Mina approached Tanjiro and said with concern, "Big brother, is your head alright?"
"My head's fine!" Tanjiro replied without any sign of distress.
Mina exclaimed in amazement, "Big brother is amazing! Can I touch your head?"
Tanjiro leaned his head forward, allowing Mina to touch it.
Zenitsu stared at Tanjiro as if he were a freak, thinking, "That's terrifying! Tanjiro's head didn't even bleed. How hard is his skull?! If I got hit like that, I'd probably die instantly!"
Imagining a future where he married Nezuko and suffered domestic headbutting violence from Tanjiro, Zenitsu shivered and touched his own forehead.
After Inosuke fainted, the atmosphere relaxed. Tanjiro turned to Ryuji and asked, "Ryuji-senpai, are you alright? Did you defeat that Lower Rank Six?"
Ryuji nodded, calmly replying, "Yes."
"How's the situation in the villa? Is everything taken care of?" Ryuji asked Tanjiro in return.
Tanjiro nodded. "Everything's handled! There was a demon named Kyogai. His Blood Demon Art was incredible; it could twist space. He was a Lower Rank Six of the Twelve Kizuki, but for some reason, he was stripped of his rank."
"But I used my wits to defeat him!"
Tanjiro briefly explained his experience in the villa to Ryuji.
Ryuji listened attentively, nodded, patted Tanjiro on the shoulder, and said, "You did great. No matter the situation, maintain a calm mind and unwavering confidence."
Ryuji understood Tanjiro's strength and talent were not far below his own. Ryuji's advantage lay in his unique Demonification ability.
Without Demonification, in his normal state, Ryuji was only slightly stronger than Tanjiro.
In time, Tanjiro would inevitably reach Ryuji's level.
Tanjiro then treated Inosuke's external wounds and laid him down to rest on a relatively flat area.
While Tanjiro tended to the unconscious Inosuke, Ryuji approached Mina and her siblings, asking their eldest brother, "What are your plans now? Besides your parents, do you have other relatives?"
The eldest brother shook his head. "No. But we'll live strong. I'll raise my siblings. I plan to move to a village near the foot of the mountain and start anew. I just hope we won't encounter those monsters that broke into our home tonight again."
Ryuji nodded, saying nothing.
Perhaps continuing to live in that villa would bring back painful memories. Moving and starting fresh would be the best choice.
That way, their deceased parents could rest in peace.
