"What do you mean she was taken? By who? Where the hell is Adrian?" I bombarded him with questions. By now I was suddenly feeling hot, and perspiration had begun to form in my whole body.
The place was already filled up with policemen who were busy searching for the slightest trace as to where Nicole's abductors had driven.
"I don't know, sir, it was so sudden, it was as if everything was planned, and Adrian was with them. He had the whole thing planned." Rowan explained, and I could feel my anger seething, and I was more angry with myself. How did I hire a traitor, and placed him as one of Nicole's bodyguards?
Idris' car pulled over beside the convoy just then, and he stepped out hurriedly. I had totally forgotten to call him.
"What is this that I'm hearing?" Idris asked, falling in place beside me. His brows arched and his expression was curled up in worry.
"It is true." I replied, without bothering to know what he heard.
