Getting relieved of my job hit me harder than I imagined. The crazy competition with equally qualified applicants for a job alongside the "betrayal" tag that was added to my name following my blabbing about Nicole made getting a new job impossible.

Some of the firms, who had sounded desperately in need of a staff, would immediately claim to have found one already after they saw me while some of the firms had been blunt and told me that they won't hire a staff that they can't trust.
