled up!"
"You can now summon your pen and use its true form!"
Kota: "Come out!"
The Pen then materialized in my hand, but I don't know its true form.
How did I unlock something I don't know anything about?
On the way to the wastelands, I dived into my memories.
From when I first entered a new strange world, saw my friends die, meeting alfar who uses my shape as a disguise.
Yarelia who got kidnapped.
The locaria town.
Association.
Marco and Luicid!
Kota: "Finally, I will place an end to this!"
"I don't know how many times I will die, but this will be the final match."
I reached the wasteland after taking a nap, somewhere near so now I have a new checkpoint.
My Last Checkpoint!
I exhaled deeply all the air in my chest and started walking.
Kota: "Let's Begin!"
Inside the castle
Kaisel: "Lord Alfar, Kota has come"
Alfar: "Great, Send him our little presents."
Kaisel: "Yes, your majesty!"
Infront of The Castle
Kaisel: "We have been waiting for you, Kota!"
Kota: "Kaisel….."
Kaisel: "Hold on, I'm not the one who will fight you!"
"If you survive them, then we will be your opponents."
"Enjoy killing who you wanted to save, Kota"
From the Castle Gates, I saw nine figures began to come out of the castle.
My friends!
No, the people I once called friends, now they are just puppets!
Kota: "Everyone...".
They began to attack me, but I couldn't hurt my own friends, the people I love.
I can't hurt them nor hate them, even when they are trying to hurt me.
The first clash was between me and Gerlad.
I used Luicid's Sister blade to block his sword.
Kota: "Gerald, Wake up!"
"Remember the old days, When we used to hang out just for food"
"GERALD!!".
Gerald: "…."
I jumped backward to make a distance between Gerald and me, only to be ambushed by Yone from behind.
Kota: "Yone! We knew each other before college, Remember!".
Yone: "…."
Aarron launched his mana spikes at me, even when Yone was in range.
I took the damage, and before I realise.
Yone stabbed my heart!
2nd attempt of the final match
I blocked Gerald, and Dodged Yone then dashed at Aaron.
Kota: "AARON!, Wake up, please.."
"Make fun of me as you used to, Just please wake up!".
Aaron: "..."
Yarelia came to attack me from the side, which I blocked but I was sent far away.
I flew away until hit a rock, I opened my eyes to see Meva shooting my legs with her guns,
Then Jumana Aimed her arrow at me, Killing me!
No matter how many times I call them, they don't hear me.
I couldn't get myself to hurt them, because of that I kept dying.
In the 3rd try Nora, sneaked up from behind and killed me.
4th try, Gerald!
5th try, Yarelia!
7th attempt — Nora again. My heart clenched, but I didn't even flinch this time. Just pain, just darkness, just death.
I tried to call them without fighting back during all those Attempts
Even Aliera and Maya who supported the others from the back lines, I tried to call them but nothing worked.
I died over and over and over and everytime I kept losing hope!
10th attempt in the final match.
Kota: "There is no hope!"
"They are under full control by Alfar."
"I'm sorry everyone, I have no choice but to fight back"
I held my Katana in a reversed position.
Katana swords have a sharp white side and a
non-sharp black one
The black side is used to block while the white is used for cutting.
All the time since I received this sword I fought with the white side but not in this fight.
I pointed the black side toward them, My Friends!
Kota: "Let's begin!"
"No more holding back!"
I clashed with Gerald at first, but this time was not blocking, I swung my sword with all my force breaking his shield.
And before he could react i attacked him with the non-sharp on the head dropping him unconscious.
Then Everyone followed him, one by one fell.
Aliera, Nora, Yone and so on.
Until it was me and Yarelia only!
Kota: "Yarelia, I don't want to hurt you."
"Step aside, so I can fight alfar and end this misery."
Yarelia: "you have to kill me first, Kota!".
Kota: "…."
I clashed with yarelia multiple times, but I didn't attack, all I did was block.
After all, I can't hurt the person who I drove myself to the limits for!
During The fight, I broke Yarelia's flying blades.
She started fighting with her fists, They had no effect on me, But I still felt hurt…..
At this point, I have no choice but to drop her unconscious like the others.
Kota: "I'm sorry, Yarelia!".
I dropped my Katana and Closed my first giving her a firm punch in the stomach.
Which made her lose conscious.
Kota: "Just wait here"
once you wake up, this nightmare will have ended".
Kaisel (Clapping): "Amazing, Amazing!"
"What a beautiful show!"
Kaisel then drew his weapon, Standing next to him Orien a fist warrior, Silver a swordman and Morven a mage that can open portals.
Kaisel : "Shall we begin the second Round?"
He said those words with a crazy smile all over his face.
