The battlefield trembled.
The moment Xiao Wu transformed, time seemed to slow for everyone present. Suspended midair, spinning with a divine gleam, the Radiant Lunar Phoenix Chakram hovered beside Li Wei, trails of pink-gold energy carving radiant sigils into the wind itself. Giving them a divine presence
"Xiao Wu…?" Tang San muttered, his voice laced with awe and disbelief. The chakram pulsed in response, as if affirming that it is her presence.
Li Wei grip on the Diendriver tightened. His heart beat in sync with the chakram's rhythm, the connection forged through belief—hers in him, and his in her. This wasn't just a power granted by a soul ring. This was a bond that transcended the system. Trust incarnate.
"Let's soar together," he whispered, and raised the Diendriver. "Final FormRide — Engage!"
The chakram flared and darted forward.
The corrupted beast—twisted by shadow and pulsing with unnatural rage—charged with an ear-splitting roar. Its claws reached for Tang San and Ning Rongrong, who had collapsed near the edge of the battle.
"Lunar Acceleration!" Li Wei called out, voice steady.
The chakram ignited.
In a blink of an eye, the radiant wheel became a blur, spinning faster than the eye could follow. A sonic boom cracked the air as it split into three smaller versions, each one arcing outward like moonlight forged into blades. The spiraling weapons weaved around allies and curved through the enemy's reach, striking it from three angles at once.
The beast howled, as its darkness sputtering out at the place where the chakrams sliced through.
"Those are Xiao Wu's movement patterns…" Dai Mubai gasped. "It's mimicking her Eight Stage Drop!"
"No, it is mimicking her" Li Wei corrected quietly. "It is her that is in control of this power."
The beast retaliated, shadows coiling into a massive spear, launching it toward Li Wei in blind fury.
"Soft Bone Manipulation!"
The chakram's edges shimmered, then flexed—stretching mid-air like elegant, silver-pink ribbons. They lashed outward, intercepting the spear mid-flight, twisting and coiling around it like serpents. With a snap, the weapon exploded into sparks.
Zhu Zhuqing darted in behind the chaos, her eyes wide with the opening.
"She's clearing paths for us!" she realized.
"Let's not waste it!" Tang San roared, forcing himself to his feet. "Rongrong, boost Li Wei! Oscar, stay with her!"
Ning Rongrong nod and use her Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda abilities strength amplification on Li Wei.
Behind the close combat fighter, Xiao Wu's chakram circled back to Li Wei, spinning faster with renewed brilliance.
But then, the beast adapted to the movement.
Its body bloated with shadow, absorbing the incoming attacks, and its form split—three shadowy doubles peeled from its mass. One charged toward Dai Mubai. Another slithered for Tang San. The last surged toward Li Wei, fangs glowing with corrupted spirit energy.
"Li Wei! Behind—!"
Too fast.
The clone lunged—until a golden flare erupted from the chakram.
"Phoenix Resurrection Flare!" Li Wei shouted.
The chakram shattered into a ring of flame mid-spin. Golden phoenix fire spiraled outward, creating a radiant dome that burned with sacred heat. The shadow clone screeches as it disintegrated into nothingness before it able to touch him.
The flames didn't stop.
As they rolled out in a divine pulse, Tang San's wounds began closing. Dai Mubai blinked as strength returned to his limbs. Even Rongrong gasped as a soft warmth soaked into her exhausted soul.
"A… healing burst?" she murmured. "Like a phoenix's rebirth..."
"This is the power of Xiao Wu's soul," Li Wei said. "It not just represent a Strength but it also represent Hope."
A real phoenix… born from a rabbit's courage.
The real beast snarled, enraged. The main body pulled in the remains of its clones, compressing itself into a dense orb of darkness, then exploded outward with a roar, sending a wave of corrupting energy in every direction.
Too wide to dodge.
"Now!" Li Wei cried, raising the Diendriver. "Final Technique — Lunar Phoenix Fall!"
The chakram rose high, pulsing once—twice—and then dove like a shooting star.
Pink and gold streaked the sky. As it fell, the chakram split again, its body becoming a spiral of light and flame. The attack clash against each other. Then the main wheel struck the beast dead-center, piercing through its dark core, while the smaller chakrams rained down around it like stars crashing from the heavens.
BOOOOM!
The forest quaked. Leaves shredded from trees, and a cyclone of light enveloped the enemy in a brilliant explosion.
When the dust cleared.
The beast twitched, barely clinging to form. Its outer shadow shell had been peeled away, revealing a wounded spirit core inside—pale, pulsing weakly.
It was exposed.
Tang San didn't hesitate. "Blue Silver Prison—Entangle!"
His vines surged forward, binding the core. Dai Mubai roared, fists glowing, and followed with a furious Tiger Cannon.
Li Wei watched, breath heavy, as the chakram returned to his side, dimmer now, fragments of light trailing behind it has decrease in volume.
"Xiao Wu," he whispered. "Let's finish this."
The chakram glowed once more—and burst into motes of light, returning to his side and disperse into motes of light.
Xiao Wu's figure reformed beside Tang San, weak but standing, her eyes glittering with warmth and exhaustion.
"…You did great," Tang San said, reaching for her. She smiled faintly—and try to leaned into his shoulder but stop as she remember what happen before this. Where Tang San choose strength over her.
Li Wei holstered the Diendriver, his heart still pounding.
This wasn't just a victory.
It was trust, crystallized into something beautiful. And even in her transformed state, Xiao Wu had chosen to fight not as a weapon—but as a friend.
Zhao Wuji finally emerged from the trees, his eyes wide.
"…That wasn't a soul skill," he said slowly, watching the last embers fade. "That was something else entirely."
Li Wei looked up.
"It's called a Final FormRide, an abilities of my fourth soul ring, usually it work for the rider that i summon but" he said. " it also only works… when someone truly believes in me. It will then given a hand to help the one that believe in me achieve their concept of live"
Zhao Wuji nodded thoughtfully. "…Then that trust between both of you saved us all."
The group began to gather, wounded and worn, but alive. Above them, moonlight filtered through the broken canopy, painting the ruins in silver light as the fight begin at sunset
And for a moment, even the forest seemed to sigh with peace. The ambusher disappear from trace and then Li Wei realize, the place where the core of the monster been shatter. A familiar shape.
He walk toward it and hold his hand toward it. The shape of Ridewatch with image of Kamen Rider Build.
