"Still, I believe everyone agrees with leaving tomorrow." Hazel said, ignoring the awkward atmosphere in the room.
"Hmm." The Western Serpent leader nodded. He was known as a man of little words. Second oldest among the four leaders.
"I suddenly can't believe it." Mandy said with watery eyes. "We're going home tomorrow."
"Home, huh?" The Eastern Serpent leader said absent-mindedly, a lost look in his eyes.
"It's alright. I know you missed your families so much." Iruca nodded in sympathy, understanding their plight.
"But no matter what, Lady Hazel, we wouldn't forget this favor. Anytime you need us, we will always be at your service!" Mandy said as he performed an awkward military salute— the other leaders following his movement.
"No need. It is better to go live your lives peacefully." Hazel said coldly, dismissing their dedication, then walked out.
Pausing slightly at the door, she said without looking back.
"It's just fate that we met."
Then she left.
