Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: What Does This Mean?

"I wasn't crying and throwing a tantrum!"

Silver Wolf's voice carried three parts grievance, three parts resilience, and three parts pitiful vulnerability as she uttered these words.

[LMAO, that tone of utter despair!]

[I can tell Silver Wolf is desperate, but I can't stop laughing.]

[The crying voice is so on point.]

[Crying and throwing a tantrum, wahhhh, so pitiful!]

[Thanks to "Still Talking Tough" for sending a rocket!]

[Hahaha, not crying and throwing a tantrum, just a little tilted.]

[Kafka's comforting her like a child.]

[Shaking with rage, Silver Wolf, my baby, her way of talking is too adorable.]

"Right, right. So what's your plan now? Hack into a nearby Interastral Peace Corporation branch to get your account back?" Kafka asked in a soothing tone.

"Sigh, one or two would be manageable, but I went too hard this time pretty much all of them are gone. A branch probably won't cut it. I'll have to go to Pier Point."

"That's the Corporation's headquarters. Just you alone?"

"Just me… what, you wanna come along?"

Kafka glanced up at the starry sky. "Afraid not. Remember? Elio's next 'script' has me in it."

"Oh, right. That story doesn't sound like my thing. Good luck to you and Blade."

[Wait, something's fishy! Kafka and Blade? Remember how both Space Comedy and Witness PVs ended abruptly, with Blade appearing at the end? Could it be…?]

[Classic miHoYo move, everything's connected! Like an old sow wearing a bra layer after layer.]

[Can't wait for Season 3! But there's not even a hint of news yet.]

Then, a narrator's voice chimed in:

"Silver Wolf quickly pulled herself together. She began to run through neon lights, past glowing signs just like the night she left her homeland and raced toward the stars."

"The End!"

Just as the audience was about to close the video, the words "The End" glitched out as if hacked, vanishing abruptly.

In its place appeared a slightly grainy clip.

"Hey everyone, it's Silver Wolf, coming to you live from the Interastral Peace Corporation's headquarters Pier Point!"

She then turned the camera around to reveal a small figure with a pacifier in their mouth.

With a smirk, they asked Silver Wolf, "Silver Wolf, what the hell even are you?"

At that moment, a subtitle appeared below: "The Stonehearts—??"

The words "The Stonehearts" were, unsurprisingly, highlighted in stark contrast.

The frame didn't show Silver Wolf's face, but her voice was clear:

"If I so much as lift a finger, every single one of your server accounts will be hacked. And not just that—I'll distribute unimaginable rewards to every viewer. You get that?"

"You wanna try me?!"

"Try me then!"

[Wait, what???]

[Did she just break the fourth wall?]

[No way, wasn't it because Silver Wolf fought miHoYo's CEO that she hacked their official account and sent out rewards?]

[If this got filmed into the web series movie, then obviously Silver Wolf and Su Cheng didn't actually have a falling out!]

[Maybe this was added last minute?]

[You think the censors are just for show? This is a web movie it can't be released without approval. It was definitely filmed ages ago.]

[So, there was never any beef between Silver Wolf and miHoYo? The whole drama was fabricated, a miHoYo stunt?]

[Exactly! Isn't miHoYo just treating the audience like fools?]

[Look, when you take handouts, you play along. They gave us two Honkai: Star Rail movies for a buck, what more do you want?]

[Sigh, showbiz is just like that. Beyond us mere mortals.]

[Guys, what's the deal with The Stonehearts label at the end?]

[What else could it mean? Just another plot hook. Who cares if it gets resolved? Throw it in first might be a new faction or something.]

Yet, just as the audience was about to click the exit button, Silver Wolf spoke again:

"There's a post-credits scene. Don't say I didn't warn you 95 minutes and 27 seconds…"

This time, the words "The End" finally appeared on-screen, followed by the credits.

"95 minutes and 27 seconds?" A young man carefully dragged the progress bar.

"Not a second more, not a second less. Perfect timing."

At that moment, aboard Herta Space Station, Stelle's phone buzzed with a notification. She opened it to find an old friend had sent her an image.

The picture was blurry but slowly loading.

From top to bottom, text gradually appeared:

"October 4, XX Year, Herta Space Station."

Then, the silhouettes of a man and a woman emerged, faintly visible in an intimate embrace though their faces remained unclear.

Suddenly, the loading stopped. No matter how much Stelle tapped, the image wouldn't load further.

She set her phone down and scratched her head in frustration.

"What does this mean? What's Rocky trying to say by sending me this?"

[???]

[Rocky?]
