The moment Adam took control of Eric's body he entered the Principal's private office.
He saw the two figures seated within. The Principal Logan and beside him the Emperor David. They were both seated on a plush comfortable sofa. An air of serious weighty discussion hung between them.
Adam smiled internally. A cold calculating amusement flickered within his ancient consciousness. I know why the Emperor is here, he thought.

With a calm unhurried grace that was entirely at odds with Eric's usual nervous demeanor Adam walked over to the sofa.
It was adjacent to the one where the Principal and the Emperor were seated. And he sat down. He did not wait to be invited to sit. He acted as if he belonged there.
