"Ok guys, I'm home!!"
I finally arrived home, with a shopping bag in my hand.
The girls were just as they were when I left.
"You lazies! You're doing absolutely nothing today!"
Amari, still watching TV and looking depressed, said.
"Shut up... I'm just tired, I have never made so much effort and exercise in my life."
"YOUR TRAINING ISN'T WORKING THEN!"
"Training? What training?"
Oh, it must be a secret training that I can't tell anyone!
"A-Ah... nothing."
Sayuri ran up to me, looking kind of excited.
"Hey hey Kai, show me what you bought to Lotte!"
I tilted my head a bit.
"Why are so excited a bit."
She looked down and put her hand over her mouth, kind of mocking me.
"I can't wait to see the poor girl go through the worst embarrassment of her life."
Suddenly, Amari got up from the sofa and looked at me, with a curious look and not at all lazy or carefree.
"Oh yeah, I want to see it too!"
Jeez, they are making me nervous!
"Hey hey, calm down! It's just clothes after all."
Lotte made a smile to me.
"Let me see Kai. I won't judge, I know what I'm getting into."
"Alright..."
Kinda scared, I slowly handed the bag to her, she said "thank you" and slowly opened the bag.
Sayuri tried to tease me.
"Uhhh, the little boy is embarrassed?"
"Uh? No, I'm just afraid that she will not like."
Sayuri looked kinda disappointed.
"Ah yeah, I forgot you just never feel that."
But before revealing it, Lotte simply stop.
"You know what, I'll get dressed first and then I'll come here."
She slowly went to the bathroom.
While she went away, Amari screamed.
"AHHHH, STOP EDGING US!!"
A bit later, she returned.
"Hey so, what you think?"
She spread her arms and gave a spin, looking at her outfit with a little excitement smile.
"Oh wow Kai, I liked it. It's really my style."
The clothes were:
A striped light green shirt, along with a light green jacket tucked into a skirt with a black belt. The sleeves of her jacket end with large, white cuffs. Both her jacket and skirt have white trims along the edges.
Over her jacket, she has a short cape that matches the white and green theme of her jacket and skirt, and the cape includes decorative, white accents and a high collar that is fastened with a white jewel.
"But well, I think you forgot about the legs, or you just wanted me to walk around with nothing on from the legs down, even without shoes, anyway I decided to wear these pantyhose, and I'm wearing these brown boots. I hope you don't mind."
I tilted my head.
"Uh? Paint house? What's that?"
Amari and Sayuri said at the same time.
"He just forgot to buy it..."
Amari looked at Lotte, and shrugged a little while nodding, something more appreciative.
"Well actually isn't that bad... But green? It couldn't be more stereotypical of an elf."
Sayuri also nodded.
"Yeah yeah, All that was missing was to buy a green wig."
"Oh c'mon! She asked for a 'elfie thing'! What was I supposed to buy?"
But then, Lotte said with a calm smile.
"It's no problem Kai, I like it."
"Oh well, you're welcome!"
But then, Amari said.
"Well uh, Kai... You're going to have to go back to the guild, we kind of forgot about the box, so someone's going to have to go there to see if there's any way to get the reward."
"Oh the reward? It's in the mailbox. Clown sent us the entire reward, through there."
Sayuri quickly answer, kinda nervous.
"Y-YOU MET KAI!?"
"No, he wasn't there. Mana told me."
"Oh... Ok then, I'll go get it."
Sayuri walked outside.
Amari said.
"Well, I'll watch TV."
She lay down on the sofa again.
Lotte:
"The book I'm reading is really interesting."
She seat down.
"Thus spoke Kishibe Mohan, someone wants to read?"
Amari exclaimed from the sofa.
"Shut up old one! Nobody wants to read about Nietzsche- Wait, KISHIBE MOHAN!?"
"Yes of course, a great philosopher."
"I-I thought you were saying thus spoke Zarathustra... Not Mohan! Wait y-you mean with a R right?"
Before Lotte could respond in confusion, Sayuri appeared with a bunch of cash in her hand.
"Wow, he actually delivered 100,000 live shields in the mail..."
Instantly, Amari and I cheered up a lot.
I quickly ran towards Sayuri, who could barely walk with all that money that she somehow managed to hold in her arms, even though it covered her head.
"Wow! So much money!! I could buy a football stadium with all of it!!"
Amari:
"No you couldn't... Anyway let's break this down in order by age, so I get more, then-"
Lotte slowly raised her hand.
"Ah but, I'm 17."
I said.
"Wait no! You're 1850!!"
Amari got quite angry.
"Ah damn! I forgot about her..."
As we argued, Sayuri began to stagger holding all that money.
"Hey H-Hey, c-could someone help me to hold all of this-"
She fell backwards.
After a while, we managed to put all that money on a table.
The four of us are just looking at it and analyzing it.
Amari:
"Sayuri, how long will this be enough to pay the bills?"
"Some months..."
"It's a huge money right? How much in dollars?"
"Uh? In what?"
"Oh forgot..."
Lotte said, quite apathetic.
"Well guys, we should probably think of a smart way to save that money. Maybe-"
Amari and I immediately shouted.
"HELL NO!!"
"I-I was just saying what I think you would say..."
Amari put a finger up and another in her hip.
"There's no way we're going to not waste all this!"
"Yeah! Especially when we're so close to such a special day!"
Sayuri and Lotte looked confused at us, then we slowly turned to Sayuri.
Amari:
"You don't know?..."
She tilted her head:
"Hm, no?"
We both screamed.
"YOUR BIRTHDAY!!! IS IN 2 DAYS!!!"
Sayuri made an "oh", and looked down.
I said.
"AND YOU SAID YOU WANTED TO MAKE A HUGE PARTY! Well, it wasn't for your birthday, BUT WE KNOW YOU WILL LIKE IT!"
"You remember it..."
Amari and I looked at ourselves in confusion, then at Sayuri.
Amari said.
"Uh of course?"
I said.
"I would never forget a friend's birthday!"
Lotte said quite ashamed.
"A-AH SORRY! I-I DIDN'T KNOW, I JUST JOINED MAKES 2 DAYS!!"
Sayuri just kept looking at the ground?looking a little downcast?
"Oh yes, my birthday..."
Then she simply turned around.
"I will go to my room, I'm a bit tired..."
She just started to walk, but then turned her faces to us and said with a sad-like smile.
"Yeah, I really made the right choice..."
And just kept walking away.
When she left, the three of us were extremely confused.
Amari:
"What's wrong with her?"
Lotte:
"Even I, who live so much, enjoy and celebrate all my birthdays."
What could be... OH I KNOW!
"Oh wait! I know!! See like, she wants a surprise party! So she went away to give us time!!!"
Amari snapped her fingers.
"You're a genius!! N-Not actually... Ok guys, let's make the best party ever!!"
And so, we went straight to the guild to buy as many things as possible.
I haven't eaten anything since I woke up, lucky we're actually going to the guild.
After a while, we returned home and hid all the purchases in my room so Sayuri wouldn't find them.
But when we went downstairs, she was already in the living room with the fireplace lit.
"Oh you finally arrive? You've been gone for so long that it's already night and very cold."

Well anyway, her birthday is only 2 days away, so there's not much else we can do other than wait.
The next day, I rushed into the living room and-
"NOOO!! WHY WAS I THE LAST ONE TO WAKE UP AGAIN!?"
Amari watching TV, Lotte reading and Sayuri writing something on a piece of paper. Probably making baby-drawings-like haha.
Lotte said.
"You're not... She is still sleeping."
She pointed to Amari.
"S-SHE IS SLEEPING THERE!?"
Sayuri placed her index finger in front of her mouth.
"Shush! I need to concentrate."
Lotte:
"Yes, she fell asleep there today."
"What hours is it?"
"10am."
Hearing that, I slowly approached Amari's sofa and take a good deep breath.
"Huhun..."
...
"WAKE UPPPPP!!!!!!"
"B-BUAHHHHHH-"
"AHH SHUT UP! I NEED TO FOCUS!!"
A bit later, we are all gathered in the living room, awake.
Amari clung to the sofa.
"Oh man, don't make that ever again..."
"You shouldn't sleep till this late!"
"LOOK WHO'S TALKING!-"
"SHUSHHH!!"
We both fell silent.
Amari simply looked at me, Lotte, Sayuri and to herself and said.
"Hey... This looks like a harem."
Lotte opened her mouth a bit.
"Oh wait, it's actually kinda true."
Sayuri said without taking her face off the paper.
"Ha! This idiot doesn't even know where babies come from!"
Ah wait, she is mocking me!
"Of course I do!!!"
I said quite angry.
"It's when... when... Hold on."

Amari simply said.
"You... for real?"
"AHHHH... IT'S NOT MY FAULT! MOM NEVER TOLD ME!!"
Sayuri even took the face off the paper and looked at me, she was a little red for some reason.
"A-ARE YOU THAT IDIOT?!"
"I SAID IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!"
Lotte said.
"Well, I have a book that explains that in my collection, if you-"
Amari and Sayuri shouted at the same time to her.
"NO WAY!! AND WHY WOULD YOU HAVE THAT!?!?"
"I like reading and collecting books... Just a hobby of mine."
Sayuri kept yelling.
"BUT T-THAT KIND OF BOOKS!? THAT'S-"
"OK HOLD ON!"
I said that.
I'm quite angry now, how I don't know that!? Wait, it's like a secret or something?
"Is that like uh, a secret Beatitudo thing?"
Amari talked low, almost like a whisper.
"No... It's, basic human thing... WAIT, YOU'RE ALMOST MY AGE AND DON'T KNOW THAT!? WHAT KIND OF 16 YEARS OLD BOY ARE YOU!?"
Sayuri said.
"Yeah yeah like... I-I think every 11 years old boy is already... s-seeking it."
"Uh? SEEKING IT!? WHY WOULD I WANT TO BE A DAD WITH 10 YEARS OLD?!"
"T-THAT WAS NOT WHAT I MEANT!!!"
Amari pointed at me.
"If it was the loli I would understand... Well not really, but a little more at least, than you who are almost an adult!!"
Sayuri:
"I-I know how it's done!! We learn at school!!!... W-Wait, what did you called me-"
Lotte interrupted her.
"Elves reproduce the same way. Humans and elves can breed by the way-"
The 2 other girls shouted at her.
"NO ONE ASKED!!"
God this must be really bad...
Is it such basic knowledge? Why I don't know then.
"I NEED TO FIND OUT!!"
Nobody said a word.
"Could you tell me?"
Sayuri and Amari must have looked, and then Sayuri simply went back to writing on the paper, and Amari looked at the ground.
"Wow the ground looks nice today-"
"I still have the book if you-"
Amari:
"NO SHUT UP YOU PERVERT ELF!!"
"Tsk, OK! If any of you is not going to tell me, I will find out alone!!"
I ran out of the house.
When I came back half an hour later, I was pretty wounded.
"I-I asked several people on the street, none of them answered me... And the police did this to me."
Instantly the 3 girls started to laugh a lot.
Amari:
"Haha, you really started to ask random people on the street how babies are made?"
"HOW ELSE I'M SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!... AND NOBODY EVEN TOLD ME!!"
They just laughed out loud.
I still don't know what the answer to that question is, but they're laughing a lot, so it's okay.
